Maria was the first to wake up that next morning. The three young women had all gone to sleep in each other's arms but overnight a small gap had opened up between Nancy and Maria. She looked over at her two friends and they remained intertwined. Maria had three thoughts one after the other. The first was how peaceful and content Nancy and Maura looked. They clearly loved each other so very much and while it was evident in a host of ways, this was such a sweet example of that fact. The second thought was how lucky she was that these two women, so very much in love with each other, still found a place in their hearts for her. They shared their love for each other with her and allowed her to bask in the warmth that flowed from that love.
However, there was still that gap. That little bit that said for all they meant to her and for all she meant to them, there was still a different level in Nancy and Maura's relationship that no one, not even Maria, could attain. Being in bed with them but having that gap was a bittersweet moment.
Almost as if she could sense her friend's thoughts, Nancy's arm reached back for Maria. When the hand found its target, Nancy tried to pull Maria to her. Maria scooted right over, closing the gap and pressing her body into Nancy. Nancy brought her arm to rest on Maura's hip even as she rubbed her butt back against Maria's body. Maybe it was just that she liked the warmth of Maria's body against her exposed back, but maybe it was something else.
Maria snuggled into Nancy that much tighter and draped her arm over both Nancy and Maura. Feeling the pressure, Maura reached up and found Maria's hand with her own. She interlocked her fingers with Maria's and pulled both hands to her chest. Sleeping on their right sides, Maria's hand was now being pressed against Maura's chest with Maura's hand overtop Maria's. In this position, Maria could sense Maura's heartbeat. She didn't have
the
someone special that Nancy and Maura had with each other. But she had something special with Nancy and Maura. And she was very happy that she had it. Maybe there would be a way to close the gap.
Although they did not have classes first thing that morning, they did have classes and they did have things to do. Maria had to bring her stuff that Maura had kept for her over the summer back to her room to finish unpacking. She also had to put the wig back on before she left and that took a little time to get it right.
There wasn't a whole lot of school work to do that first week, so the girls spent a lot of time in the dorm's lounge catching up with everyone's summer. Maria mentioned her work on a project in Los Angeles but did not mention whose lives the work was based on or where it could be viewed. Nancy and Maura talked a lot about their trip to Yellowstone.
That first weekend the weather was so nice that everyone seemed to be out around campus. There was a lot of frisbee throwing and an impromptu volleyball game. The girls all had a lot of fun but they were very tired and mostly slept at night.
Nancy did ask Maura and Maria to help her with the butt plug over the weekend. Maura was enthusiastic in helping Nancy by using her tongue and a finger to loosen up her back door for the plug. Nancy had them put it in before both lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday and went to the cafeteria with it in. However, Maura and Maria were impressed with Nancy's daring. Maria continued to be on removal duty although after Sunday night's dinner, the removal process was no longer painful for Nancy.
Wednesday morning Nancy had a class earlier than Maura or Maria and she was up first. She brought the butt plug down to the shower with her and managed to get it in all by herself. She did make a little yelp as it went in and the girl in the next shower did ask Nancy if she was okay. "Yeah. I just slipped a little. Good reminder to be careful on these wet tiles."
When she got back to the room, she was very proud of herself and she woke Maura up to show her. Nancy's phone beeped with a reply from Maria saying, "Well done." with a "thumbs up" emoji.
Nancy and Maura were very excited the next Friday night, because it was "strap on night." The plans had been set for Maria to give them a tutorial. So, they were a little disappointed when Maria was late. After about 15 minutes, Nancy texted her and was not enthused with the reply. "

When Maria finally arrived, she looked a little preoccupied. Nancy asked her, "Anything you want to talk about?"
Maria was taking off her wig, which had become a ritual when she was staying over. She said, "I'm a little worried about Kimmy."
"Your roommate?" asked Maura.
"Yes. I am not sure about this boyfriend of hers. She's such a sweet and trusting girl and I don't think I like him. I'm pretty sure he was hitting on me. At first, I thought maybe he recognized me and that's why I stayed there. Trying to figure out if he did. I finally realized he didn't but in some ways that made it worse. It would be one thing if he thought I was a porn star, but he's just being flirty with a random girl."
"You are not just a random girl, Maria. You're super-hot." Maura offered. Maria blew her a kiss as she went back to straightening the wig on the Styrofoam head.
After getting the wig in place, Maria seemed to stare off in space still thinking about her roommate's situation for about ten seconds. Then a grin crept over her face and she said, "Well, not my circus, not my monkey. We have plans for tonight." And she went over and pulled out the two strap on harnesses from the bag she had left there last week.
Maria hunted around in the bag for a little bit and then looked at Nancy and Maura and asked, "Where are the dildos that go with these?"
Nancy and Maura both looked away and Maura eventually admitted, "Their under our pillows."
Maria laughed a little and said, "Oh you two. Look at you? All next level sexy." Nancy actually blushed a little as Maura went onto the bed to retrieve them.
Maria asked, "You didn't leave them under there after using them, did you?"
"No, I cleaned them last night after everyone was asleep." Nancy responded. "We've used them a bunch of times over the last two weeks, but I've always made sure to wash them as some time that night."
"Okay good. Maybe I am overly sensitive about that as we are pretty strict about hygiene on set, but I would say you really should wash them after use. And it's good you've been using them as it will make things easier tonight. So how do you want to do this?"
Maura's smiling face seemed to retract a little and again Nancy looked away from Maria. Maura said, "Well, if you don't mind, we'd like to start off with the two of us. But we want you to be right there to help guide us."
