"Oo. What do you think of
him?
" she asks her husband.
"Not much. He's winning the tournament, which is a good thing, I guess. Why?"
"Oh, I dunno. He appeals to me."
"Really, dear? Like you can do something about it? He's just a guy on TV."
Joel and Melinda are watching this weekend's golf tournament. The gentleman at the top of the leader board caught her attention.
He challenges her, "What is it you find so appealing? He doesn't have movie star looks or anything like that. Just an average guy. He does appear to be tall, however."
"It's his relaxed bearing. His confident stride. It's like he knows exactly what he's doing, and knows the expected outcome."
"Might it have something to do with the second place guy developing a case of nerves? Oops. That putt lipped out. Third place now."
"I have a thought. Tour's going to be
here
in two weeks. What do you think about getting tickets?"
"Really? Since when were you that interested in
golf?
It's relaxing to watch on TV and everything, but
in person?
"
"Just a feeling. I'd like to meet 'im. Zero chance of that if we don't go."
"Whatever, Mel. I'll get on the PGA site and order a pair. Okay?"
"Okay! Thanks! Saturday if you can."

Following the hand signals of the parking area attendants, Joel pulls their car onto the grassy field that's been set aside for guest parking, and finds a spot. He gets out of the car and sprints to Melinda's door to open it for her.
He shakes his head. "Dear? I know it's a beautiful day, but did you
really
have to wear
that
sundress? It's pretty short." She turns in the seat to step out. "Oh shit, Mel!
No panties?
You kiddin' me?"
"
I told you
that guy interested me. Can't catch anything if you don't bait the hook."
