I've been chastised by the literotica admins. Apparently, they are not happy that I've been a member for over two years and have yet to submit my own version of the George Anderson 'February Sucks' story.
I've read lots of really good (and otherwise) follow on stories and I've tried to do something a little different here.
Hopefully you have read George's original '
February Sucks
' story. If so, then you will recognize where this version picks up the story.
So, here is my humble contribution to the 'February Sucks' legacy.
"Jim? Jim, I'm home." Linda did her best to sound like she always did when she came home from running errands. She went through the motions of closing the front door and turning on a light.
She felt like nothing had changed and she was sure she looked exactly the same as that night.
"It's still just me, the same old me as always. There's nothing different; nothing has changed. My love for you is just the same as it was yesterday."
Linda saw Jim standing across the room with his arms crossed, tapping his foot impatiently and with a peeved expression on his face. She heard Jim respond, "Well that's not true. You have been a naughty girl, haven't you, Linda"
"Jim, honey, ..."
"Now don't 'Jim, honey' me. Admit it. You behaved very badly last night, didn't you."
"I'm sorry Jim, I never meant to hurt you."
"Was it everything you expected?"
"Jim, I know you have questions. I know we need to talk, and I'll tell you whatever you want to know, honestly and completely. But are you sure you want to know... that? I'll tell you honestly, but I don't want to hurt you."
She saw Jim grinning as he walking towards her, "Now, now, Linda. Don't you worry about hurting me. It was just one night. After all, what's the worst that scoundrel LaValliere could have done?"
Linda smiled. "I know, but I'm afraid that telling you what happened will hurt our marriage. Can't we concentrate on the future? We can't let just one night ruin our whole lives."
Linda saw Jim relax, smile and heard him say, "Our marriage, what we've built together over almost ten years, is far stronger, and more beautiful, than what one night could break. Our love is built to weather storms and last a lifetime."
Linda threw her arms up in joy. "Oh, thank you Jim. I know I need to make it up to you, and I will, whatever it takes. But above all, I know you love me enough that eventually, you'll get past your hurt and we'll be fine."
She felt Jim hug her and saw him look lovingly into her eyes saying, "Oh Linda, you are the love of my life. I could never stay mad at you."
At that moment, Linda heard the stereo playing the last slow song she and Marc LaValliere had danced to before she left with him. She looked questioningly at Jim as he smiled and said, "Yes, I need to reclaim my wife and that starts by reclaiming this song as our own."
"Oh Jim, thank you! You've made me the happiest woman in the world."
And with that, Linda started turning slowly as she danced in Jim's arms.

The young orderly assistant walked into the security room, set a cup of coffee down on his desk and looked up at the row of monitors. He watched the pretty woman in the white hospital gown for a few minutes. He chuckled and shook his head as he observed her twirling around with her arms held out as if she was holding someone.
"So, what's the deal with the lady in Room 6?"
The older ward attendant glanced up from his paper to see what the assistant was looking at.
"Oh, that's Linda. I suppose, being new to the area, you haven't heard about her sad story."
"No, I haven't. Has she been here long?"
"Not really. Only a couple of months. But she goes through these exact same hallucination every morning right about this time."
"So, what's her story. What brought on her psychosis?"
The attendant sighs, "It was in all the papers and especially social media. She was married to an apparently great guy named Jim who she had two good kids with. They went out with some friends last February for what was supposed to be a special evening. At some point, she danced several slow dances with a local sports legend named Marc LaValliere ....
"Ya, I've heard of him. Wasn't there some news about him getting in trouble recently?"
"Ya, I'll get to that in a moment. Anyway, without telling her husband, she just up and left with this LaValliere guy intending to spend the night with him."
"You're shitting me! She just dances a couple of songs with a 'sports hero' then dumps her husband in the club without a word so she could run off and fuck some guy she'd never met before?!?"
"Yep, she apparently thought her husband would forgive her for having 'just' a one night adventure."
"What a bitch! I'm assuming the husband divorced her. Maybe he disappeared with all their money and the kids and that's why she went insane and is locked up in a psychiatric hospital?"
"Not exactly. When her husband, Jim, was informed by a so-called friend of what was happening, he hurried to leave the club to stop her. Two of LaValliere's buddies tried to stop him. He kicked one of them in the balls but the other one grabbed him by his jacket collar and punched Jim in the face. Although bloodied, Jim managed to slide out of his jacket and make it out the door."
"Wow, so he was able to stop her before she drove off with LaValliere?"
"No. By the time he got out of the building, LaValliere and Linda were already pulling out of the parking lot in LaValliere"s Lamborghini. Even worse, Linda apparently was not wasting any time and was already bent over sucking on LaValliere's cock."
