Jolene felt annoyed. She had read the same sentence five times and still didn't know what it said. She just couldn't concentrate. The book she was reading was boring and poorly written. There were too many characters and too few of them were interesting. Bored, she closed the book and put it down on the table beside her. With crossed arms she scoffed and leaned back on the couch again to stare up into the ceiling. A few seconds passed.
She looked over at Angelica, completely engrossed in her own book on the other side of the couch. She clearly hadn't noticed Jolene wasn't reading anymore. Jolene admired her while she read. Angelica was sitting comfortably with her legs tucked underneath her. Her long red hair was set up in a messy bun. A few short strands of hair had fallen out and hung over her forehead as she read. Jolene admired the other woman's soft features and the cute way she slightly frowned while reading. To Jolene, Angelica was the most beautiful woman in the world.
