They say life is full of ups and downs. Right now life has been one fast ride down with no sign of going up or even leveling out of the wife of Bradley Bennett. At 30 years old and the mother of two young children, Helena Bennett was a sight to be seen, even in her less-than-appealing nurse's uniform. Helena had long dark brown hair that fell to the middle of her bubbly ass. Helena Cortez (her maiden name) was a new nurse at the hospital being shown around when she bumped into Dr. Bradley Bennett after he had just finished consulting with a patient. The seasoned doctor became instantly smitten by the young nurse and her... assets.
The doctor immediately began courting the young woman who had worked hard to become a registered nurse. The fact that she had caught the eye of such a renowned surgeon went to her head. Knowing Dr. Bennett was such a catch she immediately agreed to his proposal when he asked for her hand in marriage. Bradley was her first and he made sure to break in all three of her holes before they returned from their honeymoon in the Cayman Islands. They were married only two years before Helena became pregnant with their first child. A son they named Charles after Bradley's father. Life was good for the next two years until one faithful day when Bradley crashed his Porsche into another vehicle after crossing the centerline.
Helena would learn from the police that Bradley had died instantly along with a high-class hooker that was in his passengers. From the police report, Brad's pants were rundown and the hooker's head was in his lap when they managed to pry the bodies from the car. It was only after his death that several women approached Helena and informed her that her charming husband had been less than faithful to her. Most of the women who were brave enough to admit this only did so as they would no longer be paid off to keep quiet. She would soon learn that her husband had been with many of the staff nurses.
In addition to being humiliated by the realization her husband was unfaithful; she learned that her husband had squandered a large portion of their savings on an investment that didn't pan out. To add insult to injury the insurance company was refusing to pay his life insurance policy as Bradley had been drunk when he died. Helena wasn't able to get a high-priced attorney with so little funds but found a group that adjudicates cases such as this. Right now she was awaiting a settlement but life didn't stop while they went back and forth. As it was Helena had just enough funds to pay off her husband's funeral expenses, with little left for the family bills.
Bradley came from a very rich and influential family. The problem was that his family never really accepted Helena as they always deemed her as beneath Bradley's station. While the men were indifferent, the women loathed Helena for her beauty and physical attributes, attributes they were all lacking. Bradley had never considered death, despite his lifestyle, thus he didn't have a will. The house was fortunately in both his and Helena's name so the Bennett's couldn't kick her out but the house wasn't paid for and there was no way Helena could afford the payment and the other bills on her salary alone. The Bennetts refused to help their daughter-in-law financially save for a trust fund for their 5-year-old grandson when he turned 18.
During her grief, Helena found comfort in the arms of one of the staff doctors. He was friendly and was a shoulder to cry on when she needed it. So it was no surprise after he came over for dinner one night that after two bottles of wine, they ended up in bed together. Helena was so emotionally vulnerable that she went willingly before learning that Dr. Samuels was actually married. She was livid to learn that she was the other woman.
Greg (his first name), was very apologetic and said all the right things that she needed to hear to earn her forgiveness. Greg promised that his marriage was over he just had to file for divorce and then they could be together. Their affair continued and as curves went, life threw her another when she became pregnant with Greg Samuel's baby. Now pregnant Helena began pressuring Greg to speed up his divorce proceedings. The doctor swore that the lawyers were finalizing everything and that as soon as the papers were signed he would marry Helena. To show his sincerity Greg began helping Helena purchase things for their baby and provided her with additional funds for a few months.
Helena had just come from a doctor's visit that Greg was supposed to attend but had not shown up for. After the appointment, Helena called his cell phone only to discover it was no longer in service. She called the hospital to see if he was there but the charge nurse then informed her that Dr. Samuels was no longer employed at the hospital. Apparently, he was leaving the country to take a position at a medical school in Europe. He had left no note for her, nor a forwarding address thus leaving Helena in the lurch both financially, and emotionally. Helena carried her baby to term and gave birth to a healthy baby girl she named Kaylee Bennett. With no family support of any kind, life was tough and she was relegated to help from friends, co-workers, and hired help.
That was 13 months ago. Things were very tough, but the mother of two managed to keep her small family's head above water. She was forced to sell her home and many of their belongings as she wasn't able to afford the mortgage. She moved to a nice middle-class neighborhood. She used the money from the sale of the house to pay off half of the house and kept the remainder to help keep her finances in the black so that she didn't have to work full-time. Her daughter needed her at this young age. At this point in time Helena hadn't spoken to her in-laws in months as her many calls for help had gone unanswered. Then her tenuous financial situation took a dramatic turn for the worse when her daughter, got sick and had to be hospitalized. Her hospital stay, coupled with Helena reducing her hours even more to care for her daughter, drained the family bank account. When she wasn't working or at Kaylee's bedside, she was on the phone battling valiantly to keep the creditors at bay.
So, with no other options, Helena was reduced to calling her mother-in-law one last time to plead for assistance. Marian Bennett, the haughty matriarch of the wealthy family had told her in the coldest, most unsympathetic voice possible.
"The Bennetts feel no responsibility WHATSOEVER to assist you with the care of your child. You saw fit to dishonor our son's memory with your lascivious behavior. Really, dear... did you really think we wouldn't learn the truth about your baby? Word has gotten around about your affair with Dr. Samuels and that he, not my son, is the father of your child. A MARRIED MAN Helena... Have you no shame? Well... your problems are not ours. It's not our fault that he took a job at the University of Oxford. At any rate, DON'T phone us again! If you do, I'll be forced to contact your hospital administrator. You may recall that he is a close and personal friend of my family. Good day!"
After her former mother-in-law finished her tirade, Helena realized that she had never mentioned that Greg had gone to Europe. Not only had she not told the Bennett matriarch this information, but she herself had not been informed that Greg had taken a job at Oxford. That, however, was an issue for another day.
With mounting bills, creditors snapping at her heels, and food and child care she needed to pay for things were very bleak for Helena and her family. Then out of the blue, the answer to her prayers seemingly arrived. Donnie Raskins, one of the hospital orderlies approached her after overhearing her financial woes to another nurse. He had her meet him at an all-night diner where they could talk away from prying ears.
"So you said you know a way to make my problems go away?" A very nervous Helena asked.
"Yes," Donnie says quite confidently. "It's very simple and totally victimless."
"Okay." She replied hesitantly.
"You are responsible for administering Morphine to patients during your rounds... correct?"
