Literotica has a long and rich history of authors using songs as inspiration for their stories. There have even been author-organized story events in the past utilizing specific songs. We (
NoraFares
and
Bebop3
) wanted to revisit that tradition. We invited some talented writers to join us and were overjoyed when they agreed.
On June 8th Literotica will be publishing stories that are somehow influenced by Paul Simon's "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover".
The authors were open to how their stories included the song. They could use lyrics as a springboard, have something occurring at a Paul Simon concert while he was playing the song or even focus on a blossoming romance by studio technicians during the recording of the song. The authors were given as much latitude as they would like when developing their stories.
"50 Ways to Leave Your Lover" seems like the perfect song to inspire writers on Literotica and we are excited to read what our fellow authors come up with. The entries will span multiple categories and various genres, so regardless of your personal preferences, there will hopefully be a story in your wheelhouse.
