My name is Nicole this is the story of the craziest thing I've done thus far. Most people who know me would not believe the story I am about to tell. In fact I have actually lived a pretty boring life up until now. I pretty much did what was expected of me... went to school, got good grades, and never got in trouble. Most people who knew me growing up would say I was a very quiet girl.
I was still a virgin when I graduated from college. I would have a lot of guys compliment me on my 'cute' face all the time but no one ever really made a move on me, it was always one of my well-shaped-in-all-the-right-places females friends that got the guy. I guess my slender body (no ass), pale skin (half Hispanic), and b cup size breasts were not the things of sexual fantasies.
Fresh out of college I went to go work at large financial firm down in Miami where I met my future husband Carlos. He was the first guy I met that made me feel extremely sexy. Things moved pretty quickly once we started dating. Before I knew it we were meeting each other's parents and going on vacations together. He proposed to me in less than a year and we were married 6 months after that.
I lost my virginity to Carlos on our wedding night. I still remember how scary and painful that first night was. I guess I really had no measure of comparison, but he really seemed pleased afterwards and I made me feel good to be doing 'it' right. The thing I really enjoyed about sex was just being close to him and knowing that he really appreciated my body.
A couple of years later, the company was hiring fresh recruits from college and I was chosen to interview one of the candidates. I was very nervous about this because I never really interviewed anyone before and I'm not sure what I should be looking for. I'm walking to the interview room scanning over the candidates resume...
"Kwame Brown.....Masters in Computer Science from MIT....MCPD certified....Strong C++ skills"
The guy sounded pretty solid on paper.
When I walked into the room I realized that I wasn't just impressed with his resume. Standing by the desk with a steel gray suit on, was a tall black man, with a slim athletic build smiling confidently at me.
"Hello, nice to meet you" he says to me. From his accent he sounded as if he had a mixture of an African and British Accent. "Nice to meet you too" I say trying to sound confident "Please sit down."
I started off the interview asking him where he was from and I found out that he was originally from Ghana and grew up in London. He came to the states to complete his Masters and was very interested in moving to and areas with 'more favorable weather conditions' as he put it.
After he was done, I mainly gave him an overview of the position role, which was a mixture of IT/Software support, and we went over some of the qualification listed on his resume. For some reason I felt at ease talking with him and I soon forgot about my nervousness. Towards the end of the interview I ask him if he had any questions for me.
"Yes, if I was your friend would you recommend this position to me?" I smile because the inside joke in the workplace is that anybody who takes a job in the IT department usually will hate their life within a few months due to the insane work hours. I decide to respond measurably. "Well the job security for this position is very high, and they are always looking for qualified people in this group."
"I see." he smiles devilishly back at me as if he has read through my lines of bullshit, but was respectful in not calling me out on it "Well, I was never one to back away from a challenge!"
