Heading home

The search for a new home begins

"About 10 miles I'd say, 20 maybe 25 minutes from Ellicott centre, 35 to 45 minutes from Baltimore outskirts. Not too close to the coast but near enough to catch the tourists if you have an idea to interest them."

"If I can get hold of my partners could we have a look today or tomorrow perhaps."

"I can but try," she says.

"Let me call them," he says, and dials Jane.

"Hi David."

David has too many things going on in his head because something doesn't sound right but he can't deal with it immediately, so he decides to shelve it for later thought. He says, "I am with a Realtor right now and looking at a farm that seems to fit our requirements. Do you want to come see it? Bring Olivia too if you can tear her away from what she's doing."

"Sorry David, we can't come right now, tomorrow would be ok but we are hooked up for a while. Why don't you give it the once over and ring us if you think it's a 'possible'. We might be finished by then or as I say we can go tomorrow."

David is bewildered, what on earth are they doing that is so important. It can't be at Brees house because there's no real hurry on that. "Ok," he says tersely, "See you later," and terminates the call before Jane can respond further.
