Catalina sighed, looking at her fully stocked but quiet store. She sat at the front desk, half on her phone and half looking to see if anyone would come with a sigh leaving her mouth. Her dream had come true of running a holiday shop like in a lot of her Christmas romances, but August was brutal, to say the least.
It was around Noon two weeks in when someone marched inside, causing the Latina to sit up straight in excitement. "Welcome to Cat's Holiday and Flower gift shop! Can I help with you anything?!" She asks, focusing on slowing down her breath to avoid seeming desperate to the first person who steps inside.
"You can help me with a few things actually, Princess..." He answered back and rubbed his bulge openly. The comment and the way he looked at her made her want to roll her eyes. It wasn't the first time she was being hard flirted at her from the door. She was proud to be the only Latin-owned store in town, but everyone who had a fetish towards Mexican women hit on her hard around the place.
"I meant over paying for something..." she says, giving a look of clear contempt, but the only thing worse than him leaving without a purchase would be getting a one-star review online.
The white male was looking in her direction but didn't seem to care about her words at all. Instead, his wandering brown eyes were checking her out hard, even when sitting. Between the highly exposing spaghetti dress, purple lipstick, white flower earrings, and choker, the stranger's crotch was constantly twitching, in need of coming out.
"Oh. Gotcha. How much for 30 minutes with you?" he asks in a deep voice. He was old enough to be her grandfather and fat enough to be Santa Claus if it wasn't for his worn appearance. He was a clear no. Even if he didn't have a heavy masculine musk to him.
"You're not serious....please leave. I am busy." She says grunting at the man, finally standing up. Cat was much smaller than the burly pervert in front of her register.
"You are, aren't you? I don't see anyone around."
"Because it's August, there aren't any holidays right coming up. Did you want to get any flowers or will you be in your way, Sir?" She asks in a more adamant tone, refusing to give in to a bully. Her mother always warned her about these types.
"Oh don't be so rude. I was just curious about what you were up to. You're passing on free money you know." He says, cracking a slight smile on his face as if he was approaching a punchline.
"Just store stuff. Now please go."
"Sweetheart, we can both see how shit your store looks right now. How about a deal?"
"No."
"1000. A day all you have to do is be mine for 30 minutes."
"..."
"Oh, and I guess I'll maybe buy some things."
Catalina put a hand on her hip and looked at him.
"Alright, fine. Risk having your store close. Go back to working on the finances, Hun." He shrugged.
Catalina closed her eyes to control herself.
"Only for today, and then I don't want to see you here again..got it..?" She says in almost a whisper.
"Aww, what happened to your little tough girl act?" The man said, getting a grant in return from the 25-year-old store owner.
"Shut up.." she says, shyly walking out from behind the counter. Her comment was returned with a hard slap across the face.
