Our new next door neighbor wife had left him for working too much, she said. He did construction and we were remodeling a couple room in the house. On weekends he seemed eager to help. After finishing up one Saturday we had heard about a band at an outside bar. The kids were with my mother in law, not back until tomorrow. We decided to clean up and head on out there. About 15 minutes later you could hear the buzzer on the dryer, I stood up to head that way and she marched right by me the same way telling me she would get them. Taken back I looked at Ray and he stared at me neither knowing really what to do. About ten minutes late she came out and said she was ready. We both told her she looked good, she said lets get going.
We went to get into the truck and she slide in to get in the middle as she has been and we went on out to the bar. Once there we all got a drink and went outside to the field behind where the band was about to start. As the night went on drinks flowing we were all having a good time. I pulled to the far end of the parking lot and walked over to the store. Got her candy bar and headed back toward the truck thankfully both were sitting up. As I was pulling thru the parking lot, a few cars pulled in, then a truck, as I sat there I heard them beep their horn a few times. I got home as soon as I could but I could hear him grunting just before the driveway.
As I parked, she leaned up off him, gave him a kiss the first one I had seen. She told him we all needed to get in the house and have another drink. I know I needed one now. Headed to the kitchen and we all got another drink. Ray started to apologize and Lynn stopped him told him he had nothing to apologize about. Finishing our drinks she announced that Ray had something popping out for her, grabbed his hand and took him off to the bedroom. We all slept well I guess, It was almost noon waking up as my mother in law had returned with the kids. Thankfully, they went straight to their rooms. I ran to shut the bedroom door real quick, completely embarrassed, as she spoke up and said we should watch what we leave on the dash of the truck. Blushing I told her yes mam. She told me to have Lynn call her when she finally makes it up. Acknowledging, I was pleased she was leaving. I told the kids to keep the noise down and hang out in their rooms or outside because mommy was still sleeping.
I went to the room and both were on the bed naked. I shrugged their shoulders telling them the kids were home. Ray searched around and inquired about his pants. I reminded them it was in the truck. I would go get them. as he got up and went into the bathroom.
