"Courtesan" is romantic story about a dominant hot wife and her submissive cuckold husband. While they have a deep and abiding love for each other they do lead an alternative lifestyle. If this subject matter offends you or makes you feel uncomfortable, I strongly suggest that you find something else to read.

"Mind if I sit next to you?"
I turned. A cute little brunette was smiling at me. She appeared to be about five feet two inches tall and couldn't have weighed more than a hundred pounds. At first glance she looked like a teenager, but when I looked into her eyes I saw a wisdom there that told me that she had to be in her mid twenties."
I shrugged. "Help yourself."
As soon as she sat down I turned back to my Coke. Even though she was gorgeous, I wasn't the least bit interested in meeting a strange girl in a bar.
The bartender walked over to her and asked, "What can I get you?"
"Timmy is that a Diet Coke?"
Without thinking I nodded and answered, "Yes it is."
"I'll have the same thing."
She opened her purse and took out a ten dollar bill. As she set it on the bar I realized that she'd just said my name. I turned. "How do you know who I am?"
She smiled at me. "Timmy I feel like I know you very very well. Kelly has spent hours talking about you and now that I'm finally getting to meet you I have to admit that you're even cuter than she said you were."
Extending her hand, she said; "I'm Mandy Wells. I work with your wife. I'm another hostess."
I shook her hand. "It's nice to meet you Mandy."
We smiled at each other for a moment and then I asked, "How did you find me?"
"John, your Lincoln driver sensed something was wrong. He followed you. When he saw you go into this bar he called Janet Collins. She told Mr. Jackson that you were here."
I shrugged. "I'm surprised. I didn't think he'd care."
Mandy shook her head. "Oh you're very wrong about that. The moment they realized that you'd left his office both Kelly and Mr. Jackson went into a panic. They ran after you, but by the time they got into the alcove the elevator door was already closed. Kelly started crying. She's still desperately afraid that she's going to lose you. Mr. Jackson took her to Tonya Lewis's office to try to calm her down."
"Keisha, Antoine and I all heard Kelly crying and ran into Tonya's office to see what was wrong. Your wife was sitting on the couch. Tonya had her arm around her shoulders trying to comfort her. Kelly was sobbing. While she was crying she kept telling Tonya over and over; I ignored him. All I had to do was smile, but I didn't. I just ignored him."
"And when she wasn't telling her that she was saying; I promised him that I would never neglect him again and then I did it. I was such a fool. I'm sure I've lost him forever."
"Timmy she feels awful about what happened."
Slowly nodding, I said; "So do I"
Mandy gently rubbed the back of my hand with her fingertips. "Martin was on the telephone with Janet Collins. She was telling him where you were. I heard him tell her to call Wendell Tyler and ask him to join us in Tonya's office."
The bartender brought Mandy's Diet Coke. She took a sip and then she continued. "Kelly pulled herself together for a moment and took out her cell phone. She told us that she had to call you and try to apologize. She sounded desperate. When you didn't answer she put her cell phone away and burst into tears again. As soon as he was finished talking to Janet Collins Mr. Jackson tried to call you from Tonya's desk phone, but you didn't answer his call either. A moment later Mr. Tyler arrived."
Mandy looked at me. "Mr. Jackson told us about the meeting. Kelly is sure that you left because she was ignoring you. Mr. Jackson feels like he was too rough on you."
She squeezed my hand. "Timmy; Tonya, Keisha, Antoine and I got so excited when we heard about your plan to buy a house for all of us that we could barely pay attention to anything else that was said. You really are the most wonderful man in the entire world. We have to find a way to resolve this misunderstanding."
I smiled sheepishly. "I'd like to find a way out of it too."
"Mr. Jackson, Mr. Tyler and Tonya discussed the situation and decided that they should send me to talk to you."
"Why you? I mean it was a good choice. You're doing a very nice job of calming me down, but we've never met."
"Because I'm a submissive just like you are. They thought I'd be the one who was most able to understand how you're feeling."
I chuckled. "They're smart people."
Mandy nodded. "Yes they are and they're also very nice. Mr. Jackson can sometimes be so dominant that he gets a little scary, but I know him. I understand how kind he really is. He'd do anything for me. All I'd have to do is ask him."
She giggled. "I did make them send me some back up." She turned and looked behind us. "He's standing by the door right now."
I turned. It was Wendell Tyler.
Mandy waved him over. He immediately joined us. The bar stool on the other side of me was open. As he sat down Mandy asked, "Sir we're having Diet Cokes. Would you like one?"
Mr. Tyler laughed. "Mandy honey, I think I can handle the real thing."
It was possible that this wizened old man weighed less than Mandy.
Mandy waved to the bartender. When she got his attention she yelled, "One real Coke." And pointed at Wendell. The bartender nodded.
Mr. Tyler patted my back. "Timmy things got a little confused this morning. They didn't turn out the way anyone had planned. Let me begin by apologizing for my partner. Martin uses his time very efficiently. Sometimes that quality makes him appear to be abrupt. He is also a master at planning and making preparations. It's one of the main reasons that he's such a successful businessman."
He smiled. "Unfortunately those skills at times can mislead him. I think that this morning was one of those situations. You know of course that over the past year your wife has turned you into a legend at JTandR. Martin and I both love Kelly and since Kelly so obviously loves you we both also have to love you."
Mr. Tyler laughed. "I understand it really isn't rational, but it is the truth."
I smiled at him.
He smiled back and continued. "Martin is an enthusiastic dominant. When Chris Kendrick's told him about the dinner party at your house, he was very eager to engage in a scene with you and Kelly. Of course he now realizes that he should have taken some time to discuss it with you first. Regrettably, this was a situation where my partners preoccupation with efficient use of time became a weakness. It also didn't help that the submissive he generally plays with trusts him implicitly." He nodded towards Mandy.
She smiled. "Martin is always very verbally aggressive when we play. Because I trust him so much we're both able to relax and completely let go of our inhibitions."
Wendell sighed. "Because Martin and Kelly are so close and because he likes you so much, Martin falsely assumed that the same relationship of trust existed between the two of you. That of course just wasn't true"
Mandy grabbed my hand. "In Kelly's case her lack of attention to you was completely inadvertent. You may have noticed that Martin has a very strong personality."
I chuckled, "Yes, it's hard to miss it."
"That strong personality makes him a very demanding lover. He requires his partner's total attention." She smiled. "That characteristic also makes him a very exciting lover. I understand that Kelly did tell you that she's been having sex with Martin for almost a year?"
"Yes she did."
"I hope you can understand how easy it was for her to fall into an old habit."
I smiled. "Of course I can."
Wendell rubbed my shoulder. "Timmy, I understand that none of this really excuses either Martin or Kelly's behavior. I just hope that our explanations might help you understand that it was never their intention to hurt or ignore you this morning."
I nodded. "I understand. Actually I think I overreacted." I paused for a moment and then I quietly added, "There's also another reason I got upset."
Mandy squeezed my hand. "What was that Timmy?"
"Kelly works for a prominent investment firm. She earns a six figure salary, drives a prestigious car, wears expensive clothing and travels constantly. I, on the other hand, barely earn the minimum wage editing advertising copy for a shopper's weekly that hardly anyone reads. When Kelly and I separated I had to take a part time job as a clerk at a convenience store so that I could actually support myself."
I shook my head. "I'm not making much progress on the book I'm trying to write and frankly I don't think the part that I've completed is very good."
I glanced at Mandy and then over at Wendell. "I'm sure by now both of you have heard how Kelly grew increasingly distant from me over the past year."
