As Friday approached, life went on normally, except for the knowing glances we shared. Our excitement and anticipation was obvious. We'd catch one another standing quietly, paused for no particular reason, then snapping back to reality when the the other spoke.
We were both imagining, planning and day-dreaming. We'd done this before, but that was the first time; a time with more unknowns, and fears. Three lives changed dramatically that weekend. And we were fortunate things turned out the way they did. Envy, possession and jealousy were subdued. Mike and I quickly understood each other, and decided that Jane's pleasure came first.
But, this weekend would likely be different. Even after what we'd experienced, there were some insecurities, and hidden doubts. Jane and talked about it.
'Are you ready for the weekend? I asked.
'Yeah.'
'Anything wrong?'
'No. I don't think so. But.. I'm nervous.'
'I guess I am, too. A little.'
"I mean, I'm excited! But, I wonder how things will be between us.'
'You and me?'
'What? Are you worried?'
'Not yet. I hope when you said "between us", you meant between "you and Mike."'
'I course I did. If you're worried, we'll call the whole thing off! I don't need him. You're all I need.'
'That's good to know.'
We stood for a minute, and hugged each other. Then I spoke, 'So, to be clear... same as before, I want you to have all the love and pleasure you can handle. You're an incredible woman! Sexy! Attractive! Passionate! I am so grateful to have you with me, as my wife, and lover.
I love looking at you when we're making love. It turns me on like mad. And, there's no doubt, it turned me on when you and Mike were together. I know you enjoyed it! On top of that, I loved it when Mike and I... rocked your world!'
'Yeah... that was pretty amazing!'
'Fucking amazing! You want that again, don't you!'
'Is it wrong that I do?'
'No, no, and no. How could any woman resist? How can you resist?
I didn't know what was gonna happen that first time, but wow, it was great! Wasn't it?'
'Yes! Absolutely!... I guess... I'm just a little worried... maybe he won't feel the same about me.'
I had to hold back a laugh. I managed it, but it wasn't easy. Instead I smiled,
'Well, you're probably right.'
She looked panicked, 'Really?'
'Comparing how Mike felt about you, the last time he came to visit, and how he feels now... well, I can guarantee he doesn't feel the same. Before, you were just an old friend he'd known most of his life. But... after the last visit, he found out he didn't know you at all. He left here, in love with you... in lust with you! He's a changed man. Now he knows the incredibly passonate, sexy woman you are! He envys me. He told me I was the luckiest man alive!
So, calm yourself. He wants you! Badly! Don't forget the Skype call... and what you got him to do. He doesn't strike me as the kinda guy that'll do that for just anybody.'
'So, you think it'll all be okay?'
'I know I'll be fine, even though things will be different from before. But you don't need to worry about him. It'll be all he can do to stop from jumping your bones as soon as he walks through the door!
Remember, Goddess, Mike and I adore you. You'll be able to do whatever you want, and have us do whatever you want. I'm looking forward to it... and you should too!'
We arrived at our cottage early Friday night, excited and filled with anticipation. Jane was particularly anxious. She was darting around the place, making an effort to be sure everything was the way she wanted it. It was like she was waiting for him to pick her up for their first date.
Personally, I thought the place looked great. We never leave it looking messy, and she wasn't really changing much; just touching, adjusting and confirming. I knew that we could meet him in the shed, and it wouldn't change a thing. They both wanted each other. And I wanted to share her, and watch her.
After assuring herself the place looked good, she stopped in the kitchen, hands on hips, and breathed a sigh of relief,
'Okay, everything's good here. I'm gonna get ready.'
I handed her a glass of wine, and said,
'You look great now, beautiful!'
'Thanks, but I need to change.'
I could have asked why, said "what for", "don't bother", but I knew what I said, or thought, wouldn't matter. She needed to do things to feel comfortable; and also calm her nerves.
Mike arrived earlier than expected. He must've left work early. No doubt anxious to arrive and enjoy Jane's company. I welcomed him in and showed him to his room while he surveyed the cottage for a glimpse of Jane.
'So, where's our Goddess hiding?'
'Getting ready. Like a drink?'
'Sure. Whatever's going. What's she getting ready for? Are we going somewhere?'
As I mixed a couple of Black Russians, I gave him a look,
'She's not getting ready to go anywhere. She's getting ready for you!'
'Me?'
I handed him a drink as he sat on the sofa, and I sat to his left in a chair,
'Com' on, Mike! You're special, and she's excited!'
'Wow, that's nice... I never thought about it.'
'She's doing the same thing she did the last time you visited. Running around, burning off nervous energy. She wants things to be perfect.'
'Well, little does she know... as far as I'm concerned... she's... well... already perfect!'
'I agree, and be sure to tell her later. But, it wouldn't be wise to rush her, so we might as well wait. So, how're things?'
Mike sighed, I gotta tell ya, your invite couldn't've come at a better time. Work's been... stressful.'
'I'm pretty sure Jane's gonna release any stress you've got. So what's goin' on?'
Another long deep sigh,
'One of my team members is going through some deep depression, and it's affecting morale, as well as productivity. The big bosses need him; he's a key player in the whole operation... and guess who they want to solve the problem?'
'You, of course.'
As he started to speak, we heard Jane,
'Baby, does this look okay?'
'I called out towards the kitchen,
'I'm in here, gorgeous! An... we got company!'
She was quiet for a moment, and then walked forward, and stood in the archway to our living room.
Mike and I stood up. He smiled and spoke, almost with a sigh in his voice,
'Hello, Jane.'
She gave a shy look and smiled back,
'Hi, Mike.'
'You look more beautiful than I remember... if that's even possible.'
She walked over to him, in a black-knit strapless dress that hugged every curve of her delicious body, stopping mid-thigh, exposing nylon covered legs with black high heels. Her long, luxurious brunette hair fell behind her nude shoulders, showing off a pearl choker necklace gently caressing her neck. She gave him a hug and kissed his cheek,
'Why.. thank you, Mike. You always know how to flatter me.'
As she sat at the other end of the sofa, Mike returned to his seat. It all struck me as very formal; like they had just been introduced at a cocktail party. She glanced at me, with an expectant look,
'Beautiful, Jane. You look fantastic! Would you like a drink?'
'I'd love another glass of wine...'
'Comin' right up!'
As I went to the kitchen for her wine, I thought about her demeanor. She was sitting at the end of the sofa, close to the edge. Back straight, legs crossed, hands in her lap; the epitome of a well behaved society woman. Not that she was ever perceived as anything less, but I thought she'd be more relaxed, and ready to play. I'd had visions of her attacking him, ripping his clothes off and having her way with him, but I could see things would be much more sophisticated at the start.
I could here them chatting about current events and work related topics; quite a change from their Skype call a few days earlier. It sort of reassured me, that if we were out on the town together, they could easily act normal.
I returned and handed her wine and sat down. From my chair, I could watch her and Mike interact. She sipped her wine gracefully as the conversation continued. Mike was explaining his stressful work issues and she showed her genuine concern. He had turned toward her, holding his drink in one hand and gesturing with the other. Jane had shifted her body to face him directly, resting one arm on the back of the sofa while listening attentively. After he vented his frustrations, he lowered his gaze and sighed,
'Geez, I didn't mean to throw all this at you.'
'That's okay! We all need to vent sometimes. It's good to share things, isn't it, hon?'
I didn't answer. There was an obvious double entendre, but I just let it hang there while I grabbed their glasses to refresh their drinks. As I walked past Jane, she let out a relaxed sigh and smiled at Mike. Turning into the kitchen, I saw Mike smiling back affectionately. Seemed that any perceived anxiety was quickly dissipating.
I took my time with the drinks and listened to them as they relaxed,
'Well, Mike, you certainly sound like you needed a break. Hopefully, you'll feel much better when you head back.'
'Oh, Jane. I started feeling better the moment you entered the room. Just seeing you lifts my spirits!'
'The feeling's mutual, lover. I've missed you.'
'Nice of you to say. I've missed you too! I expected to see you when I came through the door...'
'Sorry, I was still getting ready.'
'Oh no, don't apologize. You were definitely worth the wait! I love your dress... It suits you... and your body only enhances it!'
'I'm glad you like it... I chose it for you...'
'Ahh... really?'
'Of course! I want to keep my lover... umm... interested!'
'I probably shouldn't say this; it may deprive me of future alluring attire. But, I doubt my interest in you will ever diminish!'
'Good! Cause I want our lifestyle to continue indefinitely!'
I returned with their drinks, grabbed mine to refill and headed for the kitchen,
'Honey, can you put some music on?'
'Sure baby, I got it.'
