I was 28 (In the late 1980's) when I attended my first business conference. Once I checked in, I decided to just wander around the lobby and conference area looking for married women prospects. Most of the attractive women that I ran into seemed concerned about checking in and getting acclimated and were not putting our any good vibes yet.
I settled in a comfortable chair pretending to read a book when I first noticed her. She was an attractive woman about 35 sitting with her husband across the lobby. I was at an angle to her and I have good peripheral vision so I was noticing her just checking me out.
I stood up to test my observations, walking past them about ten feet away and she watched me the entire time. I definitely noticed a lust I her eyes up close that I could not see from across the room. I returned to my chair and waited for an opportunity to meet her without hubby.
Sadly, that opportunity did not arise at that time. I proceeded on to the opening meetings and later dinner but while she was still watching me her husband never left her side. I checked out the bar later that evening but they were nowhere to be found and since I had a long day of travel, I turned in early.
The next morning, I went for a nice walk and went to have breakfast. They had a nice breakfast bar and as I was filling up my plate, I saw the couple get in line one person behind me. He told her to just get him some eggs and toast while he would go and get the coffee. I let the man directly behind me pass me so I could be next to the woman.
I am not sure why I changed my approach at the last minute but I just said to her "I am in room 215. Meet me there after breakfast." I walked away before she could say anything.
