Intro: The development business is expanding fast and good trustworthy people to progress the various projects are thin on the ground. David finds himself in the awful position of having to involve his ex-wife and involves Jill to help tie up the deals that his team has pulled together whilst he moves on to new opportunities. Meanwhile his team continue to enjoy their adventures in the west coast states while those at home are overworked and wondering when he'll come back.

In Texas, Jill had arrived at the house to be greeted by Susan, "Hi there, welcome, they only just rang me to say you were coming."

"Does Olivia know?"

"I don't know, she's out at the moment and I have the baby."

"I understand, do you know where she is? I am anxious to catch up with her as quickly as possible then send you on your way to your next challenge."

Susan shook her head not knowing, and then thought "I could check with the taxi company to see where they took her."

"Would you mind, I'd appreciate it."

A few minutes later she had an address and before long was handing it to another driver who nodded understanding.

"What is that place?" Jill asked.

"If I'm right it's one of the big houses on 'Knob Hill' as we call it locally," replied the driver.

"OK then let's go take a look"

They pulled up outside and it was as described, the curtains were closed and she supposed one could read something into that. Jill wasn't about to sit outside for an unknown period so she pulled out her phone and rang her. There was no answer, so she wound down her window and listened. After a moment's concentration she was sure she could hear a phone ringing, so she cut the call to note that the ring would stop at the same time, she was not disappointed. "Whatever it is, must be good," she said under her breath.

"Ma'am," the driver said, " it's not my business but would you like me to take a look around?"

"Yes please but be prepared with a story if someone sees you."

"I'll tell the truth, I have been sent to pick her up." Jill liked the wry humour and gave her assent.

What he found out back was a bunch of guys sitting around a table drinking beer, he waited a while and another joined them with a wry look that said, "You try!" and another guy got up and left. He decided to watch a while longer not wishing to disappoint his passenger with part information, then he heard a loud swear word followed by, "Not yet, can't any of you get me over the top?" It was time to report back.

Jill immediately realised that this was what David had been describing to her so she dialled her number again, letting it ring as long as it would allow her, then she dialled again and again until a man answered, "What do you want, she's busy, fuck off."

"If you value your life man you will put her on the phone pronto." Perhaps it was her tone, she didn't know but the phone went quiet for a while and then, "Who is it?" a female voice answered. "I am Jill, I have come to take over from you and if you don't want your antics to get back to David you better get your arse outside double quick."

"Or what?"

"You know what, stop wasting your time and get out here before it's too late, you know better."

Some long minutes later Jill had given up hope and said, "Turn around driver" and he swung around to head back the way they came. As they stopped to join traffic the driver said, "A woman came out of the house."

"Reverse back a way and see if she wants to run to us. If not we'll go, I have waited long enough." Olivia couldn't run, she had only one shoe on, the other in her hand, in the end she took that off too. Jill moved over to make space but didn't open the door for her; she didn't think she deserved courtesy.

"Who the fuck are you interrupting my fun?" was her opening salvo.

"I'd say right now that I was your last chance."

"So you thought you would burst into my private life."

"Nope, I simply tried to telephone you, not just once but many times and you didn't answer."

"Soo! I was busy."

"Yes, too busy to take a call if your baby was sick, too busy for the office to contact you with something urgent, it's not the first call that matters, it's the third or the fourth that any normal person would realise was something important."

"Who are you to come here telling me what's important?"

"I am here on David's instructions, he wanted me to tie up the land fast and get things moving, then head to California, supposedly with you if you seemed trustworthy."

Olivia just glared at her.

"I'm sorry I interrupted you wasting your time, where can I find the notes on the current situation?"

Olivia was trying to think. 'This wasn't right she had been so careful these few days she had been here. What was she to do, her nether regions ached with soreness and dissatisfaction, the woman was right damn her. It had been a waste of time but she had to keep trying, surely David couldn't be the only one, her head couldn't make the logic work for her.'

Jill was a little worried, Olivia could cause all kinds of problems if she wasn't careful, she needed David's help to get her off and bring her back to some kind of sanity but at the same time knew she couldn't call him on it, the plane ride had been magnificent and she wanted it again and again. There was nothing for it but to bite the bullet and go with the flow.

"So what do you want to do? I am happy to let you do what you want to do as long as you let me get on with my job," she offered.

"And if I don't?"

"You really must be close to insanity," was all Jill could utter and those words had more effect than anything else.

Arriving at the home Olivia jumped out and rushed in without her whilst Jill followed at a more sedate pace. Inside Olivia had rushed upstairs so Jill took the opportunity to speak to the nurse. "I want you to be ready at a moment's notice to be out of here, you and the babe. Susan looked at her wildly not knowing who this woman was that was giving such orders. "It's Ok, I want you to check with David privately, my name is Jill and he has sent me to appraise the situation as well as finish up the project here." Susan looked pleased to be able to get a second opinion and nodded agreement before starting a message on her phone.

The flight to New Hampshire is a long one and gives David time to look at his messages again. Susan was the easiest to deal with; he told her if Jill said to go it was imperative that she did so.

Jill's message was advisory really although there was an implied question about sending Olivia on to California. He decided to reply that if she was co-operative with the handover, then send her to California with the nurse, he didn't have anyone else right now and she is to follow as soon as she can. He would leave it to her discretion whether to send the nurse and baby back to Baltimore. His other messages were business and seemed easy after dealing with the Olivia question.

He decided to go and speak to Honor, "What's your plan after we arrive in New Hampshire?"

"Just to await further instructions from you, I have all I need here on the plane at least short term," and she indicated an area between the cockpit and the main cabin.

"I am thinking of sending you to Baltimore to visit the Retreat there, when we are on the east side of the country you can hole up there and I will soon have a house on the west coast you will be able to use. I'm sure you have accommodation in Florida" she nodded her assent with a slight smile. "So that should take care of your immediate needs when we are shunting you around. Apart from making you aware of the Baltimore site and the people there, I will be arranging for you to pick up some of my people and fly them out, by the time you have done that we should be ready to be collected. Have you ever signed the confidentiality documents?"

"No, what are they?"

He explained and she signed, then continuing, David said "Now I can tell you about where we have sites in progress, we have targets all over the country and I will fill you in as we go. I don't know how you feel staying on this plane for more than a day or two; I am not even sure whether you are legally allowed to do so. So I will give you information of places you can stay as and when we have something set up and I will arrange for a room for you at the same hotel when we are staying in a new neighbourhood. Does that sound acceptable?"

"It sounds good to me, I will need to update you on the terms of my employment when I have the documents handy but I don't see any likely issues. What should I call you, Mr Thurlow, David or Sir?"

"David is fine, Mr Thurlow is for business and Sir is for the bedroom," he grinned, it had been his attempt to break the ice. She responded by saying, "I'm sorry about running my mouth off yesterday, I had no right."

"It's forgotten, my ladies have already put me straight on a few things. You might get a visit from Elle at some point; she wants to know whether we flew at a mile high or not." They both grinned at that.

"I don't know what Rose told you about her set up but we have a rule that nobody gets categorised about their sexuality and there are no long term monogamous relationships within the main house. There's a lot to learn but I'm sure it will be easy for you."

She raised an eyebrow, "Ohh?"

"I think I'll let you find out when you're there, or you can ask Ana."

A slight look of disappointment crossed her face, so he relented a little and described some of what went on at weekends, in particular Sundays when he was there. He noticed a slight red spot to her cheeks as he described their antics, so as there was lots of time, he carried on. Not wishing to give the wrong impression he balanced it by saying that it was unlikely to be a house meeting when he wasn't there, but there would be business meetings on weekdays. "Some people run away with the idea that it's one big fun palace when in reality it's just like any home. Everyone mucks in and during down time they do things that everyone else does, the thing is that as individuals they are not alone, there's always someone for support but there's also space enough for being alone."

"Do all the women contribute in some way?"

"Pretty much, sometimes it takes a while but thus far everyone has found their niche."

"May I ask David if the ladies with you are all from the Retreat?"

"No, just one, we four are on our own adventure, we make a fantastic team and so far have cracked some really difficult cases enjoying life at the same time."

She raised a doubting eyebrow.

"Doubt all you may but be careful what you say around them."

She wondered about that but decided not to push it.

"Ok I'll leave you in peace, can I use a phone?"

"You shouldn't but it's just us and I'll keep an eye on things until you're finished."

He wandered back to the dining area to make his calls and found the ladies in conversation so took one of the comfy chairs further back. He managed to contact Jane who was happy to hear from him, so they chatted generally for a while about her and the children and the other mums. They he described what he had in mind but before he got far she asked, "Go back a step, you have a plane?"

"Yep, complete with all mod cons and a bed."

"Ohh my! Things are really moving fast."

"Well yes generally, but the plane belongs to the family, Rose has given me free use of it including a pilot, who incidentally might interest Lauren. Tell her I'm sending her a present but it's up to her whether she takes off the wrapping."

"I see, you think she has a preference for the better sex?"

"She said as much, she may be Jo's type too; hell I think she's up for the orgy if her pink cheeks are anything to go by."

"Come home soon, we miss our Sundays together."

"As soon as I've decided about this New Hampshire site I'll be back like a shot. So who do you think could go out West? I am going to send Jill there next to tie up the deals and Olivia with her to finalise the outline design drawings if she doesn't wreck everything beforehand of course."

"Is it more a case of who we need out there, I think that's how we have to think, if they need cover we will have to find someone and quickly."

"I like your thinking; you will make a good chairman of the board one day!"

"She laughed at that, I am not sure about being a chairman, maybe a chairwoman sitting on your lap."

"I love your thinking again."

"Lauren's not far from where I am sitting, and I can tell she's been listening," Jane whispered. "Send me a picture of that pilot."

"Will do, on my way."

In the cockpit he said, "Would you mind if I sent the Retreat some pictures of you?"

She thought for a moment and he thought she would ask why but instead she said, "Do you want a business photo or a wet dream photo?"

He grinned, "What do you think they would like?"

"Probably a striptease but I'm not sure about that. Hold on one second."

He watched her set some instruments or some such as he had no idea what any of the controls were for and out of the blue a little ambition sprung to his mind, he'd really like to be able to pilot himself. As she worked he sprung the question on her.

"What would it cost in time and money for me to learn how to fly?" She finished what she was doing and turned to him.

"Are you thinking of taking my job?"

"Nooo far from it, I have enough to do just trying to stop my ex-wife from killing herself or running off with the baby."

She eyed him sceptically for a moment. "I will check out the latest rules, I am more than qualified."

"Would you like to teach me to fly?"

"Why not?"

"I don't know, maybe you don't like men so you would rather not teach me."

"I didn't say I don't like men."

"You implied it."

"Did I? You mean my welcome for your lovely ladies."

"No, I have lots of ladies who enjoy both sexes. But it was also what you have said at other times. For example, I think my Grandmother prefers the company of women and you implied that you enjoyed her attention."

"Ahh I see, well I guess I should say that I do enjoy women but I am not against men."

"OK then, so what do you think about teaching me to fly?"

"Let me think about it, I don't mind teaching you perhaps in a smaller plane, but it is not money that I need, we shall see, I will consider."

"That's fine, so let's get those photographs done, Jane is waiting," and at that he raised his phone to show her Jane's photo on his phone, she must have been listening to every word and had a huge smile on her face."

Somehow Honor felt she should redeem herself as she felt slightly out of her depth with this man, so she gave him a good range of photo poses to send on to Baltimore Retreat. He put his earphones on to hear the reaction at the other end and he was sure there were appreciative noises. 'Wet dream indeed,' he thought to himself. The others must have gotten wind of something going on because the cockpit was suddenly very full and more than one was offering to help her out of her clothes. He wasn't about to stop them. "Shall I introduce you and Elle to Baltimore?" he asked, but they were too busy sidling up to Honor to help her undress and she wasn't exactly fighting them off.

"Who are those hotties?" a voice in his ear asked and he laughed imagining Sophia in her Miranda life being called a hottie.

"They are part of the team that took California by storm," he typed back.

"Ohh really! I bet!" came back.

"Have a guess what they do?"

"Wouldn't have a clue."

He typed "If I said one was a Judge and the others a marketing executive would you still call them hotties?"

"Your teasing."

"Nope."

"We want to play with them," Jo says, "bring them home."

"I'll try after we are finished in NH," he typed. "And Ana needs to come back too, she has decisions to make."

"I can imagine."

By now Sophia, Ana and Elle had Honor down to her Bra and Panties and she looked absolutely delighted by the attention. David suggested "I think you guys should move to the bed." Almost by surprise they turned to register his existence and then nodded. He picked Honor up in his arms. She looked a trifle worried as he carried her, followed by the others. He slid her onto the bed and the others moved around him to carry on where they left off, he decided to leave them to it; they would let him know if he was needed.

As he turned to go, Ana caught him and moved close looking in his eyes, "Are you OK my love?"

"More than ok special one, you know where I am, enjoy her, I think she's into female's big style." She looked closely into his eyes, checking that what he said was how he felt.

He suggested, "Maybe I will look in on you in a while?"

"I'd like that and I am sure Sophia and Elle would too, I think they are both in love with you and I am jealous."

"I think maybe they are in love with you too little one. We are a team aren't we?"

She nodded trying to reassure herself so he took her in his arms and gave her the sweetest kiss that he could.

"Now go give her a good time, I think she is jealous as hell at what we have been up to while she flies the plane, we'll have to find out what her kink is so that we can thank her properly on flights." he suggested and she grinned, "Leave it to us."

When they left the plane to a waiting car the pilot definitely had the look of a woman who had been shaken and stirred. She decided that some recovery time was essential before she headed down to Baltimore.

Surprises in New England

Booking in at the hotel David found an envelope of documents about the land deal waiting for them at reception, so they headed to the dining room and spread them across an empty table. On the face of it, the project looked straightforward, a stretch of land running alongside a river. Sophia went straight to looking over any legal documentation while Ana looked at design and Elle went in search of local newspapers in reception to pick up on any local issues and a New Hampshire map covering this location. David was wondering why this opportunity had come to them, it seemed a little off their list of initial targets, calls to the office elucidated that it came in from an agent covering Boston and Cambridge region. A check online identifies that there is a move locally to protect the rivers and restore the river banks, which may have some bearing on the land sale. It gave them a bartering asset for when they began negotiating local approvals for development. The local population is not that big and larger size populations look to be at least 22 miles away.

Why did someone think we might be interested? He wondered; he decided to call the Agent. The representative advised that the owner was a client who had land holdings in many places and had given specific instructions to offer the land to David's investment group; he couldn't say more.

"Are there any specific matters relating to the land that I should be aware of then?" David asked.

"None that I know of," said the Agent, "but of course you must make your own enquiries."

"You will excuse my questioning but I don't understand the situation so it makes one suspicious, is there nothing more you can tell me?"

"I am afraid not, all I know is that my Client thinks this land would be of particular interest to you and wants to make sure that you have the opportunity to acquire it."
