Tina stood still, completely shocked by the scene. Mackenzie Thomas, an experienced captain of the police force, leader of an elite squad, a hardboiled and skilled officer, her own mentor and partner, captured, tied up to a chair and half exposed, with the notorious mobster standing behind her, smiling in satisfaction. Her eyes blinked a few times before she tried to regain her composure. If Mackenzie was captured, then she would just have to rescue her and take down Chang Yi herself. Nodding to herself decisively, she curled her fingers and raised her gun, pointing at the dark haired mobster.
"Chang Yi, you are under arrest! Step away from Officer Thomas, get down on your knees and hands in the air!" Tina said firmly.
"Well, this sounds familiar now! She's pretty good, although could use a bit more practice to sound as commanding as you, don't you think Officer Mackenzie?" Chang Yi simply chuckled in amusement.
"I am being serious! Surrender now, or I'll have to use force!" Tina tried to keep her voice steady, but a hint of frustration was evident in her voice at the villainess' reaction.
"Really now? Well, my young and fierce little officer, I'm going to say to you the same thing I told your superior here. I refuse to obey your commands! And I'm completely unarmed, and not trying to escape. I am not even holding a gun or a knife against your partner, threatening her! Are you going to shoot me, an unarmed woman who poses no direct threat to you or your partner?" Chang Yi said. Tina's hands slightly trembled uncertain, how to respond. She glanced towards her captured partner, but Mackenzie herself seemed at a loss, something that the dark haired villainess noticed.
"Okay now, let's all take a deep breath and calm down! As you can see Officer Obikwelu I have your partner here, but other than being all tied up in this chair with her own handcuffs, neither her nor you are in any immediate danger. So put that gun down slowly, and let's converse instead, like civilized people" Chang Yi said lightly. Tina remained still for a few moments before she slowly lowered her gun, but kept her guard up.
"What exactly do you want?" the dark haired officer said.
"I think the question is, what do you want. I mean let's be honest, don't you want to know what happened to your lovely superior here? How is it possible that within the past forty minutes or so that you lost track of her, she got captured, her uniform got a bit, messed up, and she was bound to a chair? I am certain you wonder, how did things turn like this? How did your carefully planned mission go awry? The famed Mackenzie Thomas, the star of the local police department, was ready to make her biggest move, capturing and handing over the number one villainess in town, and you on her side would be part of this operation, and to enjoy in the success!" Chang Yi said, causing Tina to widen her eyes. The young brunette started wondering how could Chang Yi know all this, she had never met the woman before.
"Don't let her distract you with her tricky mind games, Tina! Just arrest her and turn her in, so we can be done with this!" Mackenzie shouted to her subordinate, fearing that her young partner was slowly falling in the cunning mobster's trap. Tina was eager to follow the orders of her admired and beloved superior, but still a part of her started to wonder why Officer Mackenzie seemed so concerned. Chang Yi was a notorious and dangerous villainess, but if she wanted to actually take her down she would have done so the moment Tina walked inside the room. Tina was young and still relatively inexperienced but not stupid, she noticed all the monitors and screens behind Chang Yi, she realized that she had been watching them the moment they got inside the building and had been waiting for them. She knew she could have taken them down and yet she simply stood there, simply talking. Tina was fine and Mackenzie, although a bit disheveled and a bit weary, was unharmed as well. So was there more to what had happened? Was Officer Mackenzie, her captain and leader of her squad, embarrassed of the way she had been captured. Tina had to admit, that part of her was a bit curious about what had happened between her superior officer and the mobster.
"Why is she afraid to let Chang Yi tell her story? Let her brag a bit, and we'll just turn her in anyway, so what could be the problem?" Tina thought.
"In stead of handling this operation in a rather clumsy and shameful way, I give you the chance to restore you honour, take revenge for this little funny situation here I created with the famous officer Mackenzie, head of department of the all female elite division"
"The only thing I propose is to have a little wrestling match, a hand-to-hand combat with our lovely black athlete here. Rumor has it that your black stallion has impressive skills in that. Isn't it, miss Thomas?" (she was making the racist undertones on purpose, in order to trigger Mackenzie Thomas' anger)
"It is for this reason that you made her make promotion so fast, I guess, up to being your personal sidekick. Something the other shapely ladies could only dream of after years of service. Or maybe for some other reasons as well, I don't know about that... but I got a glimpse of your reactions just now, so I might have an idea. Well, it would be a real pleasure of mine, before I'll be put behind bars certainly for several years, to have some physical confrontation with one of the most exciting females in your squad."
At this moment, Obikwelu was eager to go into this offer, and to learn this arrogant bitch a serious lesson. What an arrogance and what a language did she dare to display! (and what had she been doing to Mackenzie half an hour ago?) Hand-to-hand combat, indeed, she couldn't wait to kick her ass... and in the meantime show off for her admired superior of how she could handle this bitch (oh if she knew how these thoughts might become reality, but in a complete different way, ...!)
"No need to do this, Tina! Just turn her in without further ado. Let her fantasies where they belong, in her dirty mind. She is in no position to demand whatsoever."
Chang Yi sensed Obikwelu's hesitation and further pushed the button. She moved close to Tina, in a way that Mackenzie couldn't overhear her anymore. And in a sultry voice she addressed the black officer: "Or did you have other ideas in mind as well to celebrate this operation? Since I can't read thoughts I can only speculate about this, but I have to admit that if I were you... she's a sexy piece of..."
Still softer, to make sure that Mackenzie wouldn't hear anything: "You can arrest me now and then this is all over. I might go to jail - in case you have enough proof of all my crimes. You will release your beautiful partner here, and it will just have been an embarrassing episode for her. Maybe someday she will tell you how I could have overpowered her. Although I think she won't do that soon, because for the tough bitch she thinks she is - I mean for the tough cop she thinks she is, sorry - it was a rather shameful experience. It will stay a little secret of her for the rest of her career and that's that. You wouldn't even want to know, do you? Or are you... oh you do want to know I see. There might be a sexy bitch under this uniform and stern pose of yours? In that case I will give you the chance to restore your tag team honour. We will fight it out here, barehanded, woman to woman. If you can pin me for 5 seconds, I confess everything I've done in this drug ring you are after and I will serve my time in jail."
Officer Obikwelu, shocked by the shameless guts of miss Chang Yi Nguyen, couldn't think clearly anymore. "And what's in it for you? What if..." (realising she was about to say "what if I can't overpower you")...
"She's taking the bait", the evil villainess thought with a sly grin.
"I will explain you", the villainess answered. "To be honest, to deceive and trap such beautiful police officers is quite erotic. So I want to go further down that path, I mean I want to lead you further down that path, hehe. But don't be shocked at what I'm about to tell you. Since you seem already a bit confused, isn't it? You do seem a bit confused - that's cute, for someone so tough and full of confidence. But don't be shocked with what I'm about to tell you. So I will try to make it simpler" Chang Yi chuckled before she continued.
"I see that your partner miss Thomas - that's how she's called, isn't it? Or may I say Mackenzie? - hasn't the full confidence in your abilities to overpower me. As for why is that, I wouldn't know, at least not at first sight. I see before me a gorgeous specimen, a beautiful policewoman from Nigerian descent: athletic, strong, dominant, confident,... and I let myself say she has extraordinary wrestling capacities. Miss Mackenzie should know that, isn't it? So why would she dissuade you to take me on? After all I have been teasing you a bit, some might even call it insulted? Who would accept being called a 'black stallion' or a 'black mare' even if it was just a slip of the tongue of mine? Or my imagination running away with me seeing such a sculptured work of art in a police uniform." Chang Yi was deliberately adding verbal insult to injury now upon her former racist remark.
"And Miss Mackenzie knows you better than I do, so she would definitely recognise your fantastic abilities? So why would she still object? Might she know more than you? Did she want to protect you by moaning, I mean sorry insisting that you would just arrest me instead of going along with my game? So I will be honest with both of you, and give you a second chance to retreat, and just let you arrest me if you wouldn't feel okay with what I am going to propose you."
"Don't do it, don't let her fool you! Just arrest her!" the bound Mackenzie Thomas said.
It were exactly these words that let Obikwelu decide to put her gun down and say: "I take the bet. Let's fight it out and I will teach you who's in charge here. And I will restore my partners honour!"
But why? Mackenzies words really shocked Obikwelu, and for different reasons. Why did her partner sound afraid of this brazen villainess? Mackenzie Thomas, her partner and superior, whom she respected and adored so deeply? Obikwelu had never seen nor heard her afraid and intimidated. This couldn't be true, especially after this Japanese crime boss insulted both of them so sharply. I will show her we are not afraid of this scum! But the other reason was: why did Mackenzie not trust Obikwelu to be able to overpower Chang Nguyen? Obikwelu was a very proud woman, extremely athletic, and of all of the physical exercises during her training, she stood out above all other female cops. In hand-to-hand combat no one could equal her, maybe except officer Thomas herself, and even then...
