Heidi stopped at the bathroom door, turned, smiled, put her arms over her head, and stretched. She smiled at Tim, who was watching her avidly, and said, "I thought you were going to take a shower with me."
Tim took great pleasure in watching her stretch. Had their earlier love-making not been so satisfying - or abundant, her gesture might have made them late r for their dinner reservation but, sated as he was, all he just laid there on the sofa, enjoying the visual delight of seeing her stretch. "I'll be there in a minute," he said.
He did get off the sofa and join Heidi in the bathroom. They showered together, teasing and touching. Their shower was a stimulating and sensual experience that was loving yet free of the intense sexuality that had characterized their behavior since they got to the condo.
While Heidi finished drying her hair and putting on her makeup in the bathroom, Tim went out into the bedroom and got dressed. He was sitting on the bed, tying his shoes, when Heidi emerged from the bathroom, wearing only a towel. She went to her bag, got out a pair of sheer lacy bikinis, then dropped the towel and stepped into them.
Tim gazed at her, startled and delighted by the incredible grace and poise with which she moved. Seeing her scantily clad body made his pulse quicken. Despite that, he remained on the bed, doing nothing more than enjoying the view.
Heidi went to the closet, got out a light peach-colored tank dress, and slipped it on. Tim thought the peach color looked fabulous on her. The dress buttoned all the way down the front and Heidi left the top few buttons open, exposing a considerable amount of her chest. "God, Heidi, you look incredible," he told her. "That dress is really pretty. I'm not sure I should take you out in public. Someone's liable to kidnap you and drag you off to be their love slave. And what with me being injured and all, I'm not sure I could stop them."
Heidi blushed and smiled. "I thought that's what I did to you," she said.
"Yeah, I hadn't thought about it like that, but I guess that's what you did, isn't it?" Tim admitted.
Their dinner in the base lodge was marvelous. The food was wonderful, the restaurant elegant and stylish. Both Heidi and Tim found it a quiet, welcome interlude in the time of unending passion they'd been sharing since they reached the condo.
As they walked out of the restaurant, they passed the entrance to the nightclub in the lodge. A band was playing.
"Want to go in for a drink and maybe some dancing?" Tim asked.
Heidi locked her arm in his, snuggled against him, kissed him on the cheek, and said, "Sure."
They spent a few hours listening to the music and dancing. Tim loved being with Heidi on the dance floor. She moved well and looked so lovely. He saw other men there watching her and giving him envious looks. The other women in the lounge didn't seem to think much of Heidi, although they kept looking at her. Tim couldn't blame them. He couldn't keep his eyes off her, either.
They were dancing a slow dance, pressed tightly against one another, moving to their own beat. Heidi kissed Tim softly on the ear and whispered, "Let's go back to our place."
"OK," he replied. He liked the sound of that. "Our place."
When the song ended, they left the lounge and walked back to their condo. Heidi gave Tim the key, he unlocked the door, and held it open for her as she walked inside.
"Get in bed," Heidi said when they were inside the condo, and the door was secure behind them. "I've got a surprise for you."
Tim couldn't imagine what kind of surprise she might have planned now. Basically, there had been one surprise after another, ever since he'd been in the hospital. The last one - the trip to the condo - was really something, so he was anxious to find out what wonders the next surprise held in store for him. He went into the master bedroom, stripped off his clothes, and slid under the covers. He propped up the pillows so he could watch Heidi.
She walked to her suitcase, took something out of it, then disappeared into the bathroom. "I'll be right with you," she yelled over her shoulder.
"Hurry!" Tim replied. He lay there in the bed, and could hear the rustle of clothing. Something was going on or, more precisely, coming off.
"Tim, turn off the lights," Heidi called from the bathroom.
