Hi all!
Well, here it is. If you're new to the story then I have to warn you; this chapter and the next are mainly for Jason fans. There's no sex, just furthering the story along. Sorry for the pace, but I have been working on it :-) As usual, please vote, comment, and most of all Enjoy (and forgive ;-).
I give you Chapter 15!

Jason waited for Kane to call and let him know that Bill and Suzanne had left with Simon and Elise before he went back for a visit. It had been two days since he'd seen her and since she was on the mend; he'd have to return to Atlanta after this visit.
The past two days had allowed her time to see her new babies and to confirm what she already knew in her heart. Things were going to be very different and it had to start with telling Jason and Brett the truth.
When he got to her room, he stood and watched her through the slim window in the door. Most of the swelling in her face had gone down and her fabulous mane had been brushed and pulled back into one of her trademark ponytails.
Instinct made her turn toward the door and when their eyes met; time seemed to stand still for a few moments. Before she could lift her hand to motion; he'd started to walk inside. Pulling up a chair, he quietly sat by her bedside and looked at her.
"I think that there was something important that you wanted to tell me?"
"Jason; I've done something horrible and I don't expect your forgiveness, but I couldn't take it if you hated me...forever."
He calmly reached out and took her hand.
"You should know by now that you can tell me anything."
"JasonβI" she managed to get out before the confession lodged in her throat. She swallowed hard and looked into his eyes and started again. "Jason; I don't know how to tell you except to just come right out and say it. The twins; my twins are..."
"Beautiful, just like their mother" he said with a comforting smile.
"Their also ours; yours and mine" she said as she closed her eyes and tears started to fall with the admission.
He thought that he'd been prepared to hear her admit what he already knew, but he was unprepared for her to say the words. He felt a heat in his chest that slowly rose to his face. He placed her hand beside her on the bed and got up and walked out of the room.
The realization hit him harder than he'd expected. She'd known, or at the very least suspected the entire time. He had expected to feel disappointment or hurt, but anger was coursing through his veins and it was just as real as his love for her. The shock of the news had worn off and rage was beginning to take its place.
As he stood outside of her door; he tried to come to grips with what he was feeling.
She sat there stunned; hardly believing the words that spilled out of her mouth. Surprisingly enough; she could breathe a little easier, but she wanted nothing more than to be able to go to him. The sight of him standing outside the door; rigid and cold, made her feel worse than keeping the truth from him had.
He stood there for a while trying to figure out how hearing the truth that he'd already known had affected him so. The woman he loved more than life had just told him that he'd fathered her twins, but in the same breath had let him know that she'd known all along. He'd hoped that she didn't know. He'd hoped that she was as surprised as he was to learn the truth.
He'd hoped wrong.
What did it matter really? Whether she knew before, during, or after; it didn't change the fact that he was a father. He needed some space.
Her heart threatened to stop beating when she watched him walk away. Would he come back?
