Note -- This is the second edition of this story. The first had many mistakes and was difficult to read, so I want to thank all those who looked past them and encouraged me to continue writing. I want to thank my editor MrsIntJ. Without her hard work this new edition wouldn't have been possible. We hope you enjoy the rewrite.

This is my first submission on Literotica. I have to say writing gives you an appreciation for the hard work of a writer.
I welcome all comments. This story involves cheating, but the people in the story are not burned down. I love to read revenge stories. The are my typically my favorite reads but this is not a revenge story. I'm trying to write stories about how people might actually behave. Sometimes people are predictable, sometime they are not.
With your feedback I will try to find my way and maybe I'll write a few more stories.

It was a typical bright early summer morning in the Albuquerque area. Marla got up on this Thursday morning, put on her robe and headed to the kitchen. At 7am she knew Kurt has been been up for at least an hour and had already fed the horses and Ralph, their dog. As she got to the kitchen she saw Kurt reading the paper and drinking the strong black coffee he always enjoyed. He had made the morning pot and put her cup on the counter next to it. Kurt was a creature of habit and this day was like all the others.
"Good morning sweetie," he said with a smile. "How did you sleep?"
"Fine honey", as she sat down and took a drink of her coffee.
"We need hay so I will stop on my way home and grab ten bails."
"Make sure you get that good orchard grass/alfalfa mix. You know how much they like it," Marla said.
It was a typical predictable day at the Henderson's.
----*----
Kurt and Marla had been married for twenty-nine years and lived on a small five acre ranch just outside of Albuquerque. Kurt is a civil engineer for a company that mainly builds concrete bridges. A big guy at 6 foot 2 inches, he weighs 220. Still possessing a full head of hair that was dark when he first met Marla, is now mostly gray. Even with a belly that is slightly round, he is in good shape, mainly from his physical activity at work and around the ranch. Though intimidating to some, he was a big block of a man, but he is actually a gentle guy. He always had a smile and kind word for people.
Kurt had worked long hours early in his career. It helped him get established at the company and to get the Hendersons off to a solid start. Buying the ranch had been a stretch for them in those early years, but they managed their way through those lean times. The ranch had been the family homestead now for almost 25 years. When they first purchased the property it was mostly just a house on a big lot, but they made many improvements over the years. Besides the beautiful landscaping it now had a barn and stables, which kept their four horses warm, safe and dry.
Marla worked at an insurance company that focused on commercial insurance. When she started years ago, it was mainly a clerical position. However, her responsibilities had grown over the years and now she was making good money. When the kids were young her employer allowed her to work part-time. Kurt had told her she didn't have to work at all. She could stay at home and focus on the family and ranch but Marla enjoyed participating in the finances. Plus, it allowed her to indulge in her hobby of horse ownership and riding without putting a strain on their finances.
They raised three wonderful kids, two girls and a boy. The kids loved the ranch as well and shared Marla's love of riding. Now their kids were grown and out of the house. Their son and one of their daughters were married now and had children of their own. Their youngest, Emma, lived in Dallas and was currently in grad school. She was following in her dad's footsteps and studying engineering. She had a steady boyfriend. He was a nice boy but Marla wasn't sure Emma was serious about him.
Time will tell on that one, Marla thought.

"I'm glad you seem to be coming out of your funk," Kurt said. "I was worried about you there for a while, but you seemed to have perked up lately." Marla had been kind of depressed for a while, but it was something she couldn't talk to Kurt about.
What he doesn't know is that my depression was caused by losing my lover, Marla thought.
Marla had been cheating on Kurt for well over a year. She loved Kurt dearly and never wanted to hurt her marriage. In fact she felt that her affair had kept their marriage together. For the past five years Marla had felt an increasing need for sex. In previous years she could go days without having sexual thoughts. Maybe it was because of all the time and energy required to raise the kids, she wondered? But now that they were gone, sexual feelings filled her body.
Now that the kids were out of the house, Marla felt like live was passing her by.
She had spent a lot of time thinking about her sex life and comparing it to others. She had even asked a number of her girlfriends to tell her a little about their sex lives. It seemed that everyone was getting it more ofter and had more adventures in the bedroom.
So Marla got a boyfriend. Meeting Brian and having sex with him allowed her to feel a zest for life again. Life with Kurt was wonderful. They had everything they ever wanted, but their life was so predictable. Also, their sex life was so vanilla. Basically it was Kurt on top once a week. They just didn't have any adventure in their sex life, and Marla decided she needed more.
She had met Brian through work. He was an underwriter for a major insurance firm that her company wrote through. These insurance firms expected the underwriters to meet regularly with their clients. Marla and Brian actually knew each other for over 10 years and lunched together many times over the years. They kept it only professional, but two years ago they were both talking about how their marriages grew boring.
At Marla and Brian's next lunch, their conversation was more personal. Besides their mundane daily routines, sex with their spouses was just plain missionary, and was happening less often as time wore on.
"We schedule our sex," said Marla. "We have sex every Saturday evening. I know Kurt has needs, so I agreed to do it weekly, but he never makes me come." Marla was really enjoying the frank conversation about sex and appreciated she could talk to Brian this way.
After Marla and Brian's conversation about sex she started thinking maybe they could help each other. She began to look at Brian differently. He was a good looking guy, in his late-40s with a nice body. She decided to start flirting with him and see where it led. Brian did notice Marla's change in attitude and began to fantasize about her. He flirted back and soon they were both well aware where their relationship was headed.
"Brian, I have been thinking a lot about us, and I think we should spend an afternoon together. I think we both know how we can spice up our sex lives. Would you like that?"
Brian had thought a great deal about Marla. A beautiful woman in her mid-50s, she was about 5 foot 5 inches tall. Her dark hair began turning gray but the salt and pepper looked great on her, especially with her green eyes. Her body was fantastic. She didn't have any excess weight on her with nice B-sized breasts. Brian figured she must keep in shape with all of her outdoor activities and horse riding.
Brian's wife was about 30 pounds overweight and he felt it hampered their sex life. He loved his wife dearly but they didn't have much of a sex life. Brian figured Marla would be lively in bed. It sounded like she wanted to experiment and Brian thought about those things his wife would never do. Maybe he could get Marla to be a little kinky?
"Oh yes, Marla. I would love to spend the afternoon with you. "I've got a credit card my wife doesn't know about. I'll get us a room, and we can have some private time. We don't have to do anything you don't want to do, but at least we can be alone for a time."
