Retirement Community Part 5
Jack has a full schedule with all of the ladies he's met. He may need to start taking vitamins.
-Joe-
The next morning Jack walked over to the pool/hot tub building and found it empty. He planned on checking out the water aerobics, but it seemed to be too early, so he headed over to the gym and completed the 20-minute workout he had developed. This was the first time he completed his workout alone, maybe everyone slept in today.
After a light breakfast in the cafeteria he took a slow meandering stroll around the property. He didn't want to get into the water too soon after eating, even a very light meal.
An hour later he again approached the pool and this time he heard voices. He had the foresight to grab his swim trunks and a towel before heading over.
There were four women in the pool and none he had met before. They all looked up at him and the one closest to him said, "Hi, you're Jack aren't you?"
"Yep, that's me. I heard about this pool and thought I'd check it out." He said. The shallow pool only allowed the water to come up to a point just above the waist of those in the pool. All wore one-piece bathing suits.
Jack held up his trunks and asks, "Is there a place to change?"
A different woman answered, "There are no separate locker rooms, but only a small room over there. We don't mind sharing." She said giggling.
"Okay," he replied, "I'll be right back."
He stepped into the small room that was actually a bathroom with a couple of benches and no lockers. Four piles of clothes were on the benches. Jack removed his shoes, shirt, and shorts making a small pile in an unoccupied spot. He slipped into his trunks, grabbed his towel and stepped out toward the pool.
He entered the small pool and noticed it was warmer than most pools. "So, you ladies all seem to know me. I just moved in and haven't met many people yet."
Each of the women introduced themselves: Deb, Pat, Barb, and Liz.
"Hi all. Is there an instructor or leader for the aerobics class, or is it just self-directed? I'm hoping for someone to tell me what to do, because I've never done this before." Jack offered.
Apparently that was the right thing to say since all four women offered to help.
Deb, the woman who first spoke to him, commented that the water just supports the joints and you can do most of the same exercises you do at the gym such as jogging in place.
That comment brought giggles from all the women. Pat commented, "We hear that you have lots of experience with jogging in place."
Jack smiled," It seems that everyone has heard about all of my exploits. Yes, there is a rebounder in the gym and I have used it a couple of times with some welcomed assistance."
"They all laughed, Barb now spoke up, "We heard all about that welcomed assistance."
Liz responded to Barb, "You sound jealous, Barb."
Jack voiced his opinion again. "I accept the fact that I can not hide any of my activities no matter how discreet I try to be. I'm not sure if the women involved like to brag about bagging the new guy or there are just a bunch of voyeurs here. In either case I am still a relatively healthy man with a healthy libido. I'm not embarrassed about that, as a matter of fact I'm somewhat proud that at my age, I can still entice an attractive woman or two."
There followed a period of silence and reflection, until Deb spoke up. "We were not trying to make fun of you, Jack. We enjoy having a strong male around, at least most of us do. I know that you have already met some of the more outgoing women living here, but there are many of us who are not so forthright, but still would welcome the attention. After all Pat told you we would like to share the changing room with you." Deb smiled as she said the last.
Jack returned her smile, "I did not take that to mean we would share it together."
Deb blushed at that comment.
Jack continued, "I may be capable of sexual activity, but I'm not twenty any more, so what ever you may have heard about the multiple orgies is exaggerated. I have met a few people who enjoy closeness and a bit of play, but no one is swinging from the chandeliers. I must admit I do enjoy the hugs I've gotten here and the casual dress code."
Pat said, "We have had so few men here who actually come out to socialize that we have become remiss in the male/female hugging. I'd like to remedy that now if you don't mind."
"Not at all," Jack said as Pat approached him with open arms.
