It was around eight in the evening and the office was almost empty except for Aishwarya, a new recruit who was in her early twenties and Megha, her manager who was in her early thirties.
Megha sat across from Aishwarya in order to go through some paperwork. She was wearing a cream colored silk blouse which was tucked neatly into a high waisted navy blue pencil skirt along with black stiletto heels.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya was wearing a lavender ruffled top with beige formal trousers.
"Done for the night?" Megha asked.
"Almost," Aishwarya replied.
She hesitated for a moment before she added.
"At times it's sort of funny that people say HR is all about handling people but you seem more reserved."
Megha raised her eyes.
"So you're telling me that I am intimidating?" Megha asked.
"Not really intimidating, but may be controlled," said Aishwarya.
Megha raised an eyebrow again.
"You know control is important as it helps to keep things in order." Megha said.
She reached for the candle that was on the table.
"For example, have you ever tried temperature play?" Megha asked.
Aishwarya was surprised.
"Temperature play?"
Megha nodded.
"It's a way of testing limits." she said as she dipped her finger into the pooling wax.
She lifted it as she watched a.small drop slide down her fingertip before cooling on her skin.
"Does it hurt?" Aishwarya asked.
Megha leaned forward.
"A little but it's the mix of heat and sensation and that's what makes it interesting," Megha said.
"Would you like to try?" she asked.
Aishwarya hesitated but nodded as she reached out slowly and extended her wrist. Megha smiled and slightly tilted the candle. The first drop of wax landed just below Aishwarya's wrist bone making her feel a quick sting of heat and then a slow cooling sensation which made her gasp a little bit.
