Pam has to drop Sam off first at her house by the reservation, but when she nears it, Sam says, "Stop."
Pam stops the Jeep in the middle of the road. "What?"
Sam turns towards Pam, puts her hand behind her head, and pulls her in for a kiss which turns into them making out. Sam slowly sucks on Pam's tongue and they stop with Sam smiling at her.
Pam says, "Eddie doesn't know we're banging, does he?"
Sam says, "No" while running her finger down Pam's chest, playfully pulling down her shirt a little. "He actually didn't want me to go."
"Why's that?"
Her smile grows. "Dad thinks you're a bad influence."
"Noooo. Eddie loves me."
"He does, but still thinks it's kind of weird I'm hanging out with a woman almost as old as my mother."
"I'm not fucking old, ya bitch."
Sam giggles a little. "Don't be so sensitive. In fact, I prefer older women anyway, so," she sticks out her tongue and leaves it out as an invite.
Pam sucks on it before going back to passionately kissing as they both make "mmm" sounds getting turned on again. Sam grabs Pam's breast and gives it a squeeze. They make out for a little bit longer until they depart.
Pam says, "Your Dad's right, you know?"
"I know. You've corrupted me."
They both laugh and kiss each other a few times before embracing. They're cheek to cheek with Pam running her finger through Sam's hair.
Sam asks, "You want me to come in after this is all done and help you at the bar?"
Pam shakes her head. "No. Honey, you need a day to yourself too. You work your cute buns off all the time, but you need a break."
Sam gives her a look and Pam continues, "Yes, even you, tough girl. Besides, I think you're just making up excuses to see more of me."
Sam smiles. "What can I say? I've seen it all and want more, boss."
Pam takes her finger and turns Sam's head towards her. "You can have me anytime you want."
They make out again for a little bit, running their hands up and down each other's bodies. Sam puts her hand underneath Pam's shirt, under her bra, and grabs her breast. They stop and look at each other, hungry for one another. Suddenly Pam's cell phone rings. Pam tries to grab it, but Sam's hand is stuck in her bra.
"I can't believe I'm saying this, but let my titties go."
Sam yanks. "My hand's stuck." A few more yanks and she gets it out. "There."
Pam grabs her phone off a charger stand she has on the dashboard. Caller ID says Sampson and Wilson Contractors.
She says, "Oh, I gotta take this."
She answers, "Hello! Oh, hey Bill. How's it going? Good. Good. What? You're there? Oh, shit. That was for today? Damn it, I hope you weren't waiting long. Three hours!" She then smiles. "Oh, only fifteen minutes. I completely spaced it and thought it was for Monday. Right. Right. You guys have that big job in Lawrence and that's why you decided on Sunday. I'm sorry. I'm only about ten minutes out. How's about going inside and having yourself some free apple pie on the house for my dumb ass mistake? Of course it's hot. Who the hell likes cold apple pie? Completely un-American. Alright. I'll be right there in a jiff."
Pam hangs up. "I forgot they were coming."
Sam smirks. "See? Told you you were forgetting things."
"Ugh. I guess this means back to the old grind."
Sam grabs her shirt and pulls her toward her. "Yeah, but here's something to look forward to when I get back."
She kisses her and runs her hands through her plaid shirt, hugging her closely as they share one last passionate departing kiss.
Sam stops, smirking with love. "Have a great day, boss."
Pam kisses her again and after takes her thumb to Sam's lower lip, gently pulling it down until it snaps back up. She puts her hand on Sam's cheek. "You too, baby." She bites her lip and says, "I love you."
Pam can see Sam's eyes shining from tears welling up. She says softly, "I love you too."
They kiss again, departing a little more slowly this time, savoring the moment.
Sam says, "I think we need to act casual now."
Pam smiles kind of sadly and sits back in her seat. She puts the Jeep in drive and starts driving down the road again. They can see the Alvarez's two story home up ahead. Pam dropped Sam off at her house by the reservation. Her Dad, Eduardo Alvarez (or Eddie) is a successful businessman, co - owning T & A Lumber. Yes, people pick on the T & A part, saying 'We came here for tits and ass, but all that's here is hard wood.' Yuk yuk. Sam works there in the mornings and works at the Tavern at nights. As Pam and her discussed by the fire last night, she wants to save money to move to Texas. She keeps begging Pam to go along with her, but Pam's home is in Creekville, ME. She always tells her she'll visit and Pam is the type that she would. She never says anything just to make people happy.
The morning for Pam is uneventful for the most part. She stops by the restaurant to meet some contractors because she wants to convert the upstairs into apartments and move her office downstairs. After discussing her plans with them they said they'll get her an estimate sent out to her ASAP.
After she is off to the Tavern, where she will find some early arrivals. When she arrives at the Tavern parking lot, she sees Henry's truck and Danny's car parked in the back. This is where the employees park. Henry is a bartender and Danny is one of the bus boys, so that's not out of the ordinary, but there's a Creekville Police Department cruiser out front and it's Sunday, so that only means one person.
Pam can't believe it. "Really, Leo? This early?"
She gets out of the Jeep and goes inside, but there's nobody in the bar area. She goes out back and can hear voices coming from a small room where she keeps the security cameras.
She hears Danny say, "Go back!"
Henry says, "Okay, okay. Sorry. Pam only gave me a crash course on how to use it when she's away. She didn't exactly give me a manual lesson."
Danny says, "I bet you wish she gave you a manual lesson."
The door is left open and all three men are huddled in this small room together. Even smaller considering Leo's a big guy. Danny is in his early 20s, while Henry is in his mid 30s, and Leo is in his 60s. Most agree in town that he should've retired being a cop years ago, but he only does light foot patrol, some dispatch, and desk work. He's good friends with her father, so she's known him her whole life and he's a good man. He just goes by the motto, "It's five o' clock somewhere" a little too much. They're in front of the four computer screens that make up the security camera feeds for the Tavern. Pam stands outside the door, wondering what they are watching.
Leo asks, "Where's the sound?"
That's where she sees the bottle of beer in Leo's hand and Pam shakes her head. She can't believe he's drinking on the job again and that these two nimrods are allowing it.
Henry answers Leo, "Oh, right. Uhhh. Here."
He presses a button on the keyboard and all they can hear is a humming noise.
Danny says, "Come on, man. Zoom in. Zoom in."
Henry is getting frustrated, "Jesus Christ, Danny. I'm about to shove this keyboard up your ass. Give me a second."
Leo asks, "Danny, is the video really that great for you to be acting like a squirrel on crack?"
Danny looks at him seriously and nods his head. "Leo ... it's fucking hot, dude."
Leo mocks Danny, "Okay, DUDE. I'll be the judge of that ... if Henry can get it to work."
