Yet she remains gracious and does not complain about it. What really sets her apart, however, is her commitment to family. For K, relationships mean everything to her, especially her husband, T. Much shared history has developed a bond deeply rooted first in trust and friendship. K not only regards T as her partner but, more significantly, as her best friend with whom she can share everything--literally: all her deepest thoughts, dreams, and fears. However, once the routine caught on in everyday life, K started missing the adventure and excitement that their relationship was all about and thus feels a gap between the two amidst all this mundanity.

In particular, she is especially mean to her sister-in-law, K, her husband's younger sister, as she doesn't want his family to grow close to them; this distance allows her to manipulate situations and ensure her own priorities always come first. But this self-centeredness isolates her, creating a chasm between her and those she claims to cherish.
