Mrs Mary J Stevens Part 1
Mary woke up a couple of minutes before her alarm clock was set for 7am. She climbed out of bed glancing at her sleeping husband beside her. Jim Stevens wouldn't wake up till 7.30. Mary stripped off her nightie and showered in the en-suite of their 4 bedroom detached house in the English midlands. She dried off, dressed in a simple top and pants set and went downstairs to prepare breakfast for the family. On her way down she woke Jane, her 15 year old daughter and Gerald her 13 year old son. The kids groaned and Mary had to shout at them both to get them moving.
Once downstairs she pulled fruit juice, cereal, eggs and bacon from the fridge and put bread in the toaster. She set the kitchen table for breakfast and almost as soon as the first eggs were fried, Gerald appeared followed a few minutes later by Jane. The kids chattered about their school day to come while Mary checked they had the correct books and sports kit in their school bags and to remind them about their after school clubs. About 8.10am Jim clattered down the stairs, kissed Mary and sat down for breakfast as the 2 kids grabbed school bags and coats and rushed out the back door looking for their bikes to cycle off to school. Jim hurriedly stuffed eggs and bacon into his mouth while looking for his briefcase. He had an important presentation to make today to his area manager concerning the future of his engineering plant later in the morning. He swigged his fruit juice, took a mouthful of black coffee, kissed Mary again and rushed out the front door to his BMW and the drive to the factory.
It was just past 8.30 and Mary looked at the bomb site that was her kitchen. She spent a while clearing up the mess, putting things away and loading the dishwasher. She wiped down the work surfaces swept the floor and went upstairs to change.
Looking through her wardrobe she chose a mid-length grey skirt and a white long sleeved blouse and a black cardigan. She put on tan tights and a pair of low healed black shoes and went down stairs. Looking round the house to check all was well she took her coat from the coat stand by the front door, checked her house and car keys were in her handbag along with her purse and left the house to drive her Vauxhall Corsa the 15 minutes to work.
Mary worked for herself from a small 2 bedroom flat in a small 5 story block on the other side of town. She parked up in her usual place and walked the 50 meters to the door taking the lift (elevator for you American folks) to the third floor and let herself in. She checked her diary to confirm her first appointment was at 10 pm, made sure that everything needed for the day ahead was where it needed to be. She then went to change into her working clothes. Stripping off and placing her clothes carefully away in the wardrobe, she chose a white stockings and suspender set, a pair of white silk French nickers and a quarter cup bra that exposed the nipples of her 44D breasts. A sheer blouse that was effectively transparent and a very short skirt that showed off her stocking tops and a pair of 4 inch patent leather heeled shoes finished off the outfit. She checked her look in the full length mirror angled so that it showed her king sized bed, and waited for the doorbell to ring.
Yes, you've guessed it, Mrs Mary Stevens, member of the school Parent Teacher Association, and the local Woman's Institute, regular member of the Church Choir and one of the 4 ladies who arranged the flowers in the church, was in fact a whore! A harlot, a strumpet, a loose woman, a tart, cum-slut, prostitute and half a hundred other names for ladies of her profession, she had heard them all during her long and varied career, and she answered to all of them.
She controlled when and how she worked very strictly. Her first appointment was always at 10am or later. She would only have 4 clients a day and she would leave the apartment at 5pm or as soon as possible thereafter. She charged Β£200 per hour with a reduction per hour for longer bookings. She had a loyal following of 50 men and didn't need to advertise.
Now and then somebody stopped visiting her, but another of her regulars was always able to recommend a replacement. She was careful to keep correct accounts of her activities. She paid taxes and deposited her earnings in a private bank account that was well separated from the Stevens family finances. She made sure she stayed well inside the law in all respects. Her clients were respectful and discrete, and that worked both ways as it kept her activities very low key and avoided disputes with the others who occupied the block of flats. It also kept the privacy and security of her clients, most of whom had "positions" in the local community and whose reputation (and generally marriages) would be at significant risk had their activities become known.
