The girls did get up and changed the sheets. They found Carol Rogers downstairs reading the newspaper. When the girls got ready, they had lunch and went shopping. Spring Break came in the second week of March. While many of the school's student took off for warm climates and fun times, Melanie had a lot to do with her schoolwork and so she was not going anywhere.
