After another expectedly quiet walk to the main dining room, they arrived to see the table still being tended to by two staff members dressed like they were the ones coming to dinner instead. Andie suddenly felt far under dressed in her casual outfit, but since Narcissa wasn't dressed much better she wasn't sure why it was bothering her. Maybe she was more worried that she wasn't dressed nicely enough for Ms. Cross and wondered how that thought had even entered her head.

Narcissa walked around to what was obviously her usual seat and Andie followed along assuming they would sit near each other, but like an annoying fly, Narcissa shooed her away and pointed to a seat that was a fair distance from her own. Andie followed the somewhat impolite silent command and headed to the seat she had indicated, near the end of the table, oddly positioned at a corner.

Narcissa sat down, so Andie followed, not really sure what the protocol was for dinner in their home. Andie fiddled with her hands under the table trying not to disturb the fine-looking place setting that was perfectly arranged at her spot even though she so wanted to touch the gorgeous flatware that seemed too fancy to use to feed her lowly face. The staff finished up a few more touches around the ornate centerpiece and other table dressings that sat interspersed with plates and napkins and rushed out the service entrance to what Andie assumed was the kitchen or prep area of some kind. She could smell food, but she wasn't sure what she was smelling, so she just closed her eyes and enjoyed it.

She heard the tiniest of sounds from the entrance they had used and opened her eyes to see what was going on, and she wasn't sure if she had fallen asleep into another horny dream or not. Divinity strode into the dining room with the simplest of black dresses draped over her perfect form, with lace panels that extended from just below her waist to above her knees, a simple pair of black stockings underneath as the lace of the dress needed no other decoration. She held the sheerest of lace shawls, that hung at her elbows, and crossed around the middle of her back. It could have easily been a feather boa from a vintage burlesque show with the skillful way she worked it over her exposed skin, a distraction to lure the eyes toyingly to where she wanted them.

In black from head to toe again, she looked as slender as could be, except where age had added its ongoing improvements. The subtle sway of her hips was accentuated by the way she pranced along her imaginary cat walk and the dangerously high heels again. Her posture, with her shoulders held so perfectly, presented the two near perfect tear drops, clinging to the thin band of her dress straps, no hint of an undergarment disturbing the scant line that ran along her shoulders to a wide open back. Andie was pretty sure she had gasped and gulped and made a few other noises at the sight she beheld.

"Mother!" Narcissa shot her mother a look as she spoke. "Seriously, what am I going to do with you?"

"Ms. Cross." Andie gulped as she couldn't help but stare. "You look lovely this evening."

"Cissy, you really should take a cue from your friend here, she's much better at the compliments than you are." Divinity replied, a devilish grin on her face as she stared at her daughter. "Thank you, Andie, or should I say Ms. Hawk, if we're going to be so formal with each other. Really, please call me Divinity. I think it would help reduce the awkwardness between us."

Divinity, made a sweeping pass around the table to show off every line and curve that her dress wasn't concealing, and some of them that it was, and then returned to the seat directly opposite Andie, the shawl hung like an ornament resting against the back of her seat. She leaned over to loosen the straps of her shoes before tossing them to the side and settling herself in place. The mid length hem of her dress inched up slightly and the panels split along the lines of her legs, revealing much more thigh than Andie was expecting to see. But after staring awkwardly at the show Divinity put on leaning over to remove her shoes, that was still fairly modest.

Andie assumed she was probably beet red having just been shown the entire world and some of the hidden treasures that few were privy to. She focused on her breathing which she had suddenly realized had stopped and exhaled quickly, then gulped in deep breaths of air. She didn't care that it wasn't the most graceful presentation she could manage as she was never known for that and wasn't about to start trying now.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upstage the appetizer." Divinity said mischievously as she shook out her napkin and draped it across her lap, now covered by more cloth than was on her entire dress, at least according to Andie's eyes.

Cissy rolled her eyes hard again, but no one was paying much attention to her, which she actually expected, and preferred, if there was going to be some kind of improper adult revue during her meal. Andie followed suit and shook out her napkin, not sure exactly what to do with it as she rarely used the ones she got from take out, and always wanted to tuck hers under her chin when dining out. She knew her limits.

The two staff that had been busy with the table entered again, this time carrying a large tureen and a set of soup bowls for the initial course. They set the tureen down on the side board and removed the lid. The aroma quickly filled all of Andie's taste and scent receptors and sent her body nearly into a foodgasm. The richness of the broth along with the herbs and vegetables all slow cooked together overwhelmed her like no other food experience she could remember.

The staff ladled out a bowl and set in down in front of Andie, being their guest, then one for Cissy and finally Divinity, as the eldest and the matriarch of the family.

Andie loved the aroma, but looked suspiciously at the mix in front of her. She was expecting a simple beef stew of sorts, but did not recognize that in her bowl. Cissy saw her confusion and chimed in.

"Oxtail soup." Cissy said smiling for such a brief moment Andie couldn't read any of the underlying tones in it.

"The chef does such a wonderful job with it, that I try to have it as often as I can, but it's so rich." Divinity added. "The textures and flavors tease the taste buds like almost nothing else in the world, save for a very few things."

Andie heard the words, but it was the deep richness of the voice that spoke them that resonated more along with what she wanted to taste on her tongue at that moment. She dipped her spoon in and raised a small amount to her lips, trying not to look too picky about it, but was rewarded with an explosion of flavors as she sipped the broth. She was savoring it in her mouth and swallowed hard suddenly coughing a bit as she felt the subtle brush of a foot along the inside of her leg and realized why the odd positioning of the seating arrangements.

Cissy looked up and stared, first at Andie to see if she was all right, then at her mother to see the impish smile she had on her face, and scowled at her, dropping her spoon loudly onto the table, trying to break whatever spell her mother was weaving. Andie for her part had recovered from the food that had been misdirected by her errant swallow, but had not broken eye contact with Divinity through all of it.

"What? I was just stretching my leg a bit. Was that you, Andie? I'm sorry, I assumed it was the table leg." The deepness of the tone in Divinity's voice left Andie with no choice but to pardon her apparently errant foot and she nodded in response to the rhetorical question directed her way.

"This is the worst I've seen you mother. You have to learn to behave." Cissy almost spat out broth as she chastised her mother.

"I don't know how many more chances I have, my darling daughter, to make sure the future is intact." Divinity replied, her tone a bit softened, almost sweet, but still resonating at Andie's frequency and leaving no question she was enjoying every moment of it.

"You keep talking like that. It doesn't excuse your behavior. The inappropriate conduct, the prancing around like a showgirl, that ridiculous outfit for a woman your age." Cissy seemed to have reached a breaking point.

"It's no worse than any of that art you like to draw. And what do you mean a woman my age. Precious child, it is only with the greatest love for you that I do anything at all." The mothering came heavy and all at once.

"Art? You draw sexy art?" Andie piped up, suddenly the most interested in Narcissa she had been.

"Hmmpphh." Cissy slammed down her spoon and tossed her napkin at the table as she stood, clearly frustrated. "I'll take the rest of dinner in my room, thank you, and good night!"

She stormed out leaving Andie and Divinity to finish their dinner together, albeit a bit more awkwardly than either would have liked. When Divinity rose after their sweets course was complete, she asked Andie if she would like to join her for an after-dinner drink and a little something to nosh on along with it in the sitting room.

"Sorry about that exchange with Cissy. She really is a great kid and a nice person underneath all that crusty veneer. I blame her father's family. They were always very strict and her early years were formed in a much different crucible than what I would have liked. She was never happy about the split, but had come to terms with it." Divinity smiled at Andie and moved as if to give her a hug. Andie stood, frozen in place, and accepted the embrace, but didn't know what to do with her arms. "I understand. I just wish Cissy could see that everything I do, I do for her, and only her. She has an amazing future ahead of her if she would just accept it."

"Maybe just for a little bit, I'm actually quite tired, but I have so many questions, especially after that revealing nugget." Andie replied, figuring since she was in it for a pound already. "I'm so into good sexy fantasy art, I would love to see some of her shit, I mean sketches."

"Splendid. Do you like cheese?" Divinity whispered a bit oddly as she draped her shawl clad arm over Andie's slumping shoulder, relaxing even more at Divinity's touch. "And no need to clean yourself up for me, or Cissy really."

They walked along together through the double doors across from the entrance they had used when arriving which opened into a grand sitting room. Once again Andie was left to wonder where exactly the massive house ended as every room seemed to be larger than the last. Leading them to the farthest corner from the entrance again, Divinity seated them awkwardly next to each other on a large loveseat, or a very small sofa, as it turned out, Andie wasn't much of an expert in anything as she struggled to wrap her mind around so many new things.

Divinity gestured to one end of the loveseat, and Andie obliged, as Divinity let her settle in before sitting dangerously close to Andie's relaxed leg, which she almost reflexively moved, until a firm hand took hold of it and gave it a reassuring tug to keep it in place.

"Relax. You seem very uptight, and I don't think that's your typical style." Divinity shared another unexpected opinion. "What is it about me that makes you so uncomfortable?"

Andie's brain tried to figure out the words to respond, but was having a hard time putting them in the right order or trying not to sound offensive. Divinity was a stunning woman, and Andie should feel more than honored that she appeared to be flirting with her, even if it seemed contrary to her previously stated objective. Andie thought she could read flirting pretty well when it involved others, but had always struggled when it involved her. Having just found out how much of a catch she was had been enlightening, especially given how little luck she had been having in that department. Now to hear she was also considered a prize by a very attractive mature woman was even more of a shock. She wondered if she had just been underselling herself the entire time.

"It's not specifically you, as much as it is the entire situation here." Andie said quietly. "This has all happened very fast, and to be honest I'm not exactly sure what has happened, or is supposed to happen? I feel like I've been hired for a job, with no idea what I'm supposed to be doing. So, I'm fucking confused."

Divinity looked down at her lap where her hands had been idling about before looking up. "I haven't been completely transparent with you, and I apologize, but I'm afraid I can't really be open until you've achieved a few levels of trust, consider it the start of your new adventure." Andie looked at her as a hand reached out to gently caress her thigh again, while Divinity leaned in. "There are several paths the adventure could take, and most of it depends entirely on you. I did read you right, you like women, correct?"

Andie swallowed hard while her heart and brain raced headlong against each other for the speed trials. She finally stammered out a weak, "Yes?"

"That doesn't sound like the Andie I'm expecting. Relax, there's really no pressure here, it's all in your head." Divinity lifted her hand to gently move Andie's hair slightly and touch her temple. "And I need it to be in your heart." As she lowered her hand, an extended finger tracing down along Andie's cheek, her neck, then circling around her uncooperative boob that had called the troops to attention again at the seductive encounter with Divinity. It finally landed in the general area of where Andie's heart had been replaced by her stomach. Her anatomy was doing calisthenics trying to keep up with all the conflicting emotions she was having.

"Fuck, yes?" Andie managed, her breath catching a bit.

"That's a start." Divinity smiled and retreated back to lean against the cushion of the loveseat. "Cissy just needs a good peer influence and a better friend to help her figure things out. She's trapped inside that mess of her upbringing and struggling to find herself, I'm sure of it."

Andie wasn't sure how to respond, so she just nodded to acknowledge that she got it.

"Good, now, a little spot of something? A little cheese? Anything else you see that you might want to indulge in?" Divinity winked at Andie, and smiled, but it was more of a friendly smile, and Andie assumed she was just kidding around at that moment, but wasn't sure. She also wasn't sure she wanted to test that hypothesis after a couple drinks with the way her libido was getting after her at that moment either.

"Can I get a rain check. I really am pretty tired, and I think it might be better if I just got a good night's sleep tonight. I mean, if you want me to be at all useful tomorrow." Andie tried her best attempt at diplomacy.

"I completely understand. Perhaps tomorrow you will be around a bit earlier and we can spend some more time getting better acquainted." Divinity replied standing as Andie had stood to leave. She reached out to embrace Andie again, and this time Andie reciprocated and found her hands fully on the wide open back of Divinity's dress. Her skin was so soft and warm for being exposed to the cool air of the home. She took in deep breaths of her distinctive fragrance, and let the feelings it evoked wash over her.

Divinity's scent had a definite maturity to it, much less edgy than the raw and youthful burn of Cissy's. There was still a fire that was lit by the younger woman's aroma that teased a certain side of Andie in a way she couldn't quite describe, and certainly wouldn't if she were ever to talk about it in a church. Andie almost felt herself falling into Divinity's embrace a little fuller than she expected, but held on until she could break it off respectfully before heading out the door. Divinity smiled back as she left, more of a motherly smile, but with just a hint of a darkness that Andie understood somehow.

As she left the sitting room, she noticed that the fragrance seemed to travel with her, now fully infused in it herself, like the cloud of Divinity chaperoning her to her room. She managed to find the main foyer and ascended the grand staircase and started to turn toward her end of the hallway, but something made her change her direction. She wandered back the other way, wondering which of the several doors led to Cissy's room. She had taken to keep calling her Cissy from her mother's insistence on the use of the nickname, even though Narcissa had let her know her preference. She really wasn't sure if that was the only reason, or if she subconsciously was trying to establish some hierarchy between them.

She wandered a little longer until she found a door that was still adorned with the artifacts of childhood; some random papers, stickers, and the remnant of a keep out sign. That along with the heavy tray from the rest of dinner gave it away as to the current resident of the room. Andie stopped and looked at some of the things on the door, assuming many of the scraps had been sketched by Cissy herself, nothing outlandish, just some fantasy creatures, but still quite good. She wanted to ask her quite a few questions, but really didn't have the desire to engage in any discussions that night, so she really wasn't sure why she had decided to even bother and just turned back to shuffle to her own, frightfully decorated room.

As she headed back past the main stairway and on to her room, she thought she heard a noise behind her, but turned only in time to see the discarded paper scrap from a pastry that had been eaten off of it moments earlier flutter down to the tray and land in the heap. She looked up to see a darkened silhouette duck back inside and close the door.

She stood for a moment before heading back to her room, processing a bit of what had just happened. Perhaps a breakthrough, or just another awkward moment between the two of them.

......

A racing pulse, sweat that dripped from between her eyebrows and ran down her nose until she tasted the salt on her lips, the shuffling of her bedcovers. Her legs felt hot as she kicked off the heavy coverlet and whatever the top layer was, she had still not decided. A grunt and a whimper as she did. She rolled a little as she felt the pressure against her.

"Jenna. Oh, please, not now, everyone will find out." Andie moaned as her legs were forced farther apart. She felt hands that were exploring as much as they were administering to her pleasure. They traced along the inside of her thighs, pushing her legs down, pinning her as if she needed to be held in place. She had no idea how they had ended up there, but she wasn't about to say no. Then just as quickly as the dream seemed to start it was over.

She awoke, still drenched in sweat, her fingers wet, her panties soaked through and pushed aside. "Not another dream, those are getting more and more intense. And fuck, why her, of all the people I could get into my horny head. I mean she's cute and all, but certainly not my dream girl." Andie said, hoping one of the gargoyles could answer for her as she couldn't make any sense of it.

Andie wiped she sweat from her face, smearing her juices there instead, wondering how she had gotten to such a point while still asleep. She wiped her face against the heavy crushed velvet top layer and smelled the fragrance. Divinity's had still stayed with her for the night it seemed, but as she inhaled again, she noted the sharpness. No, not Divinity she thought.
