I feel a great level of guilt about my actions in this story, however I enjoyed myself in the moment. I hope that by sharing this story it may save a family. I would like to apologize to any young women who trusted an older more mature family friend and was betrayed by them.
When I was younger my family was very close to another family in our church. My grandparents had 6 kids and 31 grandkids, I am the middle one, the special one. There is a 12 year gap between me and the other 15 younger grand kids, so I became known as baby, by my family. Grandpa Benson had 9 kids by 3 women. His first 2 wives died and his 3rd new very young wife was the talk of the church. They had 3 girls together and the youngest one was like a sister to me, but she was 12 years younger than me. I remember holding her the first time as a child. I watched her grow up into a tom boy, even taught her how to play football.
I was now 31 years old and she was 19, a gorgeous black young woman. She was no longer little D as we once called her, she had evolved into DD. A 6ft tall 167lbs perfectly toned young woman. She had hair down past her shoulders, green contacts that contrasted with her dark brown skin, and model features. She was strong and physically fit, but you could not mistake her feminine aura. It was also impressive to see a woman that thin with natural DD cup breast.
Her family was having problems, her mother was having an affair with a man from the church, while her father suffered through countless health problems. Her two older sisters were on drugs and most of the other children did not get along. They had conflict with each other because they were from different mothers. This family was broken in more ways than one.
DD was attending college in Florida and one day I got a call from my aunt Jessica. She was very close to me in age and was always more like a sister. She had left me a message asking me to call her, it was important. I feared the worst at first, I made sure I was in private when I called her.
"Hello auntie, I got your message...is all well," I tried not to be to negative but I was bracing myself for what she might say.
"Baby boy I am so glad to hear from you...you act like you cannot call us simple folks back home since you have gotten promoted and all," she was excited to talk to me and I always loved her country twang in her voice.
"You know I am never to big for my family...I love you all, but life can move so fast you know,"
She laughed with me and then began to express what was heavy on her heart, "You know the Benson family is not doing to well...Grandpa Benson is in the hospital, he had a second stroke...the sisters are in jail again...and DD is missing."
I was shocked, "What did you say...where was she last seen?"
My auntie explained, "She went down to Florida to attend college, but she withdrew from her classes a month ago and no one has heard from her because her phone was disconnected...we were wondering if you would go check on her?"
