Alicia is a 30 year old lady that had been through a lot in relationships. Whenever she commits herself in a serious relationship, she ended up getting extremely hurt or disappointed. She decided that it was time to change her perception on love and focus on self love. Eva is a 25 year old lady with a 4 year old son named Edgar whom she adored and protected with her life. One day, Eva took her son to the park to play and she sat at the bench with her laptop working. Suddenly she heard her son crying and rushed to see what happened to him. "Are you ok sweetie?", Alicia asked him with a motherly tone. The boy told her that he had bruises on his legs. Eva watched how sweet and caring Alicia was towards her son and went to thank her.
"Hi, I am Eva. Thank you for making him feel better. i shall take it from here."
"Its ok I am glad he's ok but i think that i should give you guys a treat. How about ice cream for this handsome guy and his beautiful mother?"
Eva was hesitant at first but she agreed on the ice-cream. The three had ice-creams and Alicia bid farewell to them.
"Wait, you didnt tell me your name?" Eva asked. "Oops I am sorry, i forgot. My name is Alicia. its nice to meet you Eva." Alicia replied.
Eva looked on the ground like a shy teenager and started blushing. "Can i have your number?" Eva requested.
"Sure, let me write it for you on your phone." They exchanged numbers and Alicia left. Edgar told Eva that he likes Alicia and wishes to see her again.
Three months had passed without contacting each other. Alicia expected Eva's call but Eva did not call her. She had given up on the idea of seeing of hearing from her and her son again. Until one day, Eva decided to call her. She apologised for staying silent for three months and invited her to her house for lunch. Alicia agreed and arranged to visit Eva.
Eva had taken Edgar to school and asked her mother to pick him up and take him to her house since she was going to be occupied at home which her mother agreed. Alicia arrived at Eva's house at 2 pm in thr afternoon. she knocked on the door. Eva opened the door and made Alicia starstruck with what she saw. You know Alicia, I have been a single mother for 4 years now and I vowed not to bring another person into my life ever again after my son's father but you have changed my decision."
Alicia started getting nervous and then she asked, "What do you mean by that Eva?"
