Love and Sex at the Nursing Home

It's Mimi Sensuelle's first day at the Loving Hearts nursing home. She just finished eating dinner and is going outside for some evening air.

Apres Dessert

Mimi made her way down the corridor to the lobby of Loving Hearts Care Center using her wheelchair as a walker. She went around a couple of couches and then through a glass door out to the smoking area. Mimi wasn't a smoker but she liked the terrace and positioned herself upwind of whoever was puffing on a cancer stick.

It was a lovely evening and the water fountain sparkled in the last light of day. No one was smoking and Mimi luxuriated in the early evening air. She closed her eyes and listened to the fountain. She didn't realize she had dozed til she was awakened by laughter.

"Hey, Chiquita. Are you resting up so you have lots of sweet energy for me?"

"No. That was just an appetizer for the great big, yummy sleep I will be engaged with in a blink or two."

"What about me?"

"Good question. I have a date with the sleep fairy tonight. You're not in the picture."

"Yet."

"Ah. An optimist. Or an opportunist."

"No, just a man with a dream and a plan."

"What's the plan?"

"Keep putting myself in your face til you kiss me."

"Well, dream on. Maybe you'll see me tomorrow."

"Oh, I will. And maybe you'll see me in your dreams."

"Goodnight Rinaldo."

"Good night, princess.

"You mean queen."

" Yes. Goodnight Queen of the Night."

"That's more like it."

First Morning

Ahhhhhhh. Mimi savored her first cup of coffee of the day. She was in the dining hall/community room enjoying cookies and coffee, courtesy of Molly, the jovial mamacita who oversaw Morning Coffee and Conversation. Molly's sweetness extended beyond baked goods and caffeine. She let everyone who entered her room know that they were welcome and wanted. She had a sparkling wit and genuinely appreciated her charges.

"Good morning everyone. Please turn your chair towards me and let's do a few minutes of exercise."

"Okay. Sit up straight and extend your arms over your head..."

Molly led the group through a series of 10 simple exercises that got everyone's blood pumping and left them feeling energized and wide awake,

Uh-oh. Here Comes Trouble

Just as Molly finished leading the chair exercises, Rinaldo entered the community room and made a beeline for the empty chair next to Mimi.

"Good morning, Queenie."

"That's Your Royal Highness to you."

"Good morning Your Highness. May I call you 'Highnie' for short?"

"You certainly may not, you impertinent old man!"

"Who you calling old, you white haired lady? That's the pot calling the kettle black!"

Mimi and Rinaldo dissolved into laughter.

Banter score: Tie for Round Two.

Mimi added, "And we barely even know each other."

Molly laughed and set a coffee and two cookies in front of Rinaldo.

"Well, just try not to disturb the other residents."

Rinaldo: Okey dokie.

He looked at his watch and turned to Mimi. "Personal best. It's only 10:15 and I'm already in trouble."

"That's right, you stupid asshole."

"Hey, what did I do?"

"Nothing. Don't take it personally. I'm just not a nice lady."

"Why not?"

"Well, I used to be a nice lady."

"What happened?"

"Oh, you know. Date rape, cheating husband, divorce, abusive boyfriend, restraining order, homelessness, pneumonia, back pain, parents dying, brother dying, best friend dying, boyfriend dying... "

"I'm sorry any of that happened to you, Mimi."

"Me too. But therapy works as well as cursing a blue streak now and then."

"I get it."

"You sure about that, you asshole?"

"Yeah. I'm sure you fucking bitch."

"Now we're talking."

Mimi and Rinaldo burst into laughter which confuses everyone around them.

"Hey, Rinaldo."

"What, Gorgeous?"

"Wanna get into some real trouble with me?"

"You mean, like sexy trouble?"

"Maybe."

"I'll take that as a yes. Let's go. Show me the place and I'll... do whatever you want me to."

"I hope you had a good night's sleep, Daddy."

Rinaldo instantly has a huge boner which Mimi notices, causing her to laugh.

"Hey, is that a pickle in your pocket or are you just happy to think about molesting my sweet little body." (This is funny because Mimi is a full-bodied mature woman with lots of curves and squeezable parts.)

"Oh yeah. Daddy can't wait to put my hands all over you and plumb your depths."

"Oh my, how you do talk. I'm already getting wet."

"Good. I'll be taking advantage of that as soon as possible."

"Mmmmmmmmmmm."

Mimi and Rinaldo roll down the hall until Mimi's room is in sight.

"Okay. Wait here a couple of minutes and then come into my room as soon as no one is watching."

Rinaldo follows Mimi's instructions and is soon in her "room", a bed surrounded by a curtain for visual (though not sound) privacy.

They take off their clothes and then manage to both get on the narrow bed. Just as they accomplish this almost impossible feat, there is a knock outside the curtain.

"Mimi. It's time for your x-ray."

"Oh, I thought it was supposed to be this afternoon."

"It was but we had a spot open up."

"Okay, give me a couple minutes to get dressed and make room for you."

"That's fine. I'll be ready as soon as you are."

Rinaldo gets dressed and leaves through the bathroom door which is a path to the adjoining bedroom next door. Unfortunately, there is a woman in there who gets really pissed off and sends him back into the bathroom.

Rinaldo leaves through Mimi's space and makes it back out to the hallway.

A nurse sees him and asks,"What are you doing here?"

Rinaldo immediately starts acting like he has Alzheimer's.

"I don't know. I thought this was my room. Can you help me?"

The nurse takes Rinaldo back to his real room and the x-ray technician rolls in her equipment to take Mimi's x-rays.

"Whew! That was a close call. Thank God Rinaldo is smart and a good actor." Mimi breathed a sigh of relief and took a half hour nap before going to lunch in the community room.
