"Happy Halloween!" Yvette called out as the heavy glass doors opened.

Stepping into the lobby of the Boyd Investments Group building, Martin Boyd looked at the smiling face of the receptionist, Yvette Petitjean's and shook his head, smirking. Yvette's customary smile widened as she greeted her employer.

"I am so glad that Halloween is only once a hear," Martin said, looking at Yvette's Raggedy Ann costume, complete with red yarn wig.

"And what are you supposed to be?" Yvette challenged.

"I? I'm shocked you don't recognize the outfit," Martin said, drawing himself to his full height. "I'm the superhero known as 'Man who signs your paycheck.'"

"Oh. Superhearo? More like dastardly villain," Justine Tennirjen quipped as she walked past Martin and Yvette on her way to her second floor office. "Good morning, Yvette."

"Yes, I am glad Halloween is only once a year," Martin sighed, looking at Justine's 'Cat Woman' costume.

"Aaww!" Justine said, making the 'aw' sound more like a cat's yowl.

Yvette shot Justine an amused grin before answering her ringing telephone. Martin shook his head as he followed the very thin young woman down the corridor toward the bank of elevators. The black satin material of the costume hugged the blonde's form, highlighting that she had no breasts and hardly any buttocks. The black tail twitched to and fro as she walked.

They rode the elevator to the second floor in comfortable silence. Disembarking the elevator, Martin turned left, heading to the corner office. Justine turned right, heading to her small office; the 'Broom Closet' as she had dubbed the eight by eight foot room. Martin wished the young employee a 'Happy Halloween' as he unlocked his office door.

While Justine was logging onto the Boyd Investments Group's network, Yvette was downstairs at her desk, greeting a few more employees as they entered the lobby. The two that were wearing costumes were greeted warmly. The three that were not wearing costumes were treated to Yvette's scowl.

"Oh my God! Ayesha! Did you and Liadan get together?" Yvette asked as Ayesha McMann entered the lobby, dressed as a very sexy angel.

"No! Why? Aw, don't tell me she's an angel too, huh?" the attractive bi-racial girl whined, stomping her sandal on the tiled floor.

"You just going have see for yourself," Yvette smiled a knowing smile. "Oh! Oh, hold still. Let me get a picture for Stevie!"

Yvette's baby brother Steven had an undisguised crush on the dark skinned beauty. Ayesha struck a pose, playfully edging the ridiculously short skirt of her costume up, almost exposing her crotch. Then, glancing around the lobby, Ayesha leaned toward Yvette. Yvette hurriedly snapped another picture of Ayesha's impressive cleavage in the scoop neck of the costume as the woman leaned forward.

"Tell Stevie I'm going be in the December issue of Parasol," Ayesha whispered. "I'm on Santa's 'Naughty list.'"

"I will give you fifty bucks for one if you autograph it for him," Yvette said, reaching for her purse.

"Tell you what, girlfriend," Ayesha smiled, displaying her dimpled left cheek. "It'll be a Christmas gift for you; they said they're sending me five copies of it."

"Oh, I will be his favorite big sister for sure," Yvette laughed happily.

"How many big sisters he got?" Ayesha asked, walking toward the hallway.

"Me," Yvette admitted, then greeted the next newcomer to the lobby of Martin Boyd Investments Group.

Ayesha walked past the bank of elevators. Glancing into the break room, she saw Dalton Burke, the handsome head of the IT Department making himself a large mug of coffee. He had a twenty four ounce ceramic mug that read 'Just as I suspected, I was right all along.' He used two of the Bold Roast Keurig KPods to prepare his first cup of coffee and drank countless cups of coffee all day long.

She smirked when he turned, mug in hand. He was wearing a short sleeved white shirt with button down collar, a black tie that he had tied so that the narrow end hung down well past the wide end and plaid polyester slacks that were at least two inches too short for him. White socks, black oxfords and a vinyl pocket protector completed the Nerd outfit. He smiled widely as he saw Ayesha looking at him.

"Cute costume; you and Liadan get together?" he asked as he exited to the break room, turning left toward his office.

"No. She an angel too?" Ayesha asked, admiring his taut buttocks in the snug plaid polyester slacks.

"You'll just have to see for yourself," he smiled, entering his office.

Entering the last room on the right, Ayesha scanned the room, looking for the young red head. Turning her computer on, Ayesha clocked in. After clocking in, Ayesha made sure she logged off of the network and got to her feet. She approached the third cubicle on her row which was Liadan's cubicle.

"You got to be kidding!" Ayesha exclaimed, then burst into peals of laughter.

Liadan turned, impish smile on her pretty face. Seeing Ayesha, her brilliant golden brown eyes opened wide. Then she too began to laugh.

On Liadan's head was a head band, hidden beneath her flaming red hair. Two plastic horns of red protruded from the coppery hair. Her blood red long sleeved body suit showed off her large breasts, hard nipples and tightly crinkled areolae and nipped in waist. Her crotch was barely covered by a short blood red skirt; cloth covered barbed tail protruding from underneath the skirt. Her muscled legs were covered by blood red micro-fishnet stockings.

"You look great!" Liadan exclaimed, admiring Ayesha's angel costume.

"You too, but, quick, log out of the network," Ayesha said, motioning toward the ladies room across the hall of the large room.

"Hmm?" Liadan asked, but did log off.

Grabbing her purse, Liadan followed Ayesha across the hall. She admired how the 'Angel Halo' hovered above Ayesha's gleaming head, propped up by a thin dark colored stiff wire. She found herself watching the short white pleated skirt of Ayesha's costume as it swished back and forth, back and forth, giving teasing little glimpses of Ayesha's milk chocolate buttocks perched just above the cuffs of her thigh high white stockings.

Inside of the gleaming, well-lighted and very clean restroom, Ayesha fumbled in her purse then produced a box of adhesive bandages. Searching in the box, she pulled out two circular beige colored bandages and held them up for Liadan's inspection.

"Don't know if you noticed," Ayesha smiled, the dimple in her left cheek pronounced. "But your nipples? You can see your nips right through your top.

"I, oh!" Liadan gasped, looking critically at herself in the large mirror over the long vanity.

In the mirror, Liadan could clearly see the indentations of her areolae and hard nipples poking through the very snug garment. Her face flamed bright red as she thought of her coworkers seeing her nipples as they admired her costume. She also wondered why none of them had said anything.

"I know; can't wear a bra with that top," Ayesha commented and worked the front of her own top down.

Liadan blinked at Ayesha's ease at baring her large breasts to another woman. She looked and saw that Ayesha had taken two similar circle shaped bandages and covered her dark colored areolae and nipples. The outer rim of Ayesha's areolae were visible but when Ayesha again wiggled her top up, her areolae and bandages were not noticeable in the stretchy white costume.

"You want to do it or you think you going need help?" Ayesha asked, once more holding the two bandages out for Liadan.

"I uh, you, you help me?" Liadan asked, mouth dry.

"Sure," Ayesha smiled, dimple on full display.

Liadan looked at a spot on the bathroom wall just over Ayesha's halo as she worked the top of her blood red body stocking down. Her hard nipples became even harder as the cool air of the small room hit them. She continued to stare at the spot, thankful for the panty liner she'd put in the snap crotch of her costume.

Ayesha looked up and smiled widely at the adorable blush on Liadan's very pretty face. Focusing her attention on Liadan's pale white breasts, Ayesha peeled the backing from one bandage and brought the beige colored circle to Liadan's half-dollar coin sized areole and centered the bandage over Liadan's diamond hard fat nipple. She took great care to smooth the sterile gauze portion over the hard nipple.

"Mmph!" Liadan let out a small moan.

"I know," Ayesha giggled. "Did mine right before leaving my house? Almost had to... Well, you know."

"Ooh!" Liadan gasped, finally pulling her eyes from the wall to look into Ayesha's deep brown eyes.

"And..." Ayesha said, finishing her ministrations.

"Thanks, Ayesha," Liadan smiled, working the scoop neck of her costume up and covering her breasts again.

"You're welcome," Ayesha said, dropping the backings of the two bandages into the trash can. "I mean, seriously? Mr. Boyd would have seen you? Next thing you know, you'd been in Ms. Wilson's office."

"Ms. Wilson?" Liadan asked.

"HR. She's one had her daughter die? Cancer?" Ayesha whispered as they crossed the hall from bathroom to the Secretarial Pool.

"Speaking of..." Ayesha said as the haggard looking woman appeared in the doorway.

"Ayesha! Just the woman I was looking for," the woman smiled her odd half-smile, half grimace.

"Yay!" Ayesha whispered and Liadan giggled.

Just before lunchtime, Ayesha returned from the HR office. She was good at her job; she knew she was good at her job. Every job performance review had shown that she was good at her job; each job review had also garnered her an increase in her salary. But Wendy Wilson just had a way of making Ayesha feel just a little off-balance, a little unsure of herself.

"Hey!" Liadan beamed at Ayesha as Ayesha prepared to clock out.

"Hey!" Ayesha returned Liadan's smile.

"Listen, I didn't bring lunch; I been dying to try that Chinese buffet right across from here?" Liadan said in a rush of words, even pointing in the direction of the small restaurant. "You come with me?"

"Get anything but their pork," Ayesha counseled and she clocked out then shut her computer off.

"Aren't you two supposed to be sitting on someone's shoulders?" Yvette teased as Liadan and Ayesha walked through the lobby toward the front door.

"Well, that's why we're here," Liadan said, smiling.

"We come to sit on your shoulders," Ayesha agreed. "We're going tell you what to do."

"Go away," Yvette laughed. "Like I don't already have enough trouble from my own devil and angel?"

"She was a couple years ahead of me in Northside," Liadan said, looking both ways before dashing across the two lane asphalt highway. "God! In high school? She was such a bitch!"

"What? Yvette?" Ayesha asked, surprised.

"Yeah, I know, huh?" Liadan agreed, slowing once they'd safely crossed the highway.

"And Northside? Boo!" Ayesha laughed as they approached the restaurant.

"Oh yeah?" Liadan asked. "Where'd you go? Cabrini?"

"Cab... No. Way! Wouldn't go there if you'd begged me," Ayesha smiled, opening the door for them. "Elgee. Go Eagles."

As they ate, Liadan and Ayesha chattered back and forth. Liadan told Ayesha about growing up in an overly religious home. Even though her parents had the money and could have sent her to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School, they refused to send her to that 'Den of Iniquity.' In their eyes, in the eyes of their church, the Catholics were evil incarnate, distorting the word of God and misleading their faithful.

"Then my mom all of a sudden up and run off with Reverend Monjuri? Now my dad don't even go to church anymore," Liadan finished her tale.

"Don't know how they thought St. Thomas was sinful but Northside was not. I mean, you could do a drug deal right in front of the school; I saw fist fights every day, saw kids get stabbed; one kid died right in front of me. But oh no! Can't go to a Catholic school," Liadan shook her head.

"Yeah, sounds pretty much like Elgee," Ayesha agreed. "Drugs, fights, girls getting pregnant all over the place."

Liadan looked up from her lackluster Hot & Sour soup at Ayesha's smooth head. Ayesha's head was shiny, as if she had polished it to a gleam. She had natural black eyebrows and long eyelashes, yet her head was bald.

"I, can I ask? I mean, about your head?" Liadan asked.

"Sure," Ayesha said.

"Well?" Liadan pressed after emptying her bowl of soup.

"Oh. You can ask. Don't mean I'm going answer," Ayesha laughed, getting up to get another plate of food.

"Come on!" Liadan protested and Ayesha laughed.

Returning to their table, Ayesha shot Liadan a smile. Then, after sprinkling some chow mein noodles into her egg drop soup, Ayesha stuck her fork into her vegetable lo mein.

"My mom's white," Ayesha began. "Obviously, my dad's black, but my mom is this real cute blonde. Me and my two sisters? We all got my mom's last name; my dad don't want no stupid little cunts running around with his name."

"Cu... He, he actually called y'all..." Liadan gasped, golden brown eyes wide.

"Still does. Oh, but Alonzo and Darius? Yeah, they Duplantis; they his boys," Ayesha said, voice hard.

"God!" Liadan shook her head, scraping the last of her Mongolian Beef onto her fork.

"But anyway, me and my cousin, we get it in our heads we going make me look like my momma," Ayesha said. "You try the Mandarin Beef? It's pretty good."

Liadan returned a minute later with a bowl of egg drop soup and a plate of Mandarin Beef, Kung Pow chicken and some peanut fried rice. She ate quickly, indicating the lateness of the hour.

"Anyway, we went on up to the Wal-Mart and stole some hair straightener and some hair coloring; I was 'eleven and my cousin was 'bout twelve, maybe thirteen," Ayesha continued. "So, you think we read the directions?"

"Oh no!" Liadan said.

"Hair starts falling out; my cousin freaks and runs on out of there, my momma's in there screaming at me," Ayesha went on.

"Like that's really what you needed at that moment, huh?" Liadan sympathized.

"Now? Whenever some hair does grow in? It's just real scraggly stuff, just these little patches here and there," Ayesha said. "So, since it looks all nasty? I just shave it."

"And how you get it so shiny?" Liadan asked, even reaching a hand out.

"You can touch it," Ayesha said, leaning forward for Liadan's touch.

"That, God! That is so smooth!" Liadam praised, actually rubbing Ayesha's head for a moment.

"I take some avocado oil; Yvette's mom does that essential oil stuff? And I add in a bunch of oils supposed be good for the skin," Ayesha said. "After I get out the shower I spray that on. Right before I dressed? I grab my pad; I got me this micro-suede pad and I just buff it all up."

"I, I bet that's good for after you shave your legs, huh?" Liadan asked.

"You know what? I, I never even thought of that," Ayesha giggled happily. "Better believe I'm going use that tomorrow, though!"

"So, what all it got in it?" Liadan asked as they waited to cross the street. "And, thank you for buying me lunch."

"You welcome," Ayesha said and they sprinted across the blacktop road.

"Anyway, it's got, um, I use jasmine, oh! I just love the way that stuff smells," Ayesha said as she pulled the door of the Boyd Investment Group building open for them.

"Jasmine? Hmm, I bet that does smell good," Liadan agreed.

"Hey, Yvette; telling Liadan about your mom's essential oil business," Ayesha greeted the receptionist.

"Oh! She orders through me? Jill gives me a cut," Yvette agreed.

"Then I use chamomile, um, Neroli and Rose oil," Ayesha continued as they entered the hall.

Leaning close to Liadan, Ayesha whispered, "The chamomile, the Neroli, and the Rose? Supposed to help with that time of the month too. You know what? I, I bet it does. I've not really had real bad cramps since I been getting my oil from Yvette's Mom."

"Just from putting it on your head?" Liadan asked, skeptical.

"Yeah, something about aroma therapy I think," Ayesha said, pausing by her desk.

"Aroma... Oh it absolutely works," Kerrie Morris insisted from her cubicle next to Ayesha's cubicle. "I have this diffuser..."

Ayesha tuned out the bubbly blonde's prattle. Kerrie was sweet, but somewhat empty-headed. Also, Ayesha had an inter-office memo to meet with Justine at twelve forty five and that took Ayesha's attention away from Kerrie's blathering.

Justine had Ayesha quite busy until ten minutes before five. With a smile, Justine wished Ayesha a Happy Halloween; she needed to get home to her family. Ayesha shot a glance at the framed photograph on Justine's desk; it showed Justine and a slender red head posed together, both cuddling with a six or seven month old baby girl. The baby had a wide smile to match the smiles of the women.

Ayesha slowly made her way to her cubicle, lest any other supervisor decide they needed Ayesha to stay late. Stepping off of the elevator, she turned left and headed down the hall.

"Now, HE wants me to stay late..." Ayesha thought as she sauntered past the IT Office, shooting Dalton a smile and wave.

"So, um, what, what you doing um, tonight?" Liadan asked as Ayesha prepared to clock out.

"Hmm? I, nothing really," Ayesha said, looking up at the red headed devil. "I mean, they got that Monster Movie Marathon on Channel twelve. You?"

"Aw, come on," Liadan said, indicating her costume. "We look too good to just sit at home and watch some stupid movies."

Ayesha smiled and asked, "Okay, so what you want to do?"

Liadan shrugged and said, "I don't know. But, there's got to be something we can do."

"Give me a second," Ayesha said, plucking her cell phone from her purse.

"Okay; I need to clock out anyway," Liadan said, walking back to her own cubicle.

Ayesha went to the St. Ann's 'Out & About' web site. All of the Halloween activities seemed geared toward kids; this made Ayesha smile wistfully. She wished her mother and father would have splurged for a computer when she had been young enough to enjoy some of these activities. Trick or treating and a haunted mansion at the St. Ann Public Library looked like it would have been a blast for a nine or ten year old Ayesha McMann.

"St. Elizabeth Parish had an activities web site named 'Around Town' and Ayesha saw that the Vermillion nightclub was having a costume contest. Absently, she went ahead and clocked out the moment her computer said it was 5:00 PM.

"Okay, we're going to win first place at the Vermillion," Ayesha smiled when Liadan returned to stand behind Ayesha.

"I, I can't get in there; I'm only eighteen," Liadan said.

"So? They just stamp your hand with a big old 'X' lets them know you're not old enough to drink," Ayesha assured Liadan as she waited for her computer to shut down.

Yvette wished them a good night. Ayesha asked the pretty brunette what she planned to do and with a huge smile, Yvette said she was taking her two step-sisters trick or treating.

"That is not the same girl I went to high school with," Liadan verified as they stepped into the covered parking deck.

"She's always been as sweet as pie ever since I been working here," Ayesha said. "This is me."

Liadan said nothing as she looked at Ayesha's Smart Car. Her father and her two brothers had some pretty disparaging things to say about the 'golf carts' as they whizzed around the greater DeGarde area. Ayesha unlocked her door and waited.
