We woke Monday morning all smiles and happiness. Chloe had already left the bedroom early in making a delicious and full breakfast for all of us. At 9:30 we arrived at the Women's Hospital meeting with our IVF nurse and counselor. Kevin did what was needed and promised to come back if something additional was needed.

As we left the hospital, the sun shone and the clouds lifted. That night we sat around discussing next steps in our family.

This was all very new for us, the idea of an infant, a baby in our home was unimaginable but we are overjoyed. There is tension, uncertainty and a vast amount of fear.
