The early morning air was warm inside the government teachers quarters when Meera woke up from her sleep. She was wearing her faded blue coloured nighty which was damp with her sweat.
Anjali, her colleague and roommate, was the next as she was woken up by Meera, wearing a sleeveless black T-shirt and loose cotton shorts, clung to her damp skin.
"It's disgusting how humid it is," Anjali said as she stretched her arms and sat on the bed.
"We should freshen up before it gets worse." Said Meera.
Anjali yawned and nodded.
"I need to pee first." Anjali said.
Meera laughed.
"Me too. Let's just go together," She said.
They entered their adjacent bathroom and Anjali stood up first above the toilet and hooked her thumbs under the waistband of her shorts, slid them down as she let them pool around her feet.
Meera watched, a little longer than usual, on how the lace panties hugged Anjali's damp curves. She lifted her own nighty up her thighs and past her abdomen, revealing her panties.
Anjali glanced at her with a small smile.
"You always wear the same set," she said in a teasing manner as Meera pulled her panties down.
"It's comfortable." Meera said softly.
Squatting next to each other barefoot, both of them let out relieved sighs as they peed together.
"Why does it always feel better in the morning?" Anjali asked.
"Because we waited too long." Meera said.
They washed up their privates, and Meera reached for a towel and patted her damp skin as Anjali was watching her, having pulled up her panties but discarded her shorts, feeling comfortable.
Meera didn't bother to pull up her panties again as it was all soaked with her sweat and juices, and instead stepped out of it, and pushed her nightie down as she let out a deep breath.
as she stepped out of her damp panties, letting them stay crumpled on the bathroom floor. The heat inside their small quarters was unbearable, and the sticky sweat clinging to her skin made her shudder.
Anjali's eyes gazed at Meera's bare thighs beneath her thin nighty as it clung to Meera's curves, revealing more than it hid.
"You should just take it off," Anjali said
"It's soaked anyway."
"And you should stop staring." Meera said.
