I was feeling a bit mischievous and wanted to do a BTB. I have always had a story in the back of my mind where the wronged party gets their revenge on an entitled group of assholes. It did not include with super spy ware or ex-military, just things 'laying around the house' and regular people.
There is no explicit sex in this story. Sorry about that.
Walking into Kelly's Pub I see that I'm on time. It's after 8PM and I'm loaded for bear - my target crowd. I had agonized for a week in deciding what to do after I found out that Andy's wedding to Madison was officially set to be in six months. They have been living together for a couple of weeks. Matt was also now engaged to Ashley but no date has been set. The rest of my target crowd was my ex-fiancΓ©e Michael along with Alexis. She's the bimbo who was fucking him while he was engaged to me. The full crowd of six are somewhere in the back of this bar sucking down the beers in high form. A consistently loud and obnoxious group, bar management puts them into a back room. It says something when the sports fans complain about the noise. I glanced around the bar and slightly nodded to a group sitting quietly in a corner. Most of them acknowledged with nods of own. The others were looking at the baseball game. I confidently advanced toward the back rooms.
My main targets included the Three Musketeers. This group of three women are in their late 20s and friends of Michael, my ex. Maturity wise, they were really adolescent girls. My now-ex and I had been seeing each other exclusively for about 7 torrid months when I was finally introduced to this group at a 4th of July bar-b-que. Initially I was welcomed with open arms into their group. But within a week, I became disquieted. That's when I started to pay attention to everything and everybody. Several get-togethers later, my 'Spidey Sense' kicked into high gear. That's when I felt and saw Michael slowly pull away. The Musketeers combined forces and I didn't stand a chance. After all, it's all for one and one for all. It appeared that Michael didn't put up much of a fight either.
He and I've started fighting since the 4th and I realized that the relationship just was not worth it. Growing up in a house with two parents that shouldn't have gotten or stayed married had taught me quite a bit. I knew that he and I had problems, and seeing his eyes light up whenever Alexis walked into the room sealed the deal. I didn't have to see them in bed with each other because I smelled it on his clothing. I don't think that lavender, a staple fragrance of Alexis, was a go-to scent for Michael.
I don't go anyplace or be with anyone when I'm not wanted. It was 2 months ago that I met Michael and the group at the bar. After a few minutes, I pulled Michael into a private booth. He didn't even protest, or wish me well. At least it wasn't a good riddance. It was a relief when I walked away. My real friends celebrated with me. None of the people at the table were at my celebration. Seeing the group outside of the bar one day, Andy and Matt were honestly sad at me leaving and told me so. The bar crowd told me that the Three Musketeers couldn't contain their smirks. Alexis couldn't stop smiling for weeks. This was expected.
Now walking to the back rooms of the bar, I found my seated targets. I was going to make 6 people unhappy and hopefully two of them very very angry.
"Well, look at what the cat dragged in. Look, it's Hannah. Lost bitch?" Alexis laughed and the others snickered. She prided herself on being winning alpha and grabbed Michael's hand for me to see. She thought that she was showing dominance.
Pride goeth before the fall.
All eyes were on me. I practiced for this encounter and that gave me additional confidence. I just smiled back at them.
"I came to congratulate Andy and Matt on their engagements." Those two men smiled at me. They were pretty decent but vocally loud men that were unfortunately besotted with their partners. I approached these two and paid no attention to their partners. I saw that this pissed off all Three Musketeers. "I would like to give you two a gift." These two warmly smiled at me.
"I'd first like to share a few things with you, if you don't mind." I sat down between them and that really pissed off the musketeers even more. How dare I ignore them?
"First I'd like to tell you why I broke off the engagement with Michael. Him fucking Alexis while I was engaged to him was just a small part of the story. You see, I knew what kind of a marriage that I wanted. I wanted a partner that could be depended on, that I could trust. I wanted someone that I would love and support too. Michael was not that one. Is that the kind of marriage both of you want? Love and support? You and your partner holding together against the world?"
They looked faraway. They were giving my words much thought. All Three Musketeers' faces changed from angry to being concerned. Both of those men nodded yes to me. Alexis broke in "Can't you see we're having a good time. Get the fuck out of here." I ignored her and continued speaking with Andy and Matt. "I'd like to tell you a little bit about your partners." When Madison and Ashley started to get up from the table, both men forcefully told them to sit down.
"Matt, do you remember when your father was in the hospital?" He nodded yes. It was touch and go for weeks until his father turned the corner to the start of his long recovery. "Do you remember the support you got from this crowd?" I think that this may have been the first time he really thought about it. He couldn't ignore it this time.
He looked at his partner Ashley frowned. "Yea, not a hell of a lot as I start thinking about it." His normally pleasant demeanor was a thing of the past.
"Matt, I know that. When I was being frozen out by these two so Alexis could start fucking Michael, I started to put my phone on record when I was around these three. Want to hear what she repeatedly said?"
"No." His partner Ashley visibly relaxed. "You can just tell me now. I'll hear it later." Ashley immediately started to get up, but Matt held her hand and wouldn't let her even stand. There was panic in her face. Everybody else froze.
"You were so involved with your father's illness that sex was off the table." He nodded yes. "There were a few times where she initiated, and your body didn't respond." He nodded yes. There was much pain in his face, but it was not embarrassment. "When you weren't around to hear it, these four" and I pointed to the three Musketeers and Michael "would start making fun of you." Matt's fists clenched and Michael and the Musketeers looked away. "You didn't deserve any of it, but they had their fun. I could repeat what they said, but I'd rather not. I'm sending you the files on your phone." I pulled out my phone and hit send. Matt's phone dinged with a notification.
"Hannah? Is there anything more I should know? It appears that I've been out of the loop on many things."
"Matt, I've got more, but I'd like to talk to Andy now." Andy had grabbed Madison's hand as a preemptive measure. She wasn't even going to get a chance to bolt.
"We all know about your little sister Janice." He and Matt nodded yes while the other four sat still as if they were made of stone. I know that their hearts were. "We all know that she has a mild case of palsy. You've been your protector all through grammar and high school. You've even helped her after you went to college. I remember that after she graduated from college, you told us how you were able to set her up with a job interview for programming and helped her get the job. Do you want to hear what this crowd really thought of her?"
