The party was in full swing. Because Julie had made a rare appearance Mona and Elijah had invited his bounty hunter partner Duane too. It wasn't so much that Julie was anti-social it was more that Julie was always working. Duane was in much the same boat as both were balancing early boxing careers with the demands of running down bail skips. As the last of the potato salad was scooped onto Adina's plate, Mona came to the realization of what was expected of her.
