The sun was dipping under the horizon, staining the sky a bloody red and the clouds a deep purple as Louis watched. His skin was pale, with deep blue eyes and long, blonde hair. Many people confused him for a girl. He was happy with that assessment as he had never felt right with his gender. "It was easier during the Edwardian period." He mused to himself as he watched the sunset. "So many frills and petticoats...though the corsets were a killer to wear." He smiled at the private joke.
Turning from the UV screening penthouse window and into the modern apartment, he smiled. He was wearing a long robe of fluffy blue cotton as he made his way into his bedroom. He removed the robe and hung it on the back of his bedroom door before he entered the walk-in wardrobe and began to get dressed. First was a pair of pink satin panties with extra material on the front for his small and useless package. Then a tiny, matching padded bra with inserts to give him a little and cute cleavage. Then an elasticated pink garter belt and black, silky stockings with pretty pink bows on the top. Then the difficult decision. What outfit to wear? He spent minutes running a manicured hand across the riot of colours and styles, each one hanging on its hanger. Each one that lightly caressed his fingertips sent a thrill through him until he settled on a simple, pink skater dress that both hugged his body yet covered it well. Slipping into it, he smiled and sighed in bliss. Turning, he regarded his collection of shoes before dismissing most of them as they wouldn't go with such an innocent-looking dress. He soon settled on a pair of cute mary jane pumps with a 2-inch heel. Slipping them on, he smiled and began to fix his makeup.
An hour after sundown, Louis stepped out of the apartment and walked confidently down the street. Looking every bit like the innocent little eye candy, he drew many looks from men as he headed towards a nearby club. As Louis approached, music could be heard from inside. The powerful beats reminded Louis of the sonic blasts from a bombardment he had endured during both world wars. The doorman, a massive African brute dressed in an exceptionally well-tailored suit and black sunglasses, saw him coming and lifted the rope much to the anger and dismay of some rather loose women still in the line to get in. As Louis entered the main room, he was dazzled by the lights from the DJ booth and the dance floor but soon made his way to the bar.
The Barman was a stick figure of a man with long hair tied in a ponytail and a buzz cut around the temples. He was dressed in a black waistcoat and white shirt with a red tie. Spotting Louis, he slid down the bar and stopped.
"You're here early." Said the barman loud enough to be heard over the music but not loud enough to be overheard by anyone else.
"What am I not allowed in here unless everyone is too drunk to remember me?" teased Louis giving the barman a flirtatious wink and a toothy smile.
"Heaven forbid," said the barman stepping backwards in mock defeat and a smile. Then he got on with his job and reached for some glasses as he asked. "The usual?"
"Please." smiled Louis letting the barman mix him a bloody mary before fishing out a crisp note from his bra to pay the man, telling him to keep the change as he sipped his drink. His eyes scan the room of people for a potential mark. He saw the club was busy with people tonight, and he already saw a boy looking at him like he was a piece of meat. Louis smiled and batted his eyes at the poor boy. He loved to meet these college-age "ladies men" who think they could charm "the hottie" into their bed. "It never works out the way they wanted," thought Louis fighting the urge to grin, knowing his fangs were beginning to show.
