At eight o'clock Rebecca collected Tracy from outside her house and drove towards the 'Why', a discrete old country house that was a bar, come club, come restaurant that Rebecca had known for many years. It never advertised but it was well known that it was a ladies-only establishment, this was reinforced by the fact that the staff were all female, from the valet who greeted the guests through to the Michelin starred chef who cooked up dishes to die for. To eat there you either had to be a member or be there on the personal recommendation of a member, which was always checked before entry was granted. Rebecca had become a member after dining there with a woman she had a brief fling with who it subsequently transpired was an old friend of the owner.
An exquisite dinner was followed by a lot of drinks, which then cumulated in a mind-blowing threesome with her date for the night and the owner. Afterwards, Rebecca got a lifetime membership to the 'Why' and also an invite from her date to visit an island called 'Perro Mundo' any time she fancied something a 'little bit different'. Rebbecca never got to visit the island though often wondered what the 'little bit different' was but did become a regular at the 'Why'. Once she started dating Joanne she would take her there on special occasions and although the offer of a threesome was hinted at she never followed it through as Joanne wasn't keen. It also meant that Rebecca always received extra special treatment, though not to say that every guest wasn't treated like a queen, however for a 'special friend' of the owner, the red carpet was rolled out.
As they got out of Rebecca's dark luxurious SUV, Tracy gulped as she stared at the magnificent facade and felt she was totally out of her depth. That feeling deepened when they stepped inside and she saw the stunning dress that Rebecca revealed when the greeter took their coats. The dress was like a silver sheath that clung to Rebecca's tall sleek body and seemed like it was almost sprayed on, Tracy couldn't make out any visible signs of anything underneath and then glancing at her own clothes she felt dowdy and frumpy.
"What's up?" said Rebecca seeing Tracy downturned face.
"I don't think I fit in here," Tracy said quietly wishing the ground would open up and swallow her.
Rebecca stopped and turned to Tracy, waving away the hovering waitress so she could speak quietly but firmly with Tracy she said, "I bought you here because I thought you might like it, but if you want to go because you feel uncomfortable then I am more than happy to have dinner wherever you want." Not adding the thought that was running through her head that the only thing she really wanted to eat was Tarcy.
"Oh I am sorry if I sound ungrateful," Tracy stammered, "Just I don't want to embarrass you."
"You couldn't embarrass me if you tried."
As the waitress led them to their table, Rebecca hang back half a step and studied Tracy's figure which was a lot less frumpy than Tracy had intimated, Rebecca could see some of the seated couples giving admiring looks as Tracy passed them and Rebecca almost went to say something to boost Tracy's confidence but realised that perhaps it was a little early for Tracy to fully realise what type of place this was.
Tracy sat and looked around the room which was laid out in such a way that sweeping chiffon curtains and large plants separated dinners to the point it almost seemed each couple was alone, yet at the same time you could catch a glimpse of a neighbouring table through the leaves or a blurry outline through the drapes.
"How nice to see you Ms Carson it has been far too long," said a stunning oriental woman who had appeared at the table next to the waitress and seeing how the waitress deferred to her, Tracy knew this must be someone important.
"And who is this ravishing beauty you have bought here tonight, how have you kept this jewel hidden for so long?"
Tracy felt herself blush to the roots as the woman stared deep into her eyes with a look that Tracy felt insinuated a more intimate desire.
Rebecca laughed as she said, "Suzi this is Tracy, a... good friend." Then turned her gaze to Tracy as she said, "And this is Suzi Wong if that is her real name, the biggest flirt to come out of Kowloon in many years, but at the same time owns a most wonderful establishment."
Suzi smiled at Rebecca and said Tracy in a conspiratorial stage whisper, "when you have become bored with this one, you come and see Suzi," then laughed gaily as she clapped her hands very quietly for the waitress to take their order.
