Life in the Elysium - A Guide to the Characters

DRAMATIS PERSONAE

Note: Life in the Elysium is a work of fiction. Unless otherwise indicated, all the names, characters, businesses, places, events and incidents in this book are either the product of the author's imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.

Since the story is pretty long, the first in a multi-part series, and there are a lot of characters, we at Sinclair Group LLP wanted to publish the following character cheat sheet for people to reference as they are reading the various stories within the Elysium universe. This covers the characters who appear in Part 1 and either play a major role, are mentioned repeatedly, or are sexual partners with characters in the story.

Hopefully this will help people as they read part one in our series, Life in the Elysium!

The Sinclair Family

Jack Fisher

- Born October, 2010. 21 years old. College student / Vice President, Sinclair Group. Son of Emily and Jonathan Fisher. Raised by his mother following the death of his father when he was 9 years old. Attended an elite boarding school in Massachusetts until he graduated. Attends Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and is a senior. Plays baseball for the Georgetown college team, as a utility infielder. Did an internship on Wall Street his junior year. Jack is a strong, gifted leader, charismatic and mature for his age, although very impetuous, can be naive and had a fiery temper. He is quick to fall for people, and is willing to try almost anything once. He is conflicted initially by his mother's attraction to him, but eventually accepts it. Bisexual, leaning towards straight, does not date men. White.

Emily Fisher

- Born July, 1991. 40 years old. Mother of Jack Fisher. Married to Jonathan Fisher at age 19 until he died when they were 29 and Jack was 9. Engaged to Solomon Sinclair. Attorney, specialized in entertainment and hospitality law. Attended Stanford University, where she met Jonathan. Spent the last twenty years since law school climbing the corporate ladder,while skipping things like dating or maintaining a home. Was known for being strait-laced and ruthless as a corporate attorney. After joining the Sinclair Group, in 2029, started to open up sexually. She prefers black men but has a crush on her son that she is willing to act on. Straight, with bisexual tendencies, experimented with dating women. White.

Solomon Sinclair

- Born July, 1983. 48 years old. CEO, Sinclair Group. Adopted by two white parents who left him a moderate inheritance when he died that he used to start a hotel chain. Attended Princeton University, earned an MBA at NYU. Married Lena Schuyler when they were 23. Lena opened him up to a variety of sexual experiences, including bisexuality, while they lived in New York and she was part of the theater scene. At age 35 after his wife had been discovered by Hollywood, he tried to branch into Las Vegas, planning to open his first casino/hotel, plans that were aborted after his wife was killed in an apparent plane crash when they were 36. He sold his assets and went abroad living in various countries temporarily for a number of years. Moved backed to Vegas at age 38, began working for one of the oldest casino owners, the Chesterfields, moving rapidly up the corporate ladder. Formed the Sinclair Group when he was 42 and opened the Elysium in parts, beginning in 2027 with the Hotel/Casino and residences, with the rest of property in its current form opening in 2029. Hired Emily Fisher to serve as general counsel for the Sinclair Group in 2029, and the two built the Elysium into the success it is today. Working so closely with her, they eventually fell in love. Has engaged in an incestuous relationship with his daughter (but no vaginal sex) and son. Bisexual, leaning towards straight, does not date men. Black.

Nyla Sinclair

- Born January, 2007. 24 years old. Daughter of Solomon and Lena Sinclair. Artist / Vice President, Sinclair Group. Did not attend college. Gifted sculptor and painter. Bonded closely with her father after her mother was killed. Was 12 years old when her mother died. Experimented with sex with Miles and then later 'seduced' her father, after the Elysium opened. Very strong personality, skeptical of outsiders and fiercely protective of her family. Maintains an entourage, the 'Terrible Trio' made up of her former babysitter/tutor, her bodyguard and her assistant at the Sinclair Group. The four are virtually inseparable, which has limited her relationships with men and other women. Bisexual, learning towards gay, has dated men and women. Mixed race, black father/white mother.

Miles Sinclair

- Born February 2006. 25 years old. Son of Solomon and Lena Sinclair. Singer/DJ, Vice President of Live Entertainment for Sinclair Group. Sent to co-ed boarding school in California at age 14. Attended UNLV, member of Sigma Delta Rho fraternity. Gifted musician with an amazing singing voice, but has yet to sing in front of crowds, although he DJs quite often. Bonded strongly with his father and sister after his mother died. Was 13 years old when his mother died. Dated Mikey Romano in boarding school, was brokenhearted when they were forced to break up by Vex Romano. Stayed away from sex, until he began experimenting with his sister, who was trying to help him get over his breakup. He was later seduced by his sister and father. Laid back personality, on the sad side, has never really gotten over his mother's death and his breakup with Mikey. Has had very few meaningful relationships with other people. Gay, with some bisexual tendencies, does not date women. Mixed race, black father/white mother.

*Lena Schuyler Sinclair

- (Deceased) Born July, 1983. Died November, 2019 at 36 years old. Was killed in a plane crash in Alaska in 2019. Blonde and curvy, she was discovered in the mid-2000s on Broadway, and eventually made her way to Hollywood. She was a rising star, but was killed before she could make the A-list by her death. She and Solomon were married at age 23, after she got pregnant with Miles. She was sexually liberated, dated men and women, and taught Solomon a lot about sex, love and relationships. Described as warm, vivacious and sexy, she was a good mother and wife, and Solomon still loves her. True bisexual, dated men and women. White.

- (Deceased) Born March, 1991. Died, March, 2020 at 29 years old. Stay-at-home Dad. Father of Jack Fisher. Married to Emily Fisher. Was a doting father and nerd's nerd, who collected comic books and Star Wars toys and was big into video games. Attended Stanford University, where he met Emily and they married at age 19. Graduated, but chose to be a stay-at-home Dad so that he could care for Jack while Emily chased her dreams. Later went to dental school and was going to be a dentist. Died of COVID 19 in 2020, just two weeks after his 29th birthday. Straight. White.

The Terrible Trio

Chloe Taylor

- Born May 2001. 30 years old. Despite looking like she's perpetually 18, Chloe was one of Solomon Sinclair's first employees, hired at age 18 to serve as a governess to Miles and Nyla after the death of her mother. Has a cute and innocent side that she plays up because it amuses her and Nyla, but is extremely smart and capable. Joined the Terrible Trio in 2025 when Nyla turned 18 and they began a sexual relationship. True Bisexual, has dated men and women. White.

Celebrity Lookalike: Piper Peri (Porn star)

Gabby Hart

- Born April, 2003. 28 years old. Gabby spent her early life in the rough and tumble area of south Baltimore. From early on, she found she loved law enforcement, and joined the Baltimore Police Department at age 18 as a police cadet, made officer in 2021, and served until she was 22 years old. She was discharged in a sexual harassment scandal (she had harassed a fellow male officer). Trained in judo, Brazilian jujitsu and kickboxing, she considered a career as an MMA fighter, but accepted a job offer as a bodyguard with the qSinclair Group when Nyla turned 18. Has been part of the Terrible Trio since 2025 after she was seduced by Chloe and Nyla. Her role as Nyla's bodyguard is a closely held family secret, as Sol felt it was better for her to be dismissed as just a hanger-on than used as a deterrent to keep people away from Nyla. Lucy Lawson

- Born June, 2006. 25 years old. The youngest of the Terrible Trio, she was hired in 2026 to serve as Nyla's assistant at the Sinclair Group. She has an associates degree in photography from the College of Southern Nevada. Red haired, tall and busty, she has been compared to a real life Jessica Rabbit. She has declined numerous offers to go into modeling, preferring to be behind the camera. She is the most recent addition to the Terrible Trio (it officially earned the moniker when she joined) in 2026. She is one of Nyla's closest friends and would gladly be in a committed relationship with her if Nyla was interested. Has a crush on Jack Fisher, which has forced her to reconsider how she defines herself sexually, as she's rarely enjoyed sex with men. Gay with bisexual tendencies, does not date men. White, with Irish heritage.

Lionel Jefferson

- 41 years old. Lionel is a security guard with the Sinclair Group. Prior to joining the Sinclair Group, he was an FBI special agent for 15 years, assigned to counterintelligence. He was focused on China, but also participated in the FBI investigation into Lena Sinclair's death, where he met Sol. When he expressed boredom with his job at the Bureau, Sol offered to have him join the Sinclair Group, which he accepted. He's worked there since it was founded, and has been the senior family protective services agent. Fiercely loyal to the Sinclairs, knows almost all their secrets, and has even participated in some of their family 'fun'. Straight, with bisexual tendencies, does not date men. Black.

Celebrity Lookalike: Craig Robinson (The Office)

Chet Biggs

- 36 years old. Married to Monica, a cancer survivor, owns a dog named Scout. A former LVMPD officer, Chet was hired when the Elysium opened, and joined the Sinclair's family detail a year later. Unknown to the Sinclairs, he has a significant gambling problem, caused by his taking bribes when he was an LVMPD officer to help fund Monica's cancer treatment. His addiction has been exacerbated by the fact that he's living in Las Vegas and works in a casino. This has left him open to blackmail and bribery by unknown anti-Sinclair forces. Straight. Black.

Celebrity Lookalike: Will Smith (Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Independence Day)

Diego Torres

- 29 years old. Diego is a security guard, assigned to the 13th floor of the Elysium, the Sinclair Group's offices. He has been working for the company for four years, and has a Sinclair Group tattoo. He lives on site. He is heavily tattooed, and has been collecting tattoos on his chest and back since he was 13. He is very sexually active, and has ample experience. A former member of the Bloods street gang, he was raised on the streets of Naked City, and largely escaped jailtime or worse by being hired by Sol Sinclair. After Biggs is discovered, he begins to transition to the family protective unit. Gay, does not date women, tends to be submissive and is a bottom. Hispanic.

Celebrity Lookalike: Wilmer Valderrama (That 70's Show, NCIS)

Misaki Oh

- 24 years old. Misaki was born in Japan, Shizuoka Prefecture. She was discovered by Solomon Sinclair in a yukaku in Tokyo's 'Sleepless Town,' the red light district, during a trip to Japan. She was convinced to come and work for Sinclair, who sponsored her student and work visas and her degree in Hospitality management from UNLV. A stunning, tall, busty Asian woman, she looks like she could have been ripped straight from the pages of a Hentai. She is one of the senior sex workers employed at the Elysium. Bisexual, will do anything to please a client. Japanese.

Isabel Reyes

- 20 years old. Sex worker by day, uber driver by night, Isabel was born and raised in Nevada. She is of Hispanic background with some Native American blood. She's been a sex worker at the Elysium for a year, being hired after she turned 19. Bisexual, leaning towards straight, does not date women. Mixed race, Hispanic father, Paiute Indian mother.

Claire Hoskins

- 24 years old. Attended Cornell University's hospitality program. Claire is a very attractive, mixed race black woman who came to Las Vegas looking to get into the hospitality business. Born in Houston, Texas and raised there, she was always a sexual being, and combining her love of sex with her desire to work in a casino seemed like the perfect fit and working at the Sinclair Group was her dream job. She is Jack's assistant and semi-frequent bed partner, keeping him on task and steady, even during the difficulties surrounding his joining the company. Jim 'Jimmy" Crosetti

- 24 years old. Attended UNLV. Jimmy is one of the receptionists on the 13th floor Sinclair Group headquarters. He's been on the job for two years, since he got an internship with the company after finishing his degree. He loves the Sinclair Group and hopes to work his way up the corporate ladder. Straight, no bisexual tendencies. White, with Italian heritage.

Celebrity Lookalike: Andy Garcia (The Untouchables, Godfather III)

Pierre "The Maitre D'" Martin

- 57 years old. Trained at Le Cordon Bleu in France, with nearly thirty years experience in the food service industry. Sol brought him over from France when he opened the restaurants in 2027. Asexual. White.

Celebrity Lookalike: Jon Cleese (Monty Python)

Cosette Marchand

- 61 years old. Originally from Paris, Cosette is the sales manager at Sapphire, the elite women's store in the Elysium. A lifelong smoker, she has recently given the habit up after the Vegas draconian anti-smoking laws went into effect. She is tall, rail thin, a former model, with a severe hairstyle and is known for her severe temper, barking at staff and running Sapphire with the ruthless efficiency of a Soviet gulag. Straight. White.

Celebrity Lookalike: Alison Janey (The West Wing, The Diplomat)

Chris Stoneman

- 56 years old. Chief of Security for the Sinclair Group. A grizzled marine veteran who served in Operations Enduring Freedom/Iraqi Freedom and was awarded the Silver Star and the Bronze Star with Combat 'V'. After retiring from the Marine Corps as a Command Sergeant Major, she began security consulting, and eventually landed the job as Sinclair Group's head of security. She is strong on personal and physical security, but has had to play catch up with cybersecurity. She is fiercely loyal to the Sinclairs and demands and expects near perfection from her staff. Takes the security lapses caused during the company's reorganization hard. Gay, only dates women. White.

Celebrity Lookalike: Kate Mulgrew (Star Trek Voyager)

Chance Carter

- 27 years old. Chance is one of the stable of black men, referred to as "Bulls" who are sex workers at the Elysium. He has been at the Elysium for two years. Prior to that he worked in construction. He was discovered by Sinclair Group recruiters after his social media profile, which talked extensively about his servicing white women for the their husbands to watch, came to their attention. He lives on the 5th Floor of the Elysium and is one of Emily Fisher's favorite playmates. Straight, but is willing to be gay-for-pay, which he has done on occasion. Black.

Celebrity Lookalike: King Frank (porn star)

Jason Noir

- 34 years old. Jason Noir, not his real name, is a former porn star who was recruited by the Sinclair Group to join the stable of "Bulls" in 2029. After an extensive career in porn in LA, he moved to Vegas and lives on site on the 5th Floor of the Elysium. He is often looked up to as one of the leaders of the Bulls, given his extensive porn experience. He has worked with many of the major studios in LA, and is a two-time AAFI interracial performer of the year. Straight. Black.

Celebrity Lookalike: Jason Luv (porn star)

Terry "Red" Daggett

- 30 years old. Terry is one of the sex workers at the Elysium. Known for his boyish look, bright red hair and freckles, he appears a decade younger than he actually is. He hits it off with Chloe after he joins the auditions for the Elysium Productions porn studio. Bisexual, dates men and women, services male and female clients. White.

The Opposition

Avery Locke

- 27 years old. Senior Investigative Reporter, Las Vegas Tribune Review. Daughter of Vikram Patel and Ainsley Locke. Grew up in California, attended Columbia University journalism school. Growing up in a mixed Indian-American household she felt isolated and alone, and she turned to her twin brother Ethan for companionship. She engaged in a very brief incestual relationship with him, which was discovered by her father, Vikram. Her father was a paederast, mainly interested in boys, who took advantage of his knowledge of Avery and Ethan's relationship to compel Ethan to model for him, photos he then exchanged with other pedos. After years of this abuse, Avery reported her father to the police, who arrested him and he was convicted on child pornography charges. Ethan never forgave Avery for turning in their father, even though she did it because she knew he hated what their father made him do. When their father died in prison, Avery officially changed her name from Avery Patel to Avery Locke, her mother's maiden name. Her brother Ethan, distraught over his role in their father's demise, killed himself at age 17. He left a note for Avery, blaming her for everything that happened, and she blames herself to this day. Her fear and loathing of incest derives from this incident, and has created a sexual block that has keft her a virgin. She worked in a number of jobs as a reporter, eventually landing at the Las Vegas Tribune Review, where her investigative reporting took down the Speaker of the Nevada Assembly. Victor "Vex" Romano

- 69 years old. Vex Romano is the most ruthless casino boss in Las Vegas since the end of the mob era. As the paterfamilias of the Romano Family, he has benefitted from the end of the mob era in Vegas by setting up his own one family empire, and does not want any real competition. Starting with nothing, he built Empire Luxe Holdings into the largest and most profitable casino hotel chain the world. Sitting at the top of the Vegas hierarchy, as Chairman of mega-hotel chain Empire Luxe Holdings, Romano looks down jealously at all his competition, and is not above using dirty tricks and coercive behavior to ensure he remains first among equals in the Vegas casino business. While he dislikes competition, he knows he can't be the only game in town, and so he has allowed other corporations and families their place in the Vegas scene, so long as they understand their place is always below him. He is a virulent racist and gay baiter, hating Solomon Sinclair simply because of his ethnicity, his sexual proclivities and his marriage to not one but two beautiful white women. Smart enough to never get caught doing his own dirty work, he is like a spider who weaves his web in private, snaring all kinds of people and figures in his traps. While rumors have swirled in recent years that he has been willing to use violence for the first time to address his agenda, he has never been accused of a crime - and given his close relationships with the leaders of law enforcement and the courts in Las Vegas, he may never be. He truly believes himself to be untouchable, and for more than three decades in Las Vegas, he has been. Straight, married with two children, Eva and Michael.
