One

Mark Power was bright. Talented. And all American. He accelerated his college studies and graduated in 3 years instead of four. With a degree in International Business he was excited to graduate in April.

Mark also knew his girlfriend of 4 years, Sue, was to graduate high school in mid-June just in time for their wedding two weeks later.

While they knew marrying at 18 and 21 was young, they also knew Mark had secured a good job with a major international oil company Lennox Bros. They had already leased a small upscale apartment downtown, 3 blocks from Mark's office. Sue had decided not to work immediately although she had focused on office courses throughout high school - subjects such as word processing, spreadsheet management and office administration.

Mark started work in late May and in early June went to the CEO's office to hand deliver, Mr. Lennox a personal invitation to his wedding.

Other than during his interview Mark had not been in the Executive Suite but rather in the "fish bowl" with the other analysts, sales associates, accountants, lawyers. They were all young, white and educated like Mark - fresh out of school and they all assumed the company saved money by hiring smart, yet inexperienced talent.

When Mark arrived at George Lennox's office he was surprised that the CEO had forgotten his name. Mark stumbled through who he was and what he was doing at Lennox Brothers but still offered to George Lennox an invitation to his wedding in 4 weeks.

" Mark," Lennox bellowed," you did not disclose this during your interview! We cannot have distractions in the office. You need to focus on your job and rushing home after work everyday may be impossible. I am disappointed in you and surprised by this development." Mr Lennox was imposing at 6'4" 280 pounds bald and black.

Staring at the floor, Mark explained that he and Sue had dated for 4 years and that it would not be an issue. That she was just graduating high school and would be staying home, at least in the beginning. Mark apologized and left quickly.

After he left, Lennox thought young white boys getting married so young with even younger brides - foolish when they have new careers. Lennox tossed the invitation into his day timer and gave it no more thought.

Four weeks later Mark and Sue were ready for their small wedding in Mark's parents' backyard. They wanted something simple and affordable as they wanted to save for a house and knew Mark didn't have time for a honeymoon. Sue looked lovely. As Mark was still speaking Lennox took the bride's hand kissing it and saying what a great pleasure it is to meet you - such a beautiful young white bride," Lennox said," and I want to invite you and your new husband to my home next Saturday at 7 pm for a drinks party to celebrate your wedding. My car will pick you up."

Turning from the bride Lennox looked at the new groom and ordered, "Mark, my office Monday at 9 am - do NOT be late."

TWO

The week went by and the office was a buzz as all the young workers had been invited to the CEO's home for drinks to celebrate the marriage of one of their own. They were told to wear business suits for the 7 to 10 pm event.

On Friday, as Sue was unpacking the last of the wedding gifts the apartment buzzer rang and a large box was delivered to her door addressed Mrs. Power.

She opened the attached card -

Dear Mrs. Power,

Please do not think of this is as forward. I do realize you are newly married and not working and as I did not get you a wedding gift I thought I would send this to welcome you to the company and tell you how forward we are to seeing you Saturday night at me home. Every lovely bride should have a "little black dress."

George Lennox

Sue opened the box to find an exquisite designer black cocktail dress. With tiny shoulder straps it was basically backless to the waist, low cut in the front and, Sue could tell, quite short. Also in the box were sheet black stockings, a garter and 5 inch strappy stilettos.

She was impressed that the CEO would be so kind and more impressed that he would think of such a thoughtful gesture as she was unaccustomed to these kinds of events.

The next day Mark put on a smart fitted black suit with a crisp white shirt and grey striped tie. Sue put on the stockings and garter and slipped into the form fitting black cocktail dress. She was quite surprised. The dress came down to the top of her ass in the back and was quite revealing. In the front the neckline also dipped down exposing the top mounds of her breasts barely concealing her dark brown nipples. It also barely reached the top of her stockings but once she had the stilettos on Sue felt grown up and elegant and looked forward to drinks celebrating her vows. Mark was shocked at the personal wedding gift but was also impressed that Mr Lennox had taken note of his bride.

As promised George Lennox sent his car and the newlyweds arrived at his home at 7:15 pm. When they entered Mark noticed all the young associates gathered in the living room in small clusters and Sue noticed 6 mature black men including George Lennox having drinks and cigars in a smaller room across the hall.

Immediately George Lennox came out greeting the couple and welcoming them to his home. He instructed the senior associate, Stephen, who Mark had met briefly several times, to take Mark and introduce him to al of the associates and get him a drink.

Lennox put his arm out for Sue to take and Said, "My dear come with me so I can introduce you to the Executives of our company."

Mark left with his coworker while Sue accompanied the CEO into the small library. Handing her a glass of champagne, Lennox said," Gentlemen, this is Sue, the wife of our newest associate - the young, lovely white bride I have told you all about."

He then turned to his right and said Sue first I would like you to meet Luther, my youngest brother who heads Human Resources at our company.

For the next 15 minutes Luther told me about the company, how the brothers had formed it and how unusual it was for one of the associates to be married.

While we were speaking Luther kept his arm around my waist making sure I was close to him and attentive.

George Lennox then re-appeared handing me a new glass of champagne - Sue this is one of my other brothers, Wilfred, who heads legal. And then for the next 15 minutes Wilfred told me about how the company had expanded and what a wonderful surprise it was to have such a lovely young girl in the mix now. Again, he too had his arm tight around my waist for the entire conversation.

Next I met James, Finance, Donald, Acquisitions and Tony, Imports. All Lennox Brothers.

I found it strange that 6 black brothers had formed an oil company and stranger that all of their employees were young white men having drinks in a separate room.

Finally, George Lennox approached me. Handing me a fresh glass of champagne we talked about meeting his brothers, how successful the company had been and how much he enjoyed having me to his home to meet his brothers and the Executive Team. Unlike his brothers though, George Lennox had allowed his hand to rest below my waist, directly on my ass. As I finished my drink, Lennox looked around at his brothers and said, "Gentlemen," and he lead me out of the room to the adjacent room where Mark had been all evening.

I looked at Mark whose jaw had dropped and we both looked blankly at one another.

Lennox continued," Mark, I am pleased to report, has been appointed our new Europe and Middle Eastern Analyst effective immediately. Mark, congratulations!"

With that Mark came forward and shock hands with George Lennox and the other five Lennox brothers.

Lennox then said to Mark, "Please get your passport ready and see me in my office Monday at 9 am and we will have your paperwork ready. Congratulations." And he was gone.

On Sunday, Mark and I were still speechless about the announcement and promotion. It was so sudden and unexpected but we agreed it was an amazing opportunity. We also knew that Mark's $60,000 salary would likely increase, money we could use towards a new home.

THREE

On Monday morning Mark reported as instructed at 9 am. It was Luther who was waiting and he had all the paperwork for the transfer and details on Mark's flights and accommodations in Dubai. As expected his salary rose to $90,000 and all his expenses were covered. And, they expected him to leave the next morning as important meetings and negotiations were waiting.

It was a whirlwind getting Mark packed and off to the airport but he was gone. It was that fast!

Mark had been gone less than an hour when the phone rang. It was George Lennox.

"Sue, I am wondering if you might have time to come to my office this afternoon for a meeting," he asked.

"Well of course Mr Lennox is anything wrong I could be there at 3 pm if that works," I replied.

"No, no, my dear nothing is wrong - I will see you at 3 pm, Sui" And he hung up.

I had never been to the offices of Lennox Brothers. I was surprised immediately.

A large sign on the left said "Associate cubicles" while a more dignified and elaborate sign on the right said "Executive Suite" I turned to the right and was instantly impressed by the decor and class of the suites. And suddenly, in front of me, was George Lennox.

"Sue, so good of you to come in on such short notice," he said guiding me into his office.

Pouring two glasses of scotch he handed me one and motioned for me to sit on the expensive leather sofa.

" Sue, I suppose you are wondering why I've asked you to meet," which met with me nodding and taking in the office surroundings and Mr. Lennox's imposing presence.

" Sue, we expect all of our young associates to do their own paperwork, reports, correspondence," he began," but Mark was telling me last week that you has studied these things in high school and have talent in that area."

"I am adding to the company and require a Personal Assistant and the Leadership Team, comprised of my brothers, who you met Saturday night require an Executive Assistant."

"We were so impressed with you Saturday night Sue, how you presented yourself in that dress, how you accommodated each of us as we spoke to you and now that you will be alone as your husband has been transferred to Europe we thought this ight be an exceptional opportunity for us and you."

He reached out and touched my arm, "Sue, I think you would make an excellent addition to our Executive Team how would you feel about working closley with me and my brothers?"

"Mr Lennox I don't no where to begin, I have just finished high school and have no experience and have never worked in an office before," I explained.

"Yes Sue, we feel that you could learn so much, experience can be learned Sue and we are willing to invest the time it will take to teach you what you need to succeed in these positions."

"Well Mr Lennox I would need to speak with Mark and see what he..."

"O no no no, let me deal with that Sue, Mark will be so busy in his new job I know he will want you to be taken care of and make sure your time is filled so you are not lonely."

" Well Mr Lennox if you think he will be okay with it I guess I could try and we could see how it goes." I smiled

With that he pressed a buzzer and his 5 brothers joined us in the CEO office.

"Brothers, I am very pleased to tll you that Sue has accepted our offer and will be both my personal Assistant and the Executive Assistant for our Leadership Team!"

They all raised their glasses of scotch and toasted my new position each one hugging me and giving me a kiss on the lips.

I was really delighted that they had been impressed with me. Clearly these 6 mature black men were very talented and skilled and knew the business world. They had an international oil company with 120 employees and even an office in Dubai where my husband now worked.

I also knew that by working we would be able to buy a house even sooner.

we finished our drinks and George Lennox took me aside - "Sue, I'll give you a few days to arrange things but will send my car for you Friday at 3 pm and you can start work then. The hours will be unusual and long at times but with Mark away I know you will be able to be flexible and take care of our expectations," he explained, and Sue, you only need to bring essentials, personal items with you as everything you need will be at my home when you arrive."

FOUR

I was glad to have two days to unpack and tidy the house. And I prepared a small case with stationary, a pen, and my personal items like make-up.

On Thursday Mark phoned and I told him I had been offered a secretarial job at the company - he was very surprised but I explained that Mr Lennox felt it was fine as he was working in a different office and that I had skills from school that they required. He didn't argue much and said he was very busy.

Friday, the car arrived promptly and I set out for Mr. Lennox's home. When I arrived he met me at the front door and welcome me, again with a lingering hug and kiss on the lips.

"Sue, please follow me," he directed. We went up the grand staircase and he escorted me into a large bedroom.

"This will be your room Sue and this he said pointing to an ensuite is your private bathroom. And please here," he said leading me into another room, " this is your dressing room, everything you need is here - business and social wear on this side and casual wear and lingerie on this side. There is a selection of shoes for you that match all of the clothes and in the drawers you will find extensive jewelry, makeup and accessories."

I blurted out, "Mr. Lennox, I don't understand I have clothes at home and a bedroom, why on earth would you have these things for me?"

"Sue, we hired you as my personal assistant and that involves you being available when I require, with Mark in Dubai, it makes more sense for you to be situated here and as this is a new career we have taken care of providing everything you will need as my Assistant and as Executive Assistant, I trust this is not an issue Sue?" he asked as he lead me through a hallway.

"And here Sue is my ensuite, dressing room and bedroom, you see there is only a hallway separating us which will make working together easier and more convenient. Now dinner will be at 6 but we will have drinks in 20 minutes. You can meet me downstairs."

I was flabbergasted. I looked at the clothes, shoes, jewelry it was exceptional - the best. I had never owned things so expensive and so beautiful.

I realized drinks were in a few minutes and quickly selected a small white shoulder less dress with white pumps. I was in a rush so didn't bother with a bra or panties and it was a warm July evening anyway. When I looked in the mirror I knew I would love the wardrobe supplied and all of a sudden felt more at ease.

Mr Lennox and I had drinks and a lovely dinner that had been catered and soon it was 11 pm.

When we arrived upstairs Mr Lennox suggested I look at the lingerie and then come in for a few instructions about the next day before I went to bed.

The lingerie was an issue! I hadn't even bought this type of outfit for our wedding night. It was expensive, revealing and sexy. But I picked a pale pink negligee and slipped it on with a pair of plexiglass mule slippers.

Saturday and Sunday were spent getting to know one another and followed the same pattern. Meals, drinks, learning about the company.

On Monday we headed to the office and I spent time with each of the Lennox brothers learning about what they did office. They were all very welcoming and touchy feely. But I figured that was how they were.

When I met with Luther Lennox he reviewed my contract and I was completely SHOCKED. As he reviewed it, he began with my $180,000 a year salary!

"Mr Lennox, this is my first job and I do not have the skills for a salary of this amount," I meekly said.

"Well Sue, the brothers discussed your new positions and given what is expected we simply took your husbands salary and doubled it."

" I appreciate the offer but Mark went to school and I don't think he would feel comfortable with me making twice as much after high school."

" We have made our decision and this is your starting salary," Luther Lennox explained moving on to my living situation, wardrobe, travel and availability.

"Now Sue please sign here and this will all be done," he handed me a pen and I signed.

On Wednesday, George Lennox called me in his office and said, "Sue we'll be taking our first business trip - we leave tomorrow Thursday and come back Saturday night - we'll be going to Vegas for B&H 2023. I've had a suitcase prepared for you and anything else you need we can get there. We leave at noon tomorrow."

I was very excited. I had not traveled much, certainly not in a business or work capacity. Accompanying a CEO was really intimidating. I also wondered how Mr. Lennox has managed to have everything in size - then I had remembered the extensive application his brother Luther had made me complete. It was everything including hairdresser, makeup brands, sizes, jewelry preferences, I thought it strange at the time but now realized the benefits of working at a large international company. None of this had been covered in high school.

I was also lucky that my petite frame of 5'2 99 pounds was a relatively easy fit. Except for my breasts which had developed noticeably and were firm melon mounds at 40d. I opened my pre-packed suitcases and was surprised at the contents - everything in both cases was black - black lingerie and black shoes in one suitcase and in the other a selection of bikinis, dresses, makeup and jewelry.
