This my first story and I hope it will be liked. I have a sequel that I am writing now and will post it if all goes well. All comments, suggestions and criticisms are welcome. Even anonymous naysayers most of whom lack both the courageous and/or the imagination to post here. At least I am trying.
A very special thanks to csmoss46 for her editing of this story. Without her help this would be a pile of unintelligble drivel.

Before I retired I was a compliance examiner and did travel 3 weeks a month and it was grueling.
About two years ago I discovered my wife was a whore, a slut and a two bit cunt. Did I mention I found out she was cheating on me anywhere from three to five times a week and sometimes even more often than that. Not only that, it was with a myriad of men. Most of who were very politically connected. Why didn't I leave her when I first found out you may ask. In a single word it was "money" lots and lots of money.
Allow me to start at the beginning. My name is Mike Hammond and I first met Stella Marshall when I was a senior in college and she was a sophomore. I was majoring in finance with a minor in business administration. Stella's major was political science with a minor in liberal arts.
I can't tell you what attracted her to me because at that time I was relatively apolitical and had almost no respect for liberal arts students. I thought liberal arts studies were a waste of time. Without meaning any disrespect to anybody I still kind of do.
I was introduced to Stella at a frat party and bumped into her a few days later in the school cafeteria during lunch. We wound up sitting together and we enjoyed a few laughs. I teased her about liberal arts. She laughingly called me a capitalist pig for my finance and business admin studies. We had very similar senses of humor and were both able to laugh at ourselves so we hit it off pretty well. After about three months we agreed to be exclusive.
A month after that she called me on a Friday to cancel our Saturday night date. She had started her period and normally had pretty bad cramps the first two days. I told her I hoped she would feel better soon and would look forward to seeing her for lunch Thursday and we signed off. My Roommate told me he was going to a frat party that night and as he had no date either I was welcome to go with him. Having nothing else going on I agreed to go.
We arrived late because of a flat tire and no spare. I was very surprised and pretty hurt as well to see Stella there with some guy I didn't know. To say they were dirty dancing would have been an understatement. It was more like they were dry humping on the floor and one of them was going to orgasm at any moment.
I told my roomy I couldn't stay and started my long walk home. I don't think she ever saw me. Wednesday night I saw her again making out with another guy in a bar. Needless to say I was done and never contacted her again.
About three weeks later she caught up with me in the cafeteria and asked why I had stopped calling. I simply told her I didn't run with a herd and had been under the impression we were exclusive. She feigned ignorance and claimed she did not know what I was talking about. I then told her I had seen her at the frat party with someone else.
She explained that her cramps were not as bad as she had expected and her sorority sister asked if she would accompany her brother to the party as she and her boyfriend wanted to go and he did not wish to go alone. Stella said she agreed to go because she had nothing else going on. She never did explain why they were dancing so intimately even though I asked about it twice.
I then told her I had seen her in a bar Wednesday night with another guy and she quickly said he was an ex boyfriend she had broken up with a year earlier. She said she was surprised to see him but agreed to have a few drinks with him.
He told her he had taken the break up pretty badly and as they drank more and more both started feeling sorry for one another and one thing led to another but that nothing more than light petting had occurred. I told her I would consider her explanations but decided I did not want to pursue our relationship any further.
Three years later I was now working for a mid-sized regional broker/dealer in the operations department when I ran into her again at an NASD office where I was instructed to attend a compliance meeting. She was working as a receptionist. She immediately apologized to me for her immature behavior three years earlier and appeared very contrite.
At that time she admitted she had lied about the party and explained she really was not having bad cramps and had agreed to go to the party with her roommate and met the boy there. She did however stick to her story about the ex boyfriend in the bar.
We always got along very well when we were dating so I asked her if she would join me for dinner that night. She readily agreed and after a wonderful dinner we hit another club for some dancing. During that dinner she told me that she had always been interested in politics and volunteered for various political campaigns during elections.
Needless to say it was not long before we were dating again like we had never stopped and agreed to be exclusive again. This time I was very adamant that I would not tolerate violating our exclusivity a second time and if she wanted to see someone else all she had to do was tell me.
A few weeks after that discussion I asked her to move into my condo and she agreed. The sex was unbelievable, I loved to go down on her and she would scream like a banshee as she came on my tongue then she would beg me to fuck her hard and fast. She would suck my cock willingly but would not allow me to come in her mouth forget about swallowing. She said it was disgusting and a total turn off for her.
She also let me know anal was a deal breaker. As erotic as cumming in a woman's mouth sounded to me I had never done it and anal had never appealed to me either so I was okay with her parameters. She was willing to try most other positions but told me she really preferred missionary so that is what we did for the most part throughout the marriage.
We continued to live together for about two years and were so much in love that I proposed marriage. By this time I adored her and felt she loved me equally as much. We married in 1984 and since neither of us had much money we could only afford to honeymoon in Niagara Falls for five days. Yes, people still do honeymoon there and we met several other newlywed couples that we occasionally socialized with.
When we were married about two years I was offered a promotion to compliance examiner. It would mean a fairly significant pay increase but would require travelling to our branch offices all around the country about two weeks a month. We also had branches around American military bases throughout Europe that I would be required to visit three or four times a year. I had mixed feelings about taking the position, while we really needed the money, partly because Stella really enjoyed spending money, being gone ten days every month would be grueling and difficult for a newlywed couple.
We discussed it in depth for about a week. We agreed that being gone two weeks a month would be tough on both of us but the rewards were also enticing. The salary increase would be great but I would also have an expense account of about $3000 a month and we would save on food and entertainment when I was gone.
I would keep all frequent flyer miles and hotel and rental car award points. Finally while I remained reluctant Stella convinced me to take the position. When I went someplace sexy like New York, Washington or Hawaii she would come along, using my award miles. She would also come to Europe with me about once a year and we would always spend a weekend in cities like Paris, London or Rome.
Since I first got my job with the brokerage firm I enjoyed dabbling in the stock market and since we didn't have much money I only played around minimally but I did pretty well with what we had. Stella agreed that I could put half our savings into the market and half into a savings account.
At this time Stella made it clear to me that she was incapable of understanding finance at any level. She entrusted me with all aspects of our finances including paying bills, balancing the checkbook, filing tax returns establishing budgets and any other financial matters that came up. I had built our stock portfolio up to nearly $30,000.
In August and September I began getting very nervous about the stock market. In late September I decided to get out of the market entirely. Then I did something completely out of character for me. I put all of my money into an S&P put due to expire in mid November. For the uninitiated these are called futures and if you think the market is going higher you buy calls and if you think it is going lower you buy puts.
On October 1 the S&P was trading just under 2400 and by November 2 it had fallen to just over 1500. By the time the dust settled I had earned about $960,000 after taxes. Stella did not understand what I had done but we were beside ourselves with joy.
Did I mention Stella liked to spend money? By the end of 1988 we had gone through nearly $800,000 of our windfall. I say we because I just could not say no to Stella. We bought a $400,000 home a Cadillac Allante, jewelry, a name brand wardrobe, a minivan, brand new furniture and on and on and on. I loved her so I pretty much let her spend our money any way she chose.
