Alexander looked down at his desk, tapping his fingers to it. He was sitting in his office at him, books surrounding him. Cyrus and Greg were sitting in their usually seats at the office. Cyrus on the couch on the side of the room, Greg by the window, looking outside at the beautiful view of New York.
"What's up Alex?" Cyrus asked, tiered of the silence. Actually, he knew damn well what was wrong. That girl that they saw tonight stood up for herself, and Alex didn't like that.
"Where's Mya?" Alex asked, completely off topic. Apparently he didn't want to talk about it. "Shouldn't she be—"
"I'm here," Mya announced, opening the door with a dramatic look to her face. In her hand she held this month's profits, and obviously she was quite proud of her work.
Alex looked at Mya expectantly. He usually hated when people were late, and sometimes people lost fingers because of that. But with Mya it was different. She was his best friend. The two had known each other since grade school, and had even played hide and seek together. They were both loners, Alex because his father told him not to get closed to anyone in his life, and Mya because her father said friends are stupid distractions. They'd broken down barriers back then, when they stood up to their strict fathers and demanded that they let them be friends. Since that moment, they'd been the closest a man and woman could ever be. They were each other's first everything, from kiss to consultant.
When they broke up when they were in high school, they'd even had taken that coolly. The both knew they weren't right for each other for love, but more for a friendship.
But that didn't exactly mean that she was getting out of this. Oh no, he was going to make sure she felt it, and he knew just how to do it too. "You do know that keeping me waiting takes off a thousand."
Mya's eyes narrowed. She hated when Alex decided to punish her, because she was supposed to be 'like everyone else'. Fuck that. She wasn't everyone else. She was Mya fucking Lee, and he wasn't going to forget that shit. "Hmm I wonder who wants to see his numbers...you know, before I 'accidently' burn them." Mya held back a smile while she watched Alex tense. But when she looked in his eyes it was obvious he wasn't in a playful mood this evening. His gray eyes seemed lost tonight, and Mya wondered why.
Alex looked at Mya, or more past her, and thought about how fucking reckless Mya was. Mya was a pretty girl. She had long brown hair, pale, and brown eyes. She was Asian, but she was far from the stereotypes of Asian's. She was quick to get hot, she was attracted to females, she was beyond competitive, and she was more street smart then book, aside from numbers. She was a genius when it came to accounting, and she was scary about it. It was like she was obsessed. But even though she has all those great qualities, that fucking attitude, that kind of shit could get her killed.
Now that he thought about it, she and that other girl from tonight were really alike, with a 'You WILL respect me' attitude. Not that he didn't admire that. Because that's what he demanded, but no matter what, he'd win. It was automatically programmed in him to win. That's why Mya was going to find out who that little bitch from tonight was, and bring her to him. As soon as fucking possible.

"Shiiiitteee!" Nikki screeched, gripping her aching toes. "Fucking assHOLE!" she'd just bang her toe against the living on table, and it hurt like a bitch. She threw herself on the dingy couch she and let out more cries of pain.
"What the fuck sis?" Penny asked, walking past Nikki to go to the kitchen.
"MY FUCKING FOOT!" Nikki shouted, even though the pain was slowly going away.
Penny grabbed a soda and replied, "Oh. Well anyway, Jerry is coming over tonight."
Nikki glared at her sister. "Are you serious? That's like the third time this week!"
Penny glared at her sister and opened the bottle and complained, "First you yell at me for not being in a relationship, then when I decide to settle down, you hate it."
"I don't hate it," Nikki said softly, looking into her sister's greenish-blue eyes. "I just hate that he doesn't have his own place so he comes over here twenty four seven. He's a fucking alcoholic and you know I have to deal with that at work. I don't want that shit at home too."
"So we'll go to his place tonight." Penny replied, sitting down on the floor next to her sister's legs, crossing her own.
"Are you sure that's even safe?" Nikki considered. "I mean, he lives with a bunch of 'runners' for a large mob boss. Isn't it like, one strike and you're out?"
Penny shrugged. "I don't really ask Jerry about that kind of stuff."
Nikki shook her head at her sister's irresponsibility. She didn't know about that stuff either, but regardless she wasn't going to throw herself under the bus. Especially not for a guy. "Ok...well I'm gonna take a shower." Nikki moved toward their shower, and muttered. "I need this night off of me. Fucking asshole." She cursed, recalling the bold man she'd encountered that night. As she turned the shower on, she couldn't help but remember his eyes, they'd been something that stuck in her mind. They were grey, but appeared to be silver, and when he turned to look at her angrily, she couldn't help but get a little tingle in between her thighs. God, that guy was fucking sexy.
Nikki shook her head. "What's wrong with me?"
Normally, Nikki never thought like this. In high school, she'd been called the 'stuck up bitch' because she spent more time studying then dating. She refused to let anyone get in the way of her dreams of opening her own practice, and she especially wasn't going to let a man get in the way. She'd been more homely. Not that she didn't have her share of boyfriends throughout her high school career. It was just that she went for the guys that were smart, that believed in goals, rather than a cute face. Nikki rolled her eyes, thinking about how every guy she'd ever been with had been mentally arousing, but when it came to the bedroom, she'd never actually had a good time with sex. Maybe that's why she tossed the thought of sex away. She wasn't a virgin, but she hadn't had sex in two years, so she might've well been a born-again virgin. She laughed lightly. Her sister was her complete opposite. 'Take no prisoners' was Penny's motto since the day she was born. She applied that to everything that was important to her. Family first, then boys. She'd gotten around quite a lot when they were in high school, regardless of Nikki's never ending warnings about STDs, stupid guys, and the rumors about her. She didn't give a fuck. More often than once, Nikki wished she could be just as free as her little sister, be just as inhabited.
But for some reason, tonight she felt herself slip a little. That guy got to her quick, which wasn't something new, but the fact that she melted at the look he gave her, and even that quick smack he dished to her, got to her. She wasn't usually quick to get turned on. But who the fuck was he? Mimi had acted like he was so special. Was he a model? He looked good enough to be one. But with such an attitude...how did people put up with him? She sure as hell wouldn't.

Nikki walked out of her house at around seven twenty, dressed in Sean John sweats, and her thick curly hair wrapped up in a ponytail. She was carrying her usual duffle bag, filled with her revealing work uniform that consisted of small shorts, that barely covered her thick hips, and a tight white shirt that barely hid her 36C breast. Luckily they'd funded for black jackets that met her torso. More often than not Nikki zipped the jacket up so her unruly costumers wouldn't look down her v-neck. Nikki sighed. When she'd first to the job she'd been 18 and hadn't really known much about the city. She'd come from Westchester, which was more of a suburb in New York. Actually, she didn't have to work at the sleazy place, but she was doing it more to prove a point to her asshole father. She could make it on her own. She didn't need anyone. And she didn't until her sister decided that she couldn't take being suffocated by her father, and wanted to live with her. When Nikki had heard that, her heart had dropped a little. She liked living alone. Not that she didn't like her sister, she actually loved her sister, but living alone had given her a hella lotta freedom. She missed that. "Spare change?" a man sitting on the street held his hands out, so Nikki gave him a ten and moved on. She hated that about herself though. She barely had money, but she couldn't help but not give money to someone less fortunate.
"Hey babe," Mimi shouted excitedly, reaching over to hug Nikki when she walked inside the club. "We aren't working tonight!" her friend sing-songed, shaking her ass a little.
"What?" Nikki asked, her face dropping a little. She needed the paycheck, along with her hefty tips. "Why the fuck not?"
Mimi grinned and pulled her friend with her. "We're still getting paid, don't worry girly, but...we're watching the strippers perform tonight."
Nikki rolled her eyes. This wasn't exactly something new for her. She came here on time every night, so she was always around when the strippers decided to practice a little. "Okay...and your point is?"
"Fresh Meat." Jaryd grinned, placing his hands on both Nikki and Mimi.
Nikki's eyes widened with happiness. "HELL YES!" Nikki shouted, pumping her fist in the air. God she loved Fresh Meat. They were so innocent, and were so gullible and easy to fool. Especially since most of them were dumb blondes who resembled Samantha. "Ahh I almost forgot about Fresh Meat night."
Mimi nodded excitedly, and threw herself on the stripper stage. "Come dance with me Nik." Mimi demanded, holding her hand out. Nikki protested for a few minutes, before she decided, what the hell. No one would see them anyway.
A fellow co-worker turned some music on, beginning with Bobby Valintino's Anonymous. Nikki quickly found the beat and swayed her hips along with it. She loved dancing. She lost her self in the music soon, and everyone surrounding her disappeared.
