Beautiful Delia
Chapter 1:
Delia, the goat herder's daughter, began to be noticed. She was observed not just by the boys of the village, but also by the men. Her beauty was obvious in only her tenth summer. It was becoming obvious that she would be a true beauty. It was not just her features, but also her comportment, her posture, and the respect she always showed to the adults of the village of Coberg which was near her home. The way the men looked at her often frightened young Delia's mother. Delia's father, Dalmerian, was so busy taking care of his charges, that he did not notice what was happening with his eldest child.
Most days he left before first light, and in the evening he was home long after dusk. He had a boy who helped him, but making sure the goats were taken care of, that the goats would survive the vagaries of the wilderness. The hills above Coberg. His livelihood and that of his family, depended on this. So his concentration was elsewhere than his daughter.
Delia's mother kept her from the village as much as possible. Delia had inherited her beauty from her mother Alaysa. Alaysa understood what could happen to a young girl left to her own devices in the village. It was common knowledge that Delia could have married a bevy of local merchants, or even beyond the town of Coberg. But Alaysa had fallen in love with a simple goat herder.
"Daughter. I am to have visitors today. You will be on your best behavior. Do you understand Delia?"
"Of course, mother. Might I ask who these visitors are?"
"I guess you will find out soon enough. 'Tis a Priest from the church and the Head Mother. From the city of Ghastlin. They have come to see you in particular." The city of Ghastlin, a town of perhaps twenty-five thousand, is about a half-day ride from the goat herder's house. Coberg is a half-day ride in the opposite direction. Coberg's population, really a mere village, barely surpasses a thousand individuals.
Delia gave her mother a quizzical look. She had never been to church, and as far as she knew, her mother and father were not particularly religious. Not thinking much of it, she shrugged and went about her chores. Delia was always conscientious about her chores and in fact, enjoyed helping her mother.
Just before noon, a fancy-covered wagon rode into the space around the hovel the family lived in. Delia was the oldest at ten summers, but she also had two younger brothers. Brothers that would one day work as goat herders. Out of the wagon stepped a gentleman. A man that must be on the farther side of fifty years old. A bit of a belly, dressed in finery the likes of which Delia had never seen before. He was followed by a pretty woman perhaps in her thirties in the full regalia of a Nun. The nun was clothed in a black habit that must be extremely uncomfortable in the warm weather. It was difficult to tell much about her in the habit and full dress that hid her figure. Only her face and hands were visible. Her habit covered all of her. Still one could see that she was a pretty woman.
Her father told her to go to her room. "The adults are going to talk now. Be a good girl, Delia."
"Yes, father. Of course."
A few minutes later she heard her mother cry. Not a loud and expressive cry, but a cry that seemed filled with sorrow. This was very unusual, as Delia had never seen her cry in Delia's entire life. She wanted to leave her room, but Delia was an obedient child. She waited to see what was happening. Finally, about a half hour after the strangers arrived, her father came into her room. "Delia, we have news. It is good news, but it makes your mother very sad." There was also a look of seriousness on his face. It seemed to reflect a bit of sadness. "You will be leaving us. You will be leaving us for a new life. A safer life. It will be hard for you to understand, but it is not safe here for you. You are too pretty a young girl and soon you will be a beautiful young woman."
Delia did not cry. She knew it would be useless. Delia had always been a practical girl. She accepted, that as a child, she had no say in what was happening. Her mother had disappeared so it was her father that walked her to the wagon. After giving her father and brothers a hug, Delia climbed aboard the wagon. She sat in the back seat for what turned out to be a long and dusty ride.
The Priest said not a word to her. It was the Head Mother who said a few words to Delia. She began to tell her a few things about her new life. "You are to be a member of our church. You will start as a Novitiate until we believe you are ready. You will then be admitted to God's family as one of his daughters. As a full Nun in the church. Upon your eighteenth birthday, if you are a good Nun in standing with the church. Well, your duties will... Let's say you will have special duties."
The years passed and Delia grew into a young pretty woman. Though no one would have any idea as she was always dressed head to toe in the white habit of a beginning Nun. These nuns are Known as Novitiates. Most girls became Nuns at the age of eighteen or nineteen. But Delia studied very hard, and by the time she was sixteen, she was ready to take her vows. She had passed every test given to her.
In those years the head mother had moved to another flock, another church, in the capital. The capital city of Ganderberg. The city that Delia found herself in was the small city of Gather. The church was one of many in the empire of Darton. The new Head Mother of the church Delia was in, was very young for the position. "Mother..., I am ready. I am ready to take my vows and be a nun. Ready to fill my obligations to the order."
It was unusual for a Novitiate so young to be ready to take her vows. Novitiates can only become full nuns at or after their nineteenth birthday. "Uhm, not until some time in your eighteenth year, will everything be explained. Upon coming of age, you will be made a Nun. Not until then can you take your vows, and take a name as a full Nun. There are requirements for being a Nun in this church that will be explained to you as the days grow closer to that birthday. This is because you have already been chosen to be part of a special sect of Nuns."
Delia was disappointed, but she was also aware that there were secrets the church was keeping from her. She was trusting, though, and was sure that these things she would learn in time. That whatever these secrets were, they would be a good thing. She wasn't certain what those secrets were, only that there were strange things that happened with some of the nuns.
For one there are women that upon becoming full-fledged nuns, wore gray habits. They were known as the Gray Nuns. There was also the fact that the Gray Nuns were sent on what were called sojourns. Delia did not know what the sojourns were. She only knew that they lasted anywhere from overnight to a few days.
Chapter 2:
As time passed, Delia had to learn not everything she needed to be a Nun. She also had to be in excellent physical shape. The strangest exercise she was required to do, was to strengthen her inner vaginal muscles by doing two hundred Kegels each day. She was told this was to ward off such things as bladder infections.
The pretty sixteen-year-old turned into a very beautiful eighteen-year-old. Delia had become a tall and attractive woman. Three inches under six feet, with long and sexy legs, always hidden by the attire she wore as a Nun. A flat tummy with C-cup breasts, a round perfect ass, and a flat tummy. Delia has a shapely body. Her face is that of an angel. A narrow nose with perfect full lips, round and unmarked cheeks with long dark locks that if ever seen went almost to the crack of her ass.
It was a couple of months after her eighteenth birthday when Delia was heading to None, afternoon prayers. She overheard the Holy Father and the Head Mother. They were having a tense conversation in the Holy Father's private chamber. She would not have thought anything about it, or even remembered it, except she overheard her name in the discussion.
That evening she was in her private chamber. There was a knock at the door. She had just begun to unwrap the layers of her habit, so she quickly put them back on. She crossed the small chamber and opened the door. Delia was surprised to see the Head Mother, Mother Alice, outside her door. She quickly nodded to the younger woman. "May I come in? I need to discuss something with you."
Delia waved her in, "Of course, Mother."
"This is delicate. I would have preferred for this to wait. Closer to your vows. But the Holy Father insists that this take place today. That you learn your duties whence you become a Gray Nun. In a sense..., this will be a training period." Mother Alice looked down, "You will understand."
"I am to become a Gray Nun? Is this new Mother?"
Again Mother Alice lowered her head, her eyes down, her words chosen carefully. "No, in truth, it has always been the plan. But, those of the Gray Nun order only know what is required of them very shortly before they become Gray Nuns. Usually, that is. I spoke to the head priest..., I'm sorry, I mean the Holy Father, and he insists; that you be told now. Earlier than I would like."
"Of course, Mother. I will do as I am instructed."
"That's all well and good..." Mother Alice shifted her feet. It was then that Delia noticed the long coat she was carrying. This was not the normal attire of either a Nun or a Priest. "First, get out of your habit." She quickly undressed down to her underwear. "All of it. Take off all your clothes." Delia took off her underthings. She stood before the Head Mother who handed her the coat. "Put this on. Come with me."
Delia was a bit surprised, "Just this mother?" She said as she closed it and brought the strap around it to hide her naked body.
"Yes, follow me." Delia started to ask a question but was quickly interrupted. "Enough. Remember your vow of obedience. As I said, follow me."
The Head Mother quickly walked down familiar hallways. Delia suspected where she was to end up. Delia is a very intuitive young woman, but she was still surprised when she found herself at the back end of the church, in front of the Holy Father's private chamber. Mother Alice knocked at the door, nodded at Delia, and then walked away. Delia understood that she was to wait, and it was only moments before the Holy Father opened the door. He stood before her in nothing but a robe and waved for her to come into the room. "Come, come, novitiate. Come into my chamber please."
Delia, very nervous, suspected what was to come. "Father, why am I here?"
