It was close to noon when Ananya, who was at her desk, got distracted by her graphic designer Radhika's sight, her tattoos.
Radhika was wearing a black short sleeved t-shirt with a pair of fitted jeans. When she moved to grab a stack of papers from the office printed, she bent down slightly revealing a bit of her tattoo which Ananya couldn't help but gaze.
Radhika however, caught Ananya's gaze.
"Staring at my tattoos again, do you like them?" She asked.
Ananya looked away quickly.
"I didn't mean to." She said with a blush.
"It's okay Ananya, I know that you look at them. By the way, do you know the story behind them, would you like to know?
Ananya nodded.
"This one's for my grandmother and for all the memories she had given me" she said, tapping her shoulder which had a floral tattoo. The conversation drifted a bit while they discussed tattoos in general and Radhika's love for them.
"Are you heading home?" Ananya asked when it was almost six in the evening.
"Yeah, just finishing up. Do you want to grab a coffee? I know a place nearby." Radhika asked.
"I'd like that," Ananya said in a low voice.
"You know, I may be able to show you the rest of my tattoos sometime if you're interested, maybe over a coffee you know?" Radhika said with a smile.
"Well, I'd like that very much," Ananya said, with some excitement.
The cafΓ© was a small place between two larger buildings. It was a private atmosphere where Ananya went for a cappuccino while Radhika got a cup of black coffee.
"I've always been curious," Ananya admitted as their conversation came back to tattoos.
"I have seen a few, but I'm guessing there's more?"
"I thought you'd never ask," said Radhika with a smile.
"Why don't we go back to my place, Ananya, it's nearby." suggested Radhika.
Ananya nodded and there they wound up at the cafe.
Radhika led Ananya to the living room as they stepped into her cozy apartment. She made Ananya get comfortable on a couch and excused herself for a moment.
