Rain drummed against her office window as Ava worked her way through the stack of reports she was going over. The day was dragging on, and she had been building up stress all week, especially given the lack of affection she was getting at home. The physical part of her marriage was all but dead, and she wasn't sure the weekend would change that.
All this was bad enough, but that wasn't even the worst part. Ava's mind drifted to the events of last weekend, going out dancing with her running partner Adam, and the passionate love making that had followed, that night and the next day. She had returned home later that day and made an excuse to get oblivious husband, Steve, although he barely seemed interested.
She felt her heart flutter a bit and her mind wandered to Adam's muscular, young body... Then stopped herself. It was hard enough to focus on this tedious task as it was. She felt a twinge of annoyance with him for being so distant since their encounter. He hasn't even committed to running this weekend, much less anything more exciting, she thought with frustration. She had texted him the day after, thanking him for the wonderful evening, but only received a delayed response. Later texts that week were similarly received. He mentioned something about being very busy, but nothing specific. He was driving her crazy, but she reminded herself it wasn't like she could have him every day; she was married after all. Besides, a guy like him could have other women, for all she knew. The very thought that some pretty young thing(s) would have the attentions of her young lover made her feel sick... She had to stop thinking about this.
She sent him a text midday asking about their running plans this weekend, but didn't hear back immediately.
The afternoon dragged on, with lower level employees trickling out of the office to start the weekend early. Ava had no reason to go, and things to finish. It was past 5 and the sun was getting low when her phone buzzed. It was Adam.
"Hey, I'm downtown, just got out of the last meeting we had here," then, "any chance I can say hi?"
She smiled and texted him the address of her building, "meet me in the lobby."
10 minutes later, she was escorting him past the security desk and toward the elevators. He was dressed in a dress shirt and pants, but no tie. He looked very handsome, as always. As they waited for an elevator, she looked him in the eyes and said, "I've missed you "
"Me too," he replied. Their elevator arrived and they stepped inside. It was empty as there were few people left at this time in the week.
The moment the doors closed, he pulled her into him and pressed his lips to hers. She slipped her hands around his neck, and returned the kiss, moaning softly.
He didn't let up, caressing and exploring with his hands, wrapped in a tight embrace until they reached their floor. They separated, and Ava breathlessly said "I needed that."
"You'll get more if you want," Adam replied with a grin.
Ava giggled and lead him to her office, telling him to sit in one of the guest chairs. She closed the door behind them.
"I was starting to wonder where you have been Mr." She said in mock accusation.
"There's been a lot going on this week, I've been distracted..."
"Sounds like an excuse, you really shouldn't keep your woman waiting..." She stared at him with a forced pout.
"I didn't mean to-"
"And I really like to dress up for my man; you didn't give me any heads up," she said.
"Perhaps I can make it up to you?"
"I can think of a few things," she smiled leaning back in her chair, spreading her legs.
Adam blushed and smiled, before getting up to cross the room. He stood between her legs, and was about to kneel down, when she said "strip," with a challenging look in her eye.
His initial surprise was replaced by acceptance of this challenge. He bent his knees and began moving his hips in a slow rhythm as he slowly unbuttoned his shirt. He looked deep into her eyes as he worked his way through the buttons. She was amused and aroused by his willingness to play along, and she felt herself anxious to see his chiseled physique.
