Abby's smile evolved into a passionate, overly-excited expression. She threw her hands up over her head and squealed as her older sister stood in front of the open door. She charged at Ellie and embraced her tightly. Her arms were so tight around her they felt like a vice grip tightening around her chest. She couldn't breathe. "Abby..." Ellie managed with what breath she had in her. "You're-I can't... breathe."
Abby loosened her grip, but she didn't let go of her sister. Her head rested on Ellie's shoulder. She could feel her sister's heart pounding in her left breast.
Someone is very excited to see me.
Ellie dropped her suitcase beside her and joined her sister in the embrace.
I had forgotten how much I missed you.
Her emotions came back to her and her eyes welled up with tears. "I'm sorry," Ellie whispered. For one year not only had she abandoned her parents, but she had abandoned Abby.
Abby nuzzled her chin in Ellie's shoulder. "You don't have to be sorry. You're a busy girl and you're here now. That's all that matters. There's nothing to be sorry about." Ellie couldn't help but let her emotions keep coming. Her cheeks were now sodden, glistening from the light pouring through the open front door.
One year away and she's still here for me. What a terrible sister I am.
Of course, her reason for not returning was still an issue. As Abby stood there hugging Ellie, Ellie knew that she still had feelings for her younger sister. She still had the urge to pin Abby up against the wall and kiss her tenderly, passionately. Right now, though, she focused on reconnecting with her sister in a platonic, non-romantic way.
"I still love you," Abby said softly, her arms locked tightly around her big sister.
Ellie let her gaming bag rest on the floor. Her eyes were red and puffy. Her cheeks were damp. Abby wiped away her tears with her thumbs and smiled at her sister. An expression of joy still lingered on her face. "Do you need help?" Abby eagerly asked.
Ellie kept her eyes fixed on Abby. She was so pretty -
no, gorgeous
, Ellie thought. She had grown and matured so much in the last year. Her red hair was put down in pigtails just as she was always known for wearing it. The pigtails fell over her shoulders and rested on her chest. She wore a beautiful, olive green summer dress. Her freckles on her face seemed to be more prominent now than she remembered from the past.
As Ellie admired her sister, she noticed her nipples starting to harden. Luckily, she had put on a padded bra after her love-making with Ariel earlier in the day. Still, Ellie forced the thoughts away. Thinking of her sister this way is what caused her to leave in the first place and she wasn't keen on making that mistake again.
Ellie pointed her thumb over her shoulder to the car. "There's a suitcase in the car if you'd like to get it and take it to my room." Abby smiled and skipped her way outside.
She's so exuberant.
Ellie picked up her suitcase, picked up her gaming bag, and headed upstairs.
She walked down the dark hallway and saw the door to her room. It stood open as her parents walked out. "Did you see Abby?" Her father asked.
Ellie smiled. "She practically made me submit to her bear hug."
Her father laughed. "She's quite strong." They walked past her, holding hands, heading down stairs. "Are there any other suitcases in the car?" Her father yelled.
Ellie stared at her room from where she stood. She shook her head. "No," she replied. "Abby got the last one." Her voice lingered in the air.
Ellie walked to her doorway and peeked in her room. The lamp next to her bed shined bright. It was as if she had never left. Everything looked the same from one year ago. Her entertainment center sat against the wall opposite of her bed; surround sound speakers hung from the walls around the room and the subwoofer sat next to the entertainment center; her computer desk was still next to her closet; her
Dead Space
poster of Isaac Clarke standing with his back facing forward and his head looking back still graced the wall above the desk. Even her two Isaac Clarke figures still sat on either side of her forty-two inch, flat screen, LCD television still in their packages.
This feels so weird. It's like stepping back in time.
Ellie threw her suitcase on her bed and placed her gaming bag next to it. She went to the window and opened the curtains to let in more light from the late afternoon Sun. She looked outside and admired the view of the neighborhood. There was a toddler across the street playing with his mother. A few kids rode their bikes down the street tossing a football between them.
That's an accident waiting to happen. You could at least wear helmets
.
Next door, Ellie could see a sprinkler system kick on as it watered the neighbor's lawn. Their grass was cut evenly and was very well taken care of. She could hear their dog barking at the kids on their bikes. All of the reminiscent sights and sounds brought a smile to Ellie's face.
Ellie turned around facing the door as she heard grunting coming from the hallway. "What do you have in here, Ellie, a body?" It was Abby. She was carrying Ellie's suitcase with her books in it.
Ellie laughed at her sister's misfortune of having to carry the heavy suitcase. "They're my books!"
Abby dropped the suitcase in the doorway. She looked over at the bookcase sitting by her bed. "That bookcase is already full. Where are you going to put these books?"
Ellie hadn't thought about that. She brought her hand to her chin. "That's a good question."
Abby shrugged her shoulders. "Eh, just leave them in the suitcase." She immediately fell to her knees turning the suitcase over. "Actually, can I look through them?"
Abby's quirkiness caused Ellie to laugh again. "Yes," Ellie replied jovially.
Oh, Abby. You're so cute.
Look at you with your happiness shining through. You could breathe life into a mortuary.
Ellie's thoughts began to escalate. At first, she was admiring her sister's excitement as she looked through the books. Then, her admiration became fantasy.

Ellie took a step forward, slowly. Abby was still face deep in the suitcase full of books. Ellie approached Abby and still Abby hadn't noticed. Ellie bent down and stroked her hand across Abby's cheek. "You're so beautiful," Ellie whispered.
Abby looked up as her sister caressed her. Her eyes widened. "Ellie...?"
Ellie licked her lips and grinned. "I need you," she mouthed.
Abby's jaw hung slack. A rosy blush filled her cheeks. "Oh... Ellie...?"
Ellie slipped her hand down Abby's cheek and to her shoulder. She curled a finger under the strap of her sister's summer dress. It fell down her shoulder exposing the soft, pale skin. Ellie, again, licked her lips. "You're just so gorgeous," Ellie whispered, leaning forward, pressing her lips again the exposed skin.
Abby's breath jolted. She shivered against her sister's tender kiss. A soft moan escaped her lips.
