Author's notes:
Just another tale of a wife deciding she needed to experience another man, in spite of the potential consequences.
I've received comments suggesting it can be difficult to determine who is narrating in my stories. I prefer to keep my stories more or less chronological rather than submit separate stories from each perspective. To help make this more easily understood, I've added the name of the narrator each time it changes. Please let me know in the comments if this helps or what might make it clearer.

====================
I had a software crisis at work Thursday night that required my team's immediate attention. It was midnight before we identified, corrected, and deployed the replacement software. This made it just before 1:00 AM by the time I got home. I found my dinner in the fridge and my wife, Chris, already in bed and sound asleep.
I ate, showered, and joined her in bed.
Chris is such a sound sleeper I often tease her about how difficult it is to wake her. So, I was surprised when Chris rolled over, snuggled against me, and started rubbing my chest. I could feel her hard nipples against my skin. My cock was instantly hard. Before I could do anything, she whispered "Oh, Scott, you feel so good. Take me again."
My penis deflated instantly, and I froze, waiting to see what else she might have to say.
You see, my name is Neil. Chris and I have been married six years, so I know she knows my name.
I lay there for what seemed an eternity waiting for her to say anything move. Eventually I fell asleep.
==========
Friday morning, everything was quiet thanks to the software fix my team rolled out. Everyone was busy making sure there weren't any other problems we might have missed.
This gave me time to think about who this Scott character might be.
None of our friends or common acquaintances are named Scott.
I checked Chris' company's web site and struck pay dirt. The Finance division manager was named Scott Newsome. Chris is an accountant, working in the Finance division. Bingo.
Against company policy, I searched Facebook and LinkedIn. I found his pages. He's handsome, or at least the kind women seem to find attractive. He has been with Chris' company for about two and a half years. He's married to a beautiful woman named Amanda. No mention of children. If there is something going on, I bet his wife is in the dark and he would want to keep it that way.
It is clear Amanda's dad is wealthy and has numerous business friends and contacts. I suspect he is responsible for Scott's current position.
My thoughts were going wild. I asked myself, "Is Chris having an affair with him or is she just dreaming of having an affair with him. What should I do? What can I do?"
====================
Chris:
Neil and I have a great marriage.
I had never really thought about describing a guy as being sexy before but that's how I responded to Scott. From the moment we met, there was just something I couldn't explain or even understand. Sure, he was handsome in a rugged, muscular sort of way. His body screamed confidence with his every move. His fine dark blond hair was frequently tousled, and it seemed like he always needed a shave. Not surprisingly, Scott was the subject of numerous office fantasies.
I had never seen him dressed in anything but a suit and tie but somehow I understood he would look even better if I took his clothes off. I even had thoughts of him tying me up with his ties.
Scott and I have been having lunch together and talking for the last three months. To start, our conversations were all business but somehow we progressed to sharing intimate details about our lives. I don't know how, but even my sex life became a topic for discussion. He was amazed when I confessed I had only had sex with my husband, asking if I ever wondered what another man might be like. I confessed the thought crossed my mind from time to time but never confessed he was the subject of most of those recent thoughts.
In another lunch conversation, Scott was surprised when I explained one of my dream vacations would be to cruise the Aleutian Islands off the coast of Alaska but my husband, Neil, did not share my interest. Scott surprised me by saying it had been his lifelong dream too. Initially I was skeptical but over the next several lunches, he impressed me with his knowledge of the area until I was convinced he was not just trying to score with me.
Two weeks ago, over lunch, Scott announced, "I made reservations for two for your dream cruise. All you have to do is say yes."
Without further thought, I said, "Yes."
"You know we'll be sharing a cabin. Right?" he asked.
"Yes."
"And a bed." That was a statement rather than a question.
I looked him unflinchingly in the eyes and said, "I understand."
"And a sexual adventure we'll never forget."
Continuing to hold his gaze, I said, "Yes, I am looking forward to it."
==========
So, here I am. Scott and I have planned a two-week Aleutian Island cruise. We're leaving Wednesday of next week and I haven't even mentioned it to Neil. Tonight is the night. I have to get it out in the open. I need to do some shopping this weekend.
I took the afternoon off and fixed a great dinner. I told myself, "After dinner, I'll tell him."
We had discussed infidelity before we got married and agreed it was a marriage ender. And here I am planning to cheat. I'm afraid he'll just blow up and forbid my going. I don't know what I'll do if he does.
There he is.
"Hey Neil. Dinner's ready. Why don't you change while I get it on the table." I called from the kitchen.
"You must have left work early."
"Yes, I wanted to fix a special dinner. I have something I need to tell you."
"Well, dinner sure smells good. I'll be right back."
In no time, we were seated at the table enjoying dinner.
"How was your day?" Neil asked, innocently.
I blurted out, "I'm going on an Aleutian Island cruise."
Neil looked surprised and asked, "When are we leaving? I'll have to make sure I can take off."
The "we" in his question caught me off guard and without thinking, I responded tensely, "You're not going. It's just me." Then, more calmly "I'm leaving Wednesday."
"Oh?" Neil appeared to be confused and disappointed. "Why don't you want me to go with you?"
"You wouldn't enjoy it, and you probably couldn't get two weeks off anyway." I replied.
"Oh, so it's a two-week cruise?"
"Yes," I responded, "the cruise is eleven days but due to the timing of flights, I'll have to stay in a hotel the night before and after the cruise."
"Why are you going now?" was his next question.
"You know I've always wanted to go whale watching and hiking on a glacier. I found a deal on-line and it's the right season."
"Who's going with you?" Neil asked, staring directly at me.
His gaze felt like he could see right through me and knew the truth.
"No one. I'm going alone." I lied.
"Scott's not going?" he asked, his gaze burning my flesh.
I nearly hit the floor. "How does he know? And more importantly, what does he know?" I asked myself.
I managed to pull it together. "No", I stuttered. "Just me. Why would you think Scott would be going?"
Neil continued to shock me. "I know about you and Scott."
"What do you know about Scott?" I asked weakly.
"I know you are having an emotional, if not physical, affair with him."
Looking down I responded, "We have done nothing but talk over lunch."
Neil just stared at me for a minute before continuing, "I know I can't order you not to go. What if I asked you not to go?"
I said, "The trip is already paid for. I can't change plans at this point without losing my money. You wouldn't want that would you? So, I'm going."
"How much is this trip going to cost us?" he asked.
This was beginning to sound like he was accepting my trip. "The cruise is roughly $11,000 plus airfare and incidentals. I'm paying for it out of my own account." I knew he didn't keep up with my checking and saving accounts, so I felt safe with this lie.
He countered, "I mean besides money. What about our marriage? Are you willing to throw away our marriage to have sex with him, and to pay for the privilege?"
"I'm not throwing my marriage away. I love you. You love me." I was getting flustered, and words were slipping out, "I've only ever been with you. I want to experience another man. Besides, I'm not paying him for sex." I replied hotly.
"No, maybe not directly but you are paying close to $13,000 on the trip and don't insult me by claiming you're not planning to sleep with him while you're gone." He said sternly.
I yelled, "I'm not paying for the trip, Scott is."
In the silence that followed, I realized I had just admitted to lying to Neil about paying for the trip myself. And, I had effectively confirmed I was planning to have sex with Scott. This conversation hadn't gone the way I meant it to go.
Neil broke the silence with a whisper. "And that makes you a what?"
I broke out in tears and ran to the bedroom wailing.
