The start to her morning was a bit chaotic, but after getting into work and finishing up a few things it seemed to calm down a bit. It was usually rather calm in the mornings for Laura, but she was sent a text early that morning by the company VP of all people. It wasn't a bad message, just one saying that she would have a celebrity coming in this afternoon, and Laura was to personally make sure she wasn't bothered, and also treated extremely well.
This wasn't the first time it has happened, living in New York and working at a very special high end store brought some very famous and rich clients around. Laura herself still couldn't believe her luck to work at such a store, let alone be one of the managers of the store.
Laura started working for the store about 8 months ago right out of college. She got a degree in business, but without knowing where to start she decided a full time job would help keep the bills paid until she found her dream job. It was only about a month into her working for the store when the manager in charge of displaying the outfits and wardrobes decided to quit and head to another state as she was starting a family and wanted to live on a ranch. Normally that wouldn't have effected a front line worker like Laura, but after many people failed to bring life and sales from the new display's she was given a shot by leadership.
At all clothing stores, the displays are everything, it's how you position your best items and bring in the most purchases. Working for an upscale women's boutique and lingerie store meant it was even more important to the company. Laure had a special talent for making the displays catch the customers eyes, as well as the arrangement of all the outfits and options.
Since she spent a lot of her high school and college time shopping when she wasn't learning, she ended up being an expert on it all. Her bosses were amazed and after only two months of her redoing the displays and layout of the items, the store was already seeing double the amount of income per purchase.
This led Laura to become a bright star in her companies eyes as a month later, around five months from today, she got a promotion to manager and was now being involved in higher level meetings and on first name basis with a lot of upper management. Laura even got to go on a few trips to other cities to help them redo their store layouts.
While all her bosses and co workers just thought she had a natural skill at it, she knew it was also because of one other thing. Something that Laura herself was very reluctant to share, let alone ever take advantage for herself. Laura's secret was more than just her being a lesbian, it was her two fetishes that went with it.
