When Gina Met Tammy...Ch.9
A cool, rainy day keeps the girls inside, watching movies.
The trip to Texas begins!
TAMMY:
My eyes fluttered open to see a beautiful sight -- Gina was still facing me, her face bathed in the peacefulness of sleep. I glanced at the clock, seeing it was nearly 10:00! Wow, I haven't slept this late in a long time, but then again, I hadn't stayed out until 2:00 AM in a while either. I smiled as I slid out of bed, recalling how much fun we'd had last night with Mikey and Noah.
Looking outside, the skies are gray, and the air smells like we may be in for some rain today. I closed the French doors, and made my way downstairs after I peed and brushed my teeth. With a fresh mug of coffee, I turned the TV on to check the weather. They're saying a thunderstorm is moving into the area, and to expect lightning and heavy rain later in the day. To accentuate the point, I heard thunder off in the distance, and could see the clouds getting even darker over the mountains.
I went to the basement to start a wash on our duvet. It looks like we may need it tonight, since the highs are only supposed to be in the 50s today. A huge clap of thunder made me jump and shriek a little, and I heard Gina yell "Holy FUCK!" Giggling, I started a mug of coffee for her. She came down a minute later, kissed me good morning and got her coffee. Before she sat down, she did a full stretch, and the sight of her lithe body created a twitch in my pussy that ran all the way up my spine.
Since it was so late in the morning, we decided to wait until lunch time to eat. Gina reached over and rubbed my crotch and said, "I can always find somethin' t' snack on if I get too hungry 'fore noon." After sliding her middle finger up my slit, she pulled her hand back and wrinkled her nose when she sniffed the digit. She said, "But honey, I think the fruit on this tray has done gone bad. I reckon we'll need to scrub the plates 'fore we eat!"
Laughing, I got up to make us both another mug of coffee, telling her I needed more caffeine before doing anything. I got my iPad and opened the website for the resort in the Bahamas, and we spent some time looking through the various attractions on the island. Gina got her iPad to check out the route we'll be taking Tuesday when we leave for Texas. She said we could probably make Roswell Tuesday, then it would only be a few hours to her hometown the next day.
GINA:
The rain that Tammy said we'd be getting all day was starting to fall. It wasn't too bad yet, but the rumbling thunder was getting closer, and we'll probably get a good downpour before long. Finishing our coffee, we went up to take a long luxurious shower, scrubbing away last night's sweat and letting the hot water ease away the soreness from dancing.
After we dried off, we massaged each other with a coating of the lavender/peppermint lotion. That invigorated us, and I guess it woke up our tummies also, because they started grumbling while we rubbed our bodies. We went down and fixed ourselves a lunch of chicken noodle soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, perfect comfort food for a rainy day. I set out some chicken to thaw for my Southwestern casserole, thinking it will be good for the cool evening we'll be having.
Tammy went down to put the duvet in the dryer and started a load of the few clothes we'd worn when Keme was here. When she came back, we made a call to Keme, to check up on her and Angie. Keme said they were getting ready to go to Angie's home as soon as she saw the doctor one last time. With the phone on speaker, they asked how our 'dates' had been, and Tammy had them laughing when she told the story about the Noah and the beard incident.
We ended the call when the doctor came into Angie's room, telling them we'd call again tomorrow. The rain was really starting to come down now and we figured this was a good afternoon to watch some movies. Tammy found a rom-com about lesbians called "Better Than Chocolate" and we settled on the couch to watch. I'd poured us some wine and we shared a bowl with the vaporizer while we watched, snuggled up with Ba-Ba covering us. It was a good movie, and Tammy perked up when there was a body-painting scene, saying she'd like to try that on me sometime. Hmmm, that sounds interesting!
TAMMY:
When the movie ended, I went down to get the duvet and put the other load in the dryer. I took the duvet upstairs to put on our bed while Gina looked for another movie. When I got back, she'd topped off our wine and we watched "Ice Pirates", a sci-fi spoof with Robert Urich. There were some hilarious parts and we both enjoyed watching it. I was cuddled up against Gina, and she told me she understood now why I liked Ba-Ba so much. He was so soft and warm!
After that movie, Gina went to make her casserole. I folded the clothes that were in the dryer and put them up, then we got back under Ba-Ba and watched TV for a while until dinner was ready. The casserole Gina made was very spicy and very good. After cleaning up, Gina loaded the vaporizer again while I refilled our wine.
We moved out to the deck, shivering until we got in the warm water of the hot tub. The rain had tapered off to a drizzle, but the temperature felt like it was probably in the 40s. We smoked, drank, and soaked until our skin started pruning. After drying off, we covered up again with the quilt and watched some more TV. I got some acetone and we removed the polish from each other's fingers and toes. The polish looked great, but we both prefer not wearing it unless it's for a night out like we'd had yesterday.
Stifling a big yawn, Gina said she was still tired from our 'dates', so we shut off the TV and went up to bed. Neither of us had the energy for much more than making out a little, and talking about what we needed to do tomorrow to get ready for the trip. She'd checked the long-range forecast for the area we're going to, and they were calling for 80- and 90-degree weather, so we agreed most of what we'd need to pack would be shorts and T shirts.
