This is the second part of my story. Jeff's wife had just spent the night with her boss Brad, claiming she needed more sex than Jeff could give her because of the medication he was on that affected his libido. While Alicia left with Brad her boss, Jeff used the Bourbon that Brad brought to get completely passed out drunk.
------------------------------------------
THE MORNING AFTER
The sun shining in between the living room curtains started to make Jeff stir. As he tried to open his eyes and remember how he came to be sitting in his recliner, he noticed a few things. First, he was covered by a blanket that he knew was kept in the top of the hall closet, he knew he didn't get it down so someone else covered him. Next, he smelled bacon coming from the Kitchen.
As he blinked trying to bring everything into focus, he noticed the glass of water and aspirin sitting on the end table beside him. With his head banging like a drum, he picked up the aspirin and swallowed them along with the whole glass of water. It was still cool, so it hadn't been sitting there long.
The clock said it was almost 11:00 am as he got up and looked at his phone.
He had three messages from Alicia from the night before and one this morning.
JUST GOT TO THE RESTAURANT. I LOVE YOU AND WILL SEE YOU TOMORROW.
HAD A GREAT DINNER AND HEADED TO THE HOTEL. I LOVE YOU.
I HOPE YOU ARE OKAY SINCE I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM YOU. PLEASE TRY TO UNDERSTAND. I REALLY DO LOVE YOU AND EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY TOMORROW, YOU WILL SEE.
The last one was at 9:30 am
JUST FINISHING UP AT THE HOTEL. I'LL BE HOME SOON AND WE CAN TALK. I LOVE YOU.
Jeff pondered the messages. She did keep him updated and didn't rub his nose in it, although letting him know she was heading to the hotel with Brad would have been devastating to see at the time. He was also pretty sure what "Finishing up" meant. He just sighed and steadied himself for the argument to come.
However, he was a little shocked when he stumbled into the Kitchen. Alicia was cooking a big breakfast and noticed him standing there watching her. She smiled at him, wearing a pair of leggings and an old t-shirt. Even with no makeup, she still looked amazing.
"Well good morning sleepy head." She said gleefully.
Jeff was confused, was he dreaming? Was last night a terrible dream brought on by his imagination? As he glanced over to the Kitchen counter, he noticed the half empty bottle of Old Forester that her lover, Brad, had brought him. So no, this was no dream. He was living a nightmare. However, Alicia was acting as his loving wife, just like she always had.
"It looked like you had a hard night, I'm sorry about that. But I'm hoping it will be like ripping off a band aid and won't be as bad in the future." She smiled with a look of both anticipation and hope of acceptance.
"In the future? I thought you said that we would talk about it today and if I wasn't happy then you wouldn't do it again."
The stunned look on Alicia's face said it all. She never had any intention of stopping it and was just saying it to placate him before she left.
"I'm sorry you are right. I did say that, but after last night I realized this is exactly what I have to have in order for us to be the loving couple that we always have been."
Jeff wasn't in the mood to get into this, so he just rolled his eyes as Alicia spoke determined to talk about her affair like it was just a normal conversation.
"Whatever. Tell me again how I'm supposed to be happy about you leaving me in my misery to go fuck your boss!" He said the last part a little too loud and winced with the pain in his head.
Alicia walked over and rubbed his arm looking into his eyes. She thought, at least he hasn't slapped me or left so I guess that's a good thing.
She softly spoke. "Please don't be like this Jeff. Like I tried to explain last night, not very well I'll admit, this is outside of us. I will do everything in my power to not hurt you. I want you involved as much as you want to be. But I just can't go on with us as it was. It isn't fair to me, and this is the only option that I see that allows us to stay together and give me what I need. I love you and want to grow old together with you. This won't be forever, just until I either don't need it or hopefully when you come off your medication and things change in your pants."
Jeff just looked at her. She was really pushing and blaming him for her sexual needs. While he agreed and was disappointed in himself and his body for its reaction to the medication, this shouldn't give her the freedom to go and set this up without even discussing it with me. He just stood there stoic in his own thoughts.
"Jeff, talk to me. Tell me what you are feeling. I need this but I certainly don't want to lose you."
"Don't you think that might already be too late?"
She gasped and put her hands over her mouth. "You can't mean that. We had sex with other people in the past. This is no different."
"It is different because I wasn't involved. Not in the planning, not in how it would happen and certainly not even consulted. I was just told what was happening. Not to mention you spent time talking to your boss about our sex life. You basically gave him access to your panties and said, 'do what you want, my husband doesn't matter.'"
Alicia suddenly lit up with anger. "I NEVER said that you don't matter. I'm sorry that I didn't include you in the planning and you are right, I should have talked to you about it. But that ship has sailed. But let's be honest, did this really hurt you?"
Jeff's eyes were as big as saucers as he realized that she wasn't remorseful at all.
Alicia then took to the offensive. "Oh yes, it hurt your ego and for that I'm so sorry. But I wasn't going to cheat on you behind your back. I have too much respect for you." She rolled her eyes and waved her hand dismissingly. "Oh, I know you are going to say this whole thing was disrespectful and in a way it was. But if you think about it, I told you ahead of time, I was discreet, and we went out of town to a hotel where no one would know us. He even brought you a bottle of bourbon as a piece offering. I know that this was difficult, but by the time you woke up, your loving wife was back here fixing you breakfast no worse than when she left. I was showered and clean with no trace of anything from last night."
