FAYE 2023 (PART 3)
Introduction
My name is Faye Moore; I am twenty eight and was married with two kids. I was married for eight years to Dave, my ex-husband. The divorce went through at the end of 2022. I am attractive not stunning with a 34-26-36 with blond hair (usually in a ponytail) and blue eyes. I try to go to the gym at least three to four times a week to stay in shape. It is my one refuge from work or home these past few years. I started going after my friend from work Sally encouraged me to join her when I complained about having gained weight after the birth of the kids. Sally is just a few years younger than me and goes five days a week and is serious about her fitness. This is my story of the last three years from the end of my marriage to the beginning of a new chapter of my life.
2023 (part 2)
After my night with Jennifer we met several more times over the preceding weeks, but I quickly realized that even though I liked her, it was just about the sex. I was experimenting, finding myself and enjoying this new sexual journey I was on. I wasn't about to jump into a relationship. I wanted to have some fun and enjoy myself. Life carried on pretty much as before thou I had to cut back on the amount of time I was going to the gym. I had developed a muscle strain in my right shoulder that my physiotherapist told me needed to be rested. I met Sally and her new girlfriend Ann for lunch one day shortly after. Ann was able to tell me about an all-women's (lesbian, bi) group that went running just off college campus near the national park. She didn't have all the information but was able to tell me where they met up.
I knew the area, as I had been there with the kids for walks, cycling etc. The national park was huge but was well mapped out and marked for those who wish to use the shorter circuits and go for a walk or a run. There were also some trails for the more adventurous who might want to go on a camping or hiking trek for days. I decided to look up the information on the site Ann gave me and find out the times and days they met up. Due to the days I had the kids, I could make every second weekend and one evening for the running group. As I hadn't run in a long time I decided to do a few practice runs on my own just so I wouldn't be shown up, I'm competitive. I showed up one afternoon on my own, parked my car in a car park near the public toilets, did a bit of light stretching, iPod's in and started to run the 5 km trek.
I maintained a steady pace throughout not pushing it too hard as I knew there were a few hills I had to traverse. I passed quite a few people who were out walking, cycling and a few runners like myself. As I neared the end of my run and rounded the corner to go left to the car park, I noticed some girls. They looked like they were from the college due to their casual dress. As I passed them I could feel eyes on me as if I was being watched. I made my way to my car and took out a small hand towel and deodorant to clean up a bit before driving home. As I turned to walk to the public toilets, I caught the girls looking at me and giggling clearly at something that was said by one of them. One of the group, a tall blonde girl, made eye contact with me and smiled in my direction.
I walked into the toilets, moving to the far end to a sink and slowly peeled off my sweaty hoodie, using my hand towel to dry myself. Just then I heard someone enter, though I didn't turn to see who it was immediately as I was busy fixing myself. I could feel someone move to the sink next to me which caused me to turn. It was the tall blonde girl; I had seen earlier and she started to wash her hands.
The tall blondes smiles at me and says, "Hi"
"Hi", I reply putting some deodorant on.
She said "I hope I'm not disturbing you."
I said "no, not at all."
"I haven't seen you running here before," she said.
"I was told by a friend, of a running group that runs here some evenings a week and at the weekend that I could join. I am just scouting the trek before I officially join", I said a bit bemused by the questioning.
"What running group is it?" she asked.
"They are called out here," I said smiling.
She smiled a knowing smile "they are an all-girl running group."
