Body Guards for the rich and famous
Rich Saw a grenade rolling toward his client.
He dove to cover it. The grenade did not explode, but Rich's heroism was exposed. Someone took a picture of it, and it made all the papers.
From then on, his office was loaded with calls.picture of it and it made all the papers.
From then on his office was loaded with calls.
Rich and Jo grew up together. They both studied martial arts at the same training center, Rich was black. Jo was white. They attended the same college and got romantically involved.
Rich was a very handsome man. He also was charming. Jo was one of the prettiest girls on campus. They realized they would get constantly hit on. They promised each other loyalty above all else. They both knew what it was like to be popular but did not know if the people around them really cared about them, so it was great to have someone you know you could count on...or so he thought.
They first met on their first day at karate school, they were paired off. Both loved the action. They were to compete against each other until they graduated high school eleven years later. During those years, both were attracted to each other but knew how dangerous it was to go out with a different race. That was part of the fun, they both taught each other things that would have never known before. It was exhilarating.
They both decided to attend the same community college. Rich had chosen criminal law courses. Nancy picked business courses. They often ran into each other on campus. Finally, at a fraternity social, they danced together. For Rich, this was a terrific opportunity. He always carried a crush. Nancy was the prettiest woman he ever met and one of the brightest. He was thrilled beyond belief. Nancy was just as excited. There was electricity in the air it was setting off fireworks. She crushed her breast into his chest. She never felt this close to any other male. It was exciting. She knew he was the one. He was all she would ever want. He had everything: a fantastic body, a handsome face, and an adorable mustache. They started dating and married after they both graduated with associate degrees.
Since they were both strong in martial arts and wanted their businesses, they selected owning a bodyguard shop. There were two types of places they could own. One was a shop where you could use guards to stop crowds from bothering celebrities when they were in public. The other was for severe cases where a person's life was in danger and required close protection.
They chose to work in close protection. The business started slowly, but as their reputation grew, so did their work. Nancy was excellent at organizing all the paperwork connected to the shop. Richie talked to the customers and set up procedures for their protection. They usually both worked an active case. This was one of the happier times in their marriage, oh things were so simple for a while. Trouble was about to walk into their lives and his name was Wally Fox.
Rich had a client coming in today. The person was a folk-singing celebrity with quite a reputation with the ladies. Nancy was one of his biggest fans. Richie trusted Nancy, but he needed more clarification with this guy. The guy's name was Wally Fox. His nickname was Big Cocks. He was always in the gossip columns for messing with another stars wife. He was tall, had wavy blonde hair, and was very attractive. He could talk the panties off of Sister Theresa.
When he walked into the office, Rick immediately regretted agreeing to meet him. Wally started the conversation by telling Rich about his latest conquest. She happened to be the wife of a local mafia boss--not his most brilliant move. Word got out that the boss was irritated.
Wally was scheduled to attend a charity event and felt he should have protection. At first, Rich refused. He knew that Gino, the boss, was vicious. He usually accomplished what he wanted to. Wally promised to pay double what Rich typically charged, which persuaded Rich to accept the case.
Richard made unique plans for that night. He expected trouble, and he prepared for it. Someone would check everyone coming through the doors for weapons. The background of all the hired help would be researched. He hired extra men to circulate in the audience.
Rich took a spot twenty feet from Wally. Nancy was supposed to be circulating. He watched as she walked over to Wally and started talking to him. This was a "no-no". None of the guards was supposed to speak to the celebrity. He immediately ran over to Wally. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a gun in the hand of one of the servers. He changed course and ran at the server. A shot rang out, catching Rich in the shoulder. He still tackled the assailant. His men went to his assistance, and they held him until the cops arrived.
The EMS took Rich to the hospital. He had a flesh wound, after hours in the emergency room he patched up. Nancy and Wally came to see him. Wally wanted Nancy to guard him the rest of the week. Rich strongly objected. He saw the way that Wally was looking at his wife and he did not like it all. Nancy said she would do it even if Rich objected. She left with Wally. This was a Saturday night. The doctors said he could be released on Tuesday. He asked them to say he would be released on Wednesday. Nancy came early on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
Tuesday afternoon, Rich was released. He went straight to Wally's house. He asked for his wife and was led to a swimming pool. She was in a tiny bikini. No gun was in sight, and neither was Wally. The housekeeper said Wally was in his trophy room. When they arrived, all that was present were his prizes for his singing.
The housekeeper said he must be in his other trophy room. This room held pictures of all his conquests and his desk where he did his paperwork. This room was off this trophy room. Rich opened the door.
Wally was hanging from a chandelier. Many pictures of pretty women were on the walls, including the last one hanging, a picture of Rich's wife, Nancy. It really hurt him to see his wife up there on that wall, it felt like his heart was shattering into a million pieces.
The housekeeper called the police. They were allowed to leave after two hours of questioning.
Rich never said a word to Nancy. She knew that he never would again. He would never accept or forgive what she had done. What happened to us always being together? Our loyalty to each other? She knew her relationship with Wally was something that he hated from the bottom of his stomach yet there she was at the house betraying her.
