Please note; this short story starts a little dark, but soon gets into the swing of things!
The Woman in the Woods.
Mark saw a young woman up ahead on the bench. He watched as his dog ran up and started playing with hers. As he got closer, he could see the woman was staring straight ahead, totally ignoring the boisterous young dogs in front of her.
As he approached he said 'Morning' in a cheerful way, but was disappointed to get no acknowledgement at all.
As he walked on he thought; ten years ago I might have said something stupid to her like; 'cheer up, it might never happen'. But he knew only too well there were many reasons today for people to have low mood or be disconnected.
The next day, she was there again, staring into the distance.
"Morning", he stopped in front of her and then went to sit down.
"You don't mind do you?" He added.
She looked at him like he'd just beamed down from outer space. She shook her head slightly and went back looking forwards.
They sat there in silence for probably a minute, but it felt much longer... Mark watched on as the dogs chased each other around.
"They seem to get on well." He said.
The woman then went to get up. He stayed sitting and spoke;
"I'm sorry if I disturbed you."
She looked at him again.
"Oh, don't worry about me - no one else does."
And with that left hanging there she called her dog and she started walking off.
Mark called to her;
"I'll be here tomorrow, if you want to talk."
She stopped, and then slowly turned around. Mark got up and walked over to her.
"What are you a shrink or something?" She said scoffing.
"No, it's just I know from bitter experience, it's sometimes better if you've got someone to talk to. Have you someone?"
He just saw her eyes go slightly glassy before she abruptly turned on her heel and stomped off. Well that went well he said to himself, well done Mark.
He didn't see her the next day; even though he made sure he kept his timing spot on. He suddenly felt terrible that he may have disturbed this woman's routine with his interfering.
As he headed up the track towards the bench the next day he was relieved to see her sitting there. This time though, she looked at him as he approached.
"I'm sorry I interfered the other day". He said before the woman had a chance to say anything.
"I'm sorry", the woman said before adding; "I'm in a world of my own at the moment."
Mark sat down beside her.
"Are you lonely?"
"Oh, yes." She replied with conviction.
"I know I'm a stranger, but I'd like to help, if I can." He then put a hand on her knee.
She looked down and saw his wedding ring.
"You're just like all the rest." She said.
He realised what she'd implied.
"No, no, please it's not like that." And he took his hand away. After a short pause he laughed then spoke;
"I'm very fortunate that my wife and I are very happy together. It's just we have from time to time shared our marital bed with someone else."
"Good god, I didn't think people actually did that."
"Behind closed doors and all that."
"Do you do it with other men or women, if you don't mind me asking?"
"Always women, my wife is bisexual, and no, I don't mind you asking."
--------------------------------------
Mark and Lily were getting ready for bed that night.
"I've met a woman in the woods."
"Oh yeah?" She said smiling.
"She's very pretty, and very lonely".
"Describe her." She said climbing into bed beside him.
Mark turned on his side to face her.
"Oh, I reckon she's 30, maybe 33max. She has her dark brown hair in a bob, and she does this cute thing with her fringe. She's always in her tight black legging that show off her pert bottom perfectly. I would say her breasts were similar in size to yours, but it's difficult with her jacket and all that. Oh, and she's got freckles.
"I like freckles, are you saying you think she might be a play thing?"
Mark started stroking up her thigh;
"I'm working on her".
"Why not take her up to our tree?"
"That's a great idea, although I might need a note from you; to convince her that my intentions are entirely dishonourable."
They both laughed and then snuggled in close...
"Did you go on that story website I suggested last night?"
"I might have." She said straight faced.
They both watched as their dogs tried to run off with the same stick.
"I've been talking to my wife about you."
"And why would you do that?" Lily said with a knowing smile.
He stood and held out a hand to her.
"Trust me."
She got up and grasped his hand. Mark then proceeded to scrabble up the bank behind the bench. She started laughing but kept a tight hold of his hand. Together they made their way though the trees and undergrowth, their dogs eagerly following. Eventually the ground levelled off and he led her to a small clearing. There stood a large oak tree. He guided her around until she was leaning with her back against the tree.
"This is one of me and my wife's favourite places."
"And she won't mind you being here with me?"
"It was her idea."
"What do you do when you get here with her?"
"Oh, you know. We like to pretend we're teenagers again, and we start kissing."
"And then what happens?"
"Well, usually I then start to try and put my hand up her jumper, but she'll push my hand away. Eventually she'll relent and I can start feeling her tits through her bra."
"Go on."
Mark leant in really close to her and rested a hand above her head.
"Then, I'll be really turned on, so I'll start groping her bottom hard. She will invariably call me a bad man, but won't stop me."
"It might be better if you were to show me while you talk me though it."
Mark dipped his head and kissed her. She responded by grabbing him and pulling him to her. They kissed for a long time before Mark started undoing her jacket. He then immediately went in and felt her chest. She did nothing to stop him. He then worked a hand up her top and firmly squeezed each breast. He then started on her bottom. He thought it felt even better in his hands than he'd imagined. Lily was moaning now and trying to rub against his leg.
"Mark - touch me."
